Went for a hike in HP off the 110 fwy and heard some banging tech house playing. I didn’t stop by but I heard the music and was wondering what was going on or if it’s something they do normally. It’s def something I’d be down to do after a hike sometime. It was in a sewer type area under a bridge. Heard the music around 5pm
I don’t know much about tools nor have I used much besides a screwdriver and a hammer. I helped my cousin dig a trench , cut and sand copper pipe and thought about getting into an apprenticeship program. I don’t want to go in not knowing what tool is what when the journeyman asks for it. What tools should I learn about and how would I go about practicing to use them ?

A hobby box is too expensive for me usually so I would opt for retail boxes or just single hobby packs. But I’ve been interested in joining breaks. Are they worth it? Which are the best breakers in your opinion? What’s been your best pull?

We were super cool. Always talking , smiling , eye contact. We would always show each other things on our phones. She mirrored a lot of my actions. Today another woman coworker mentioned how she heard the rumor of us always talking and looking in love, and how they would all say we were a couple.
Anyway, she left to another school for work , she didn’t mention to me she was moving so we didnt get to say bye. I asked a coworker to give her my number to say our goodbyes. Thinking we’re good friends and we’ll keep in touch. She texted me saying sorry for not saying bye and saying thank you for everything. I responded saying I enjoyed my time with her , and for her to also have a good summer. I told her whenever she wants to go to in n out or for a coffee to let me know (every time she seen me with coffee she would say “wow you went to get coffee without me” or same with food so I thought it was a green light to invite her). She left me on read.
I’m kinda bummed out because even if it wouldn’t have worked out as potential partners I thought we were legit good friends , considering all the smiles and laughs and talks we had. Maybe it was fake.
I should’ve listened to those that said not to involve myself in that way with a coworker 😭 I’m probably in the group chat as we speak. I know ima get looks from her coworkers tomorrow when I clock in 🤣 GGs chat

I have two women coworkers. One I really like and have a crush on and not sure how she feels, seems mutual. The other one I like as a friend, really good friend but I feel she likes me as a potential partner.
Whenever the girl I like as a friend is talking to me we’re super friendly and always laughing , and with the girl I like I’m more serious but we have good conversations and smile a lot.
When the girl I like sees me talking to my friend that possibly likes me , she always tries to join in on conversation.
Yesterday I was talking to my friend , and she mentioned “yesterday why’d you text me if
Ms.——- was here” and the girl I like heard and chimed in and said “Ms. ——- wasn’t here yesterday you knew that didn’t you” *I didn’t know*. Another time they were both walking together down the hallway , and I mentioned to my friend I don’t like , “did you see what I posted on Instagram” and the girl I like immediately jumped in and said “I want to see what you posted”.
It doesn’t seem like much but she always seems to join in on a convo I have with the other girl.
Since we’re coworkers I’m waiting for the green flag before asking her out I would hate to ruin the friendship we have.
Another thing she does is when I bring food for lunch she’s always saying “what’d you get me”. The other day I brought in n out and she says “no way you ate in n out without offering me any” (her fav food). I brought a bday gift for a teacher that always gifts me stuff on holidays and she says “all I know is you didn’t get me anything for my birthday that’s crazy”.
That’s it. Maybe I’m delusional but goddamn I’m in love 🤣🤣😭

I need to rent a room in Pasadena for work. I had a room that I was supposed to rent and they cancelled on me last minute. I have a budget of $600-750 Max. I am 31m , custodian for the school district , will mainly be using the room to sleep. I have a son that will be with me on weekends maybe sleep over once in a while but not every night. There’s this girl I like at work we always talk and make eye contact. She always mirrors what I do and says a lot of phrases I say. We make eye contact and usually spark conversation. The other day I smiled at her she smiled back. Then a few days after she seen me and smiled.she asked me what street I live on , I told her and she said she never heard of it. Months later I told her I’m moving out , she said “from *street name* right , the one right across the street from *store name*. So she remembered the street and all of a sudden knew where it was. She asked me what I was doing when talking to another girl coworker and I said “just chatting”. Days later i was talking to her and another coworker asked us what we’re doing and she said “just chatting”. So damn near everything I do she copies lol. Is this a sign of interest or is this something people just do ?
The school district I work at is doing cuts and I’m not sure if I’ll lose my job completely or go back to sub custodian and get 30-40hrs per week. My family is moving 1.5 hours away from my work. My son lives close to my work with his mom so I want to stay in the city. It’s hard to find work to be able to rent a studio or apartment in SoCal. I had planned on going to a trade school this fall , but now with the cuts I would have to get a second job just to have a place to sleep. So much shit going on at the same time time and I just feel anxious and depressed asf so much stress. I just need some words of encouragement tbh. Maybe some ideas to help me get out this hole I’m in
