Connie Mayer pulled through!!

Ordered 2 and got 3 cuttings free back in March and after forgetting Connie in heavy rainfall she rotted before rooting. Cut the rot and calloused again and rotted one more time😭 at the time I got a new rooting powder that’s strong so I tried it out and got 1 baby root to pop up since the cutting was months old at this time and only 3”. Can’t believe all these cuttings were the same size when I got them but glad Connie made it after all!

4 month difference

My Santa Rita is hitting the 4 months on Monday and that’s when my ficus indica and cacanapa ellisana are arriving ‼️ they’ll be going in pots until March of next year.

Covered it with kaolin clay and diatomaceous earth cause a caterpillar was munching on a pad.

Ahí lily teolindas!

Got these for the looks and after the terrible germination rate the last two actually grew and the first ones are getting their stripes. Dont mind the kaolin clay one of the plants were getting scorched during a heat wave.

Loaf #2

100g starter
375g bread flour
230g warm water
9g salt +20g water

Mixed starter, flour, water and let it rest for 30 then added salt water and mixed thoroughly and let it rest for an hour. The first set of stretch and folds I did 10 to build the gluten and the second set just 4 followed by 2 coil folds all 30 minutes apart. It been around 85 degrees indoors and humid so it was done BF in 2.5 almost 3 hours. My first loaf came out decent too so I risked it and decided to add pepperoni, cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder to this loaf. Let it cold proof for around 16 hours and baked it at 450 for 33 minutes covered and 430 for 10-15 minutes uncovered. I used 2 $5 Walmart 9x4 bread loaf pans as I didn’t want to get a Dutch oven yet in case i struggled to make them lol. I will say I need to learn how to add inclusions better i didn’t like how they were only on half the loaf but its tasty so im not complaining.

True aji Amarillo?

I ordered seeds for aji Amarillo and the first spies are starting to turn orange but in all the pictures I see online they’re way bigger so I’m not sure if I got the correct seeds

About time hah

After seeing so many pictures on here of everyone’s flowers my 7 year old noid (I’m assuming it’s a viet white) is finally flowering again. It was bigger but a week long heat wave in the 100’s destroyed most of the branches last year :(

Passionfruit&peppers

Making a passionfruit habanero hot sauce soon. Didn’t think I’d get any aji Amarillos from these 2 gallon grow bags but they’re starting to fill up.

Almost 4 weeks

I got some u/cactusrootingpowder but don’t have any trichocereus cuttings currently so i wanted to test it on a dragonfruit cutting and it’s pretty cool how fast it works!

Seedling tips appreciated

It’s my first time growing from seeds and are around a month old. They’re by the window now but I’m not sure when I should start to uncover them and when to start introducing some fertilizer.

4/10-5/20

Almost 6 weeks makes a huge difference on these aji Amarillo. I have a few in ground as well I just wanted to see what a 2 gallon grow bag would do.
