Quality shoe brands that are stylish for wide feet women

Rothy-like shoes , sandals, wedges, and everything in between for a good capsule wardrobe. Most I see are either bad quality, look like bulky orthotics, or look too aged.

Need support: getting tired of SSRI/Zoloft side effects

Started Zoloft about 2 months ago and am currently at 50mg (yes, I know it’s not high enough dose for OCD yet). It has done WONDERS for my panic attacks and some of my OCD symptoms. I feel more unbothered about things generally. This occurred pretty quickly into taking it and I had the typical side effects during the adjustment phase and they didn’t even seem that bad.

That is until recently. I feel like most of the adjustment period should be over with but over the past couple weeks I have started getting bad effects: bad GI issues, dry skin and hair, impatient/easy to get frustrated, headaches, jaw clenching, can’t stop eating/craving carbs and sugar, anxious yet emotionally muted, breaking out randomly, and SO TIRED all the time.

I took Lexapro a few years ago for about a year and it ruined my hair and dried me out - it took so long for my hair to go back to normal. I don’t want to go through that again. I feel smelly, fatigued, and unattractive. Currently single and don’t feel like I can date with how frequent and smelly my…uh…gas is.

Sorry…I know that was a lot.

I really beed advice/support because I am hoping this all goes away because it doesn’t seem sustainable. Also, I’ll eventually need to up the dose and don’t want it to get worse. Should I switch to Prozac? Did your symptoms get better - especially the tiredness, GI issues, and dryness/bad hair changes????

Did your skin get better or worse on Zoloft?

I have been breaking out all over my chest and back. I wonder if it’s just getting used to it, or maybe the unbearable heat where I am…I dunno…

Best high waist linen short

Alright, so I know I’ve been making quite a few posts lately as I’ve been trying to get staple items - but here’s another one.

Looking for a comfy, cute, high waist versatile linen short (not too short, maybe mid thigh or longer?) And not too tight at the leg. Would prefer no drawstring so it can be used causally or elevated. Not a fan of the Athleta or Aritzia ones. I did buy a pair from Banana Republic but they were thin and the hem fell after one wear :(

Appreciate any suggestions!!

Best, Most Comfiest and Flattering jeans (non-petite) for wide hip/big booty girlies

Hey all!

So, I know this may be a tall order - I have a body type that can be difficult to find a good fit: small chest, wide hips, large butt (but otherwise small frame), on the tallish side at 5’7, 150lbs. High to mid waist looks best on me.

Also, I have reflux from time to time so I need something that is comfy/not too tight around the tummy.

Alright, so with all that said, any similar bodied girls who have found their holy grail of jeans?? I have struggled and nearly given up.

Comfy crop tops??

I love throwing on a comfy crop top with high waisted bottoms as it suits my figure best (small chest, wide hips, big booty).

Anyone find long lasting, comfy crop tops that aren’t too short and full coverage for chest and back (don’t mind a bit of midsection showing)? Would love some suggestions!!

Best every day T-shirts that are comfortable and flattering

Having a bout of chest and back acne that has me feeling really self conscious so trying to find a good T shirt that has full coverage (crew neck?) that I can buy in multiple colors.

For fit, I’m looking for something that is flattering AND comfortable and isn’t at an awkward cut or too long.

I’ve gotten some from Banana Republic in the past and Gap that were okay but if anyone had links to specific ones that they LOVE that would be awesome!!

Best SSRI with the least side effects?

Hey all!

I have been on Lexapro in the past and I hated it (extreme hair loss, eye issues). I have been trying Zoloft now and it has been a miracle for my depression and intrusive thoughts. However, it’s been almost 2 months since I started and maybe a month since increasing to 50mg and the GI issues have been bad (mostly flatulence). Also, my anxiety is slightly heightening (not anywhere near how it was before). I’m hoping the GI issues will resolve over time but it’s making me nervous.

Should I switch? Which OCD med helped you the most and had the least amount of side effects? Please share which one has worked best and also include any side effects you don’t like that you still experience on it.

Thank you!!

Do the farts ever go away???

I started Zoloft about a month ago and it has made a world of difference in my anxiety and OCD. But OMG the farts are constant and putrid.

I told my psych about it but she said she never heard that (though she did say diarrhea is typical at first). She insisted it’s probably moreso my diet and suggested I stay away from sugars and too many carbs.

Does this eventually resolve?!?!? If so, how long? I don’t want to stop it as it’s helped more than anything I’ve tried before but it’s nerve wracking being around people and I’ve had a couple close calls.

Why is arch like this after braces?

Just got braces and was not really happy with the results. I preferred my teeth before.

Ever since I got them off, I have really bad upper arch pain. And, it almost feels deeper.

Anyone have any clue?

Folks who had open bites BEFORE treatment - how did it affect your posture and how did you compensate to make the teeth meet?

Interested as it’s been difficult for me to diagnose whether I have anterior or posterior open bite as my posture changes drastically to compensate.

I would love to hear from folks to see which type of open bite they had, how it affected your posture, and how you might have postures your neck or jaw in order to get those teeth to meet.

Also, what other symptoms did you experience along with having this type of bite? Tongue thrust? Nerve pain? Instability? Palate felt too close or too far from tongue? Or any other weird things?

Thank you!

Really embarrassed but don’t know where to turn- extreme palate pain

So, got into PT awhile back and was told tongue placement can help posture. Anyway, this lead me to tongue posture exercise I didn’t realize was associated with mewing or “hard mewing”. Essentially, pushing up on the hard palate just behind the front teeth.

I was doing this for awhile thinking it was correct tongue posture. Once I found out it wasn’t correct, I stopped. But, for many months now my palate is in so much pain and there’s even a divet that wasn’t there before. This has caused nose pain and burning in my mid face area as well as teeth have shifted a bit - not an open bite, but essentially more pushed out ward and retroclined.

I’m honestly really scared as this has affected my breathing and sleeping. What kind of specialist can I see for this and actually be taken seriously….I know how weird all of this sounds but it has been an absolute nightmare.

Any success or experience with MAGO splint?

Recently finished ortho and now bite is off. I now have to posture forward in order to get a bite. One ortho referred me to a dentist that specializes in sleep and MAGO. She wants me to do a sleep study and then based on the results, possibly use a MAGO splint to get my muscles to relax and put my jaw where it would be most comfortable.

Has anyone tried this? What was your experience?

Open bite folks: did you posture to get your teeth to touch?

My current bite is unstable and I posture a lot to get teeth to connect.

Let me know which type of open bite you have and how you posture your jaw in order to chew or close your mouth.

My mouth is on fire. Anyone else?

Started a few weeks ago and recently upped my dose to 50mg.

My mouth has been burning and particularly the roof of my mouth is sore and dry. Tongue is also not feeling great.

Anyone else have these symptoms or do I need to ask my doctor about vitamin deficiencies??
