What tyre upgrade should I go for? Currently on 700 X 35C.

My cycle tyre's sidewall is now getting cracked, and I was thinking of getting an upgrade.

My weight is 93kg, and I currently have 700 X 35C on my cycle.

For my rims, the max I can go for is 42c. As per my research

Tyre Width Experience
700x35C (current) Default — good balance of speed and comfort
700x38C Slightly more cushioning, still fast
700x40C Sweet spot for your weight — more comfort, better rim protection
700x42C Maximum — tight clearance, check before buying

Is going for 700x40C good for me? I like to travel far with my cycle, and will the 40-section protect my rim better and provide better cushioning? My city has up and down roads, random potholes and uneven roads.

I am sorry, guys; i was wrong. Now i know why peeps here recommend deca bikes...

I was being a fufaji and frowned when peeps used to recommend reviserside 120. I was like, whats soo good in it? And used to justify myself via saying bad gears and what not. Now, I myself bought a used Riverside 100 Red (frame M, 49 cm) with 6 gears, and man, the cycle is sooo smooth.

I recently sold my Firefox cycle, which was the OG one with all branded parts (suntour, Tektro, Shimano, Zoom, bla bla) and bought this one for cruising, @ a mere Rs 2500, and dammmmm

The cycle stem is sooo smooth, the crankset does not make noise, the aluminium (though single-walled) has no rust, AND THE GEARS ARE SOOOO CRISPPP, like they don't even take a nanosecond to shift.

The positioning is sooo good; I rode 13 km today itself from the seller's house to mine, and the path included asphalt, cement, potholes, flyovers and the cycle and its gears handled it all like a beast!

If peeps are looking for a cycle, I would also recommend riverside (though used) as the first choice for leisure cruising and weight loss.

Now planning to wash it thoroughly and clean the areas that have gooey dust due to oiling.

AM SOOOOOO HAPPY. I did not buy Hero or Hercules. I was going to buy Hero traveller 700c (gearless) just yesterday and the seller sold it to someone just 15 min before me going out to meet the seller! Maybe it was a sign from God!

I love you guys sooo much, muuuuaaahhh!

Need Kreo hive 98, lomg term review. Any user can help me out?

I have a brand new kreo hive 98, and also own a tvs gold.

I know kreos can have board issues, leading to whole rows becoming unfunctional.

I am confused, to whether sell my keyboard, or use it?

I have tvs gold. Its clicker and thonkier, but has no rgb.

Kreo is silent, premium sounding and has rgb.

Any ling term users can list their experience of kreo hive 98 and help me decide if i keep it or sell it?

How is the effectiveness? DO you recommend it? Is notetaking, revision and studying worth it on a digital device?

I own a Firefox cycle, and lately it's been getting punctured at the valve area, like, constantly. I have changed almost 4 tubes, but all of them are getting punctured from the valve area. Please, can any professional help me out with a solution? I have checked the rim and tube, and everything seems to be perfect. No sharp edges, and i am just at the point of considering my cycle to be cursed.

I bought it for 25K years back, and the same specs now cost about 35k plus. Please, any professional or expert in this matter, help me out.

i am like 95kg, is my weight a factor ?
