In 2013, Reddit accidentally revealed Eglin Air Force Base was its most Reddit addicted city

I'm sure some people have already seen this, but it's still pretty interesting and eye opening if you're not aware of it. We all know the internet is full of bots, but it's especially noticeable whenever a major story about this topic gets posted here or on other relevant subs. And this was back in 2013, imagine what they're doing now.

Just To Reiterate, The Moro Anime Is In Production

I see a lot of people upset about DBS Beerus, wishing it was the continuation of the anime and worrying that we're going to have to wait years to see Moro and Granolah. But it's literally in production right now and targeting a late 2027 release. This is just the appetizer before the main course.

And no, if DBS Beerus didn't exist, you wouldn't be getting Moro now instead. They're being handled by separate animation teams, with one helmed by Yamamuro and the other by Shintani. So you wouldn't of seen Moro this year regardless, literally getting mad over nothing. And yes I understand we've already seen some of these arcs a couple of times already, but please go take a look back at the original DBS animation, this was a much needed improvement.

Yui Tanimura Will Most Likely Direct the Next Souls Game

Quote from Miyazaki in 2024 - “I think it's very likely that we'll see new directors going forward. And I think if we do that, I'd like to step away from that supervisory role and give them full direction and full control over those projects. I think really this is the best way and the easiest way for them to flourish within that environment and with those new projects. What I foresee in this climate... is a FromSoftware where games can be directed by others, not only myself.”

With Miyazaki currently directing The Duskbloods, and him having previously talked about giving other directors the opportunity to take the lead, I think Yui Tanimura will end up being the main director of the next Souls game, whatever that ends up being.

Yui Tanimura's official last credit was Co Director on Elden Ring, it's unclear whether he worked on SOTE or not, but either way he's been MIA since then. We also know that whatever Project FMC is, it's supposedly multiplatform and is relatively close to release. Just going off what Miyazaki said, the fact that he's currently busy, and Yui Tanimura's previous credits, I think it makes sense.

If anyone is unsure who Yui Tanimura is, these are his previous works:

  • Director of Dark Souls 2 after Tomohiro Shibuya was replaced
  • Director of all three Dark Souls 2 DLC
  • Co Director of Dark Souls 3
  • Co Director of both Dark Souls 3 DLC
  • Co Director of Elden Ring
  • Presumably Co Director of SOTE but not confirmed

Duskbloods IS PVP Focused

There is a post earlier from u/Onyx_Sentinel saying there is almost no PVP at all which is incredibly disingenuous. Not hating on you mate but you really jumped the gun claiming that when everyone has only played a few hours and is still getting a grip on the systems. Almost every match I played had tons of PVP, it's just that the systems in place allow for multiple outlets for victory, similar to previous FROM games. There will even be ways to tailor your experience to encounter more PVP or PVE through customization in the full game, along with full on invasions where your only goal is PVP.

I encourage anyone who is unsure to watch some streams of the network test, Ratatoskr streamed the test and has some good gameplay -https://www.youtube.com/@ratatoskrstreams1416/streams

Miyazaki On Having Two Multiplayer Games In A Row

"At the end of the day, our motivation is always to just make a game that we want to play, something we've been wanting to make. Like you had mentioned, this time around there were a lot of ideas that had piled up that I wanted to incorporate into a game. On the topic of Nightreign, it's funny because there was never really any big plan that these two games [Nightreign and The Duskbloods] would both release next to each other. I mean, that's a different director, but both of those ideas just coincided with being multiplayer games. It's not necessarily some big reveal saying that this is the direction we plan to go moving forward. We still have a heavy focus on single-player content as well. This is just something that happened to work out the way it did.

Personally, it's very fun to make a multiplayer game like this. It's not something we've done a lot and we're looking forward to seeing players' reactions and getting the feedback. But it's like, the more you work on something multiplayer for a long time, if anything, it scratches that inch only to want to make something single-player again."

Miyazaki Comments on KADOKAWA Shareholder Proposals, Tells Fans to Look Forward to Both Announced and Unannounced Titles

"Regarding the matter you inquired about, I am aware of all the facts that have been reported. However, we are not in a position to know any further details, and there are many other people involved besides ourselves, so to be honest, it is difficult for us to comment in depth on this matter.

Therefore, please understand that this is limited to what I can tell you personally, and it is my opinion, not the company's. First of all, I am generally satisfied with the development environment that FromSoftware currently has.

I wouldn't say there aren't any areas for improvement, but we are able to freely create the games we want to make without excessive interference. And I believe that maintaining such an environment in the future, allowing us to concentrate solely on game development as much as possible, is of utmost importance to both myself and to us at FromSoftware.

If we have been able to create something valuable for our users up until now, I believe one of the major sources of that has been the environment we have been working in.

Finally, if our users happen to read this message, we want to assure you that we will continue to work harder than ever to create truly valuable games. We hope you will look forward to our upcoming titles, both those already announced and those yet to be announced."

Chris Bledsoe Calls a Bird a "Glowing Orb With Wings" and Somehow Doesn't Realize It's a Bird

Quote from his twitter - "Contact in the desert was the biggest ever this year and so was the sky watch. We witnessed dozens of orbs.

With 5 minutes left before the hotel turned the lights on, I told more than a 1000k people present why pointing my laser in a certain direction that the phenomenon may give us a grand Finale and it may be an orb with wings.

Within seconds a glowing orb with wings appeared and flew past the crowd. No it’s not a birdif you

If you want to learn something about the phenomenon and 20 years of research with scientists and not speculation, join us on one of our adventures you will never be the same.

We have this on several cameras from full spectrum to cell phones to Two types of night vision.

Also scientists from NASA and Lockheed the NSA and The CIA were standing next to me during the filming of this orb and has witnessed this many times."
