What are some tips or life lessons you wish someone had taught you when you were younger?

Okay, so I think this is a safe space naman for women. Can you share some “rules” or life hacks that you wish someone had taught you when you were younger, like in your early twenties? Yung mga bagay na sana natutunan mo na before, para hindi mo na hinahabol ngayon na nasa 30s ka na? It can be anything under the sun, skincare, hair care, hygiene, health, finances, relationships, career, or just life in general.

For those who are in LDRs, how do you prepare yourself for when you meet again?

I’m 28F, living and working abroad, and I’ll be home for a short vacation soon. Any tips for preparing mentally, emotionally, AND physically? 😂 Like how do you get yourself ready to finally be together again after so long?

What was your “God really made it happen” moment?

Hello! I’m sorry if this sounds too religious, but I’m in a season where everything in life feels so heavy. I know everyone has their own spiritual beliefs, and I completely respect that. But if you’re willing to spare a few minutes to share your story, I’d really appreciate it. Also the impending doom that i’m about to turn 30 so extra heavy sa feeling hehe.

Sen Pia Cayetano’s pilates studio semi hyrox gym

She owns this studio called Playform.ph. You can check their rates, but they’re actually quite affordable, considering how expensive Pilates equipment and other fitness gear are. Plus, you have to pay your employees, rent the space, and cover other operating costs… unless 👀

Help a girlie out here

hi, i’m working in IT here abroad and lately i’ve been lowkey anxious about everything happening in tech (layoffs, AI, etc.), I know it’s not the end of the world but it’s hard not to think about job security especially when you only have 1 source of income, i want to ask for those in tech or even outside it: how did you start building multiple income streams when you didn’t really have capital yet?
like:
what side hustles actually worked for you?
what job platforms did you use?
how did you balance it with a full-time job without burning out?

i’m not trying to start a business or anything big right now, just trying to slowly build something extra for stability.
would really appreciate real experiences/advice 🙏

The Donbelle timeline

The db timeline based on interviews over the years and information I’ve heard from someone who has worked closely with both camps:

2018: They met during playhouse. Donny already had a crush on Belle at this point, but nothing really happened since he had a different loveteam then. They were just friends.

2020–2021: During and after HIH, Donny’s feelings became more serious. Belle was also starting to develop feelings, but it was still very much in the crush stage.

2021–2022: Donny started courting Belle for real. This was the ligawan era, the driving from laguna to antip for 5 hrs just to see her.

2023–present: Dating.

What I don’t get is where all these recent narratives are coming from. From what I’ve observed, they intentionally kept their relationship private rather than turning it into a public matter. They were never the type to announce every milestone or put labels on everything for public consumption.

Also, before anyone asks, I’m not disclosing my source. All I’ll say is that this person has worked with both camps and would have no reason to make things up. Take it however you want, but the timeline above is consistent with what I’ve heard and with what we’ve all seen publicly over the years.

Frustrated bunso

I grew up in a family that struggled financially. After graduating from university, I started working right away. I’ve been in the IT industry for six years now, but despite working consistently, I haven’t been able to build much savings.

Early in my career, I was earning around ₱20,000–₱30,000 a month, and roughly half of my income went toward my parents’ medical expenses, household bills, and everyday needs. Even though I’m the youngest of five siblings, I felt a responsibility to help and did what I could.

Recently, I was fortunate enough to get a job that pays about three times my previous salary. I’ve managed to pay off some debts, which I’m grateful for, but I still don’t have substantial savings. Sometimes I blame myself for that. It feels like every time I start making progress, another emergency comes up at home, and honestly, it’s exhausting.

I’m not a big spender either. I’ve only traveled abroad twice in my life. Looking at what I own now, most of it consists of practical things I needed rather than luxury items, things I couldn’t afford growing up.

Lately, I can’t help but compare myself to people my age who already have significant savings, investments, properties, or businesses. Meanwhile, I feel like I’m only starting from scratch. I know life isn’t a race, but sometimes it’s hard not to feel left behind.

I guess I’m just tired. Tired of feeling guilty whenever I spend money on myself, and tired of feeling like I’m failing financially despite doing my best.

I’m also thinking about leaving the IT industry and moving into healthcare because I’m worried about AI and what it might mean for the future of tech careers.

Girlie here na gusto mag-try pero never pa ako naligo sa gym/studio so medyo kinakabahan lang ano yung normal hahaha
