Almost 6 weeks makes a huge difference on these aji Amarillo. I have a few in ground as well I just wanted to see what a 2 gallon grow bag would do.

Got 5 cuttings 2+ months ago and all are doing well except a physical graffiti. I fertilized it 2 days ago for the first time with Alaska fish emulsion and when i picked it up today I noticed the only branch it had ended up rotting but there’s another 5+ branches about to grow and the cutting is tiny!
First time growing sunflowers. 1st pic isfrom 4/14 and pic 2 was this morning:)
It’s my first year growing these flowers and planted a few different varieties. Basically all died, some dried up even if I was watering daily, other got eaten by caterpillars, some lived for a few weeks after transplanting then died and this Walmart Hungarian blue is 1/3 still alive lol. The other 2 are hen and chicks that are fallen over and one is being eaten by bugs. I’m in zone 10b and a week after some germinated we had a week long heat wave that destroyed over half and learning it’s best to sow in fall/winter i couldn’t wait and sowed at the end of February so i wasn’t expecting any to survive. I’m just hoping to get a single flower this year and I’ll be planting this fall.
Ordered seeds off Etsy a month ago and nothing came up and while my mom was in Mexico 2 weeks ago i asked her to find some, turns out one of my uncle grows them so he gave her a bunch of seeds and they germinated in 3-5 days! Cant wait.
This is the 5th pepper this year on 2 different plants that this happens. Theres no bugs inside and the hole is always at the bottom. I’m assuming it’s rot but I’ve never had this problem so I’m not sure.
Pic 1&2 is the new San Pedro I just picked up and my Santa Rita prickly pear is finally getting some growth.
Indecisive of pic 1 for $100 without the pot. If anything I’ll probably get 2 from pic 2
The first flower on this mortgage lifter is way bigger than others that I’ve seen. It’s the first year growing this variety from seed and this is the only one in a 2 gallon grow bag, the rest are in ground lol.
Got this jiimz twin spine back in November. It was rooted and etiolated and still kept growing skinny. It’s was the first trichocereus I got so I wasn’t sure about the potting mix and I feel it’s too organic I kept getting black spots especially after a night of extreme heavy rain i forgot to bring it in and it actually cracked. Any advice on ratios for soil and should I be worried about the rot by the roots?
2/4 plants I have growing have these holes in them but I don’t see any bugs on them.
We have other opuntia just for the leaf’s that flowered once maybe a decade ago. I decided to get a Santa Rita just because of the color and it’s been sitting for around 2 months now and wasn’t sure if it was going to pull through but I’m finally seeing growth! 1. Is this a bud or a leaf? 2. How does this fruit taste compared to other prickly pear and do you have to pollinate it?
Counted 147 that I could see and the season is just starting lol
