Tray 0 vs Tray 11/30 (110 days in)

Not much difference but a big change is the upper arch is a lot more straight compared to before. Not sure if this from wearing elastics or just the trays itself correcting this

Still got around 20 trays left, but it’s progress

A lot of face acne from raw milk

I got a sudden purge of face acne from consuming raw milk from a local high quality farm (couple days later after consuming). No BS why is this?

Are all humans able to digest raw milk?

Possibly it’s not good for me?

Do people prefer a twin or quad exhaust on the ND?

I believe the NC came with a twin exhaust as a standard which in my opinion looks nicer than the stock ND one

Do you think quad exhaust looks a bit too much for the ND?

What happened to the law suit where dentists weren’t allowed to perform Invisalign?

Is this case still open?

Was there ever an outcome?

I think unfortunately dentists bring in a lot of Invisalign revenue due to their cheaper offers they provide and the business marketing they do. There are dentists I know who have ran these limited time offers on their website for possibly over a year, but told me it’s going soon.

But then again the amount of cases where people have been botched by dentists and needed to get more and more refinements to fix it, or even had to go see another provider to fix it.

What happens if you have a relapse in the future and your teeth shift back?

If you still have all the old Invisalign trays, can you book an appointment to get attachments installed again and then wear the trays?

Would you have to start from tray 1 again?

I think it’s crazy spending around 5k or more and then your teeth can easily shift back

Edit: I am just asking and have not finished treatment

IPR barely looks any different

Those that are worried about IPR and the black triangles - I just had mine done and it barely looks any different. It was only 0.3mm on certain teeth and I know others have gone 0.5mm or more, but to my eye you can barely see a gap.

Provider messed up my next appointment by 1 week late

In this case they made a mistake by delaying IPR appointment one week later than needed so it means I’ll wear current aligner 1 week more.

Would you at least expect them to fit you in during outside office hours if they are fully booked?

What are some Invisalign regrets you have?

Could it be not wearing your elastic bands as much?

Doing too much or too little IPR?

Not getting your wisdom teeth taken out before?

Does your Dr even know anything about you?

I legit see my ortho for maybe 10 minutes max for a check up on my progress but I’ve been seeing them for quite a while now and I don’t even think they ever asked me what I do for work. When I see them for a checkup they only ask me what tray I’m on and don’t ask if I’m facing any complications. I noticed is that they love to talk, so if I asked them a question they will end up changing the subject somehow. They do see a lot of patients so I guess all they really care about is making money and are probably sick and tired of providing Invisalign.

This might be all worth it if all they care about is how my treatment is on paper and do not care about building a relationship with you. The ortho is a women by the way, and this is coming from a women myself and I noticed women tend to be more like this compared to men.

If you are taking up your lane accordingly, are you supposed to give way to a motorcyclist who wants to filter past you?

Had some scenarios where queuing up in tight traffic and a motorcyclist will start revving to alert drivers in front to give way.

Are you legally supposed to make space for them?

Thanks!

Just curious as to why a 20 minute Invisalign consultation costs £200

I work minimum wage so £200 is essentially 17 hours of work without spending a penny

Do you wear sunscreen?

Does the sun damage the skin?

Or is the sun needed, and the more sun you get the healthier your skin is?
