FamilyTreeDNA and MyHeritage, both are on sale

Which one do I get next? I already have my AncestryDNA results and there’s an interesting ethnic result I got there which could be broken further with more info from other results.

Note, I don’t want to “look for my family members” (I already have an Ancestry subscription for that).
I simply want to know more about my ethnicity percentages.

Ethnic background: Mexican, Spanish, Sephardic Mediterranean Jew or Levantine (great grandparents arrived Mexico claiming“Lebanon citizenship” and being Christians. They might have lied based on my AncestryDNA results and were Turks or Jews without Levant origins, or simply The Ottoman Empire was too widespread)

Why do my results show 14% Jewish when we identify as Lebanese?

My ancestors are believed to have been a part of the Lebanese inmigrants that fleed the Ottoman Empire aboard a French boat and landed in Veracruz, Mexico.
Update: we identify as Mexican-Lebanese, who were born in USA (except for 2 of my great grandparents who never set foot in USA and ‘arrived from Lebanon to Mexico)

My results: 40% Mexico and indigenous.
Iberian Peninsula:32%

However, I tested 11% Sephardic Jew in the Eastern Meditterenean and 3% Ashkenazi Jew in Central/South Eastern Europe. Does that mean I'm 0% Arab?

Do any latinos/hispanics, or even Brazilians who have a simlar story like mine actually show:
DNA% from Levantine and its countries... Or are you also showing Sephardic Jew?

Why didn't I show even 1% Levantine?
I have 3% Northern African. Not sure if that one counts as the Levantine mediterrenean.

Update: Forgot to mention that for a long time, "real Mexicans" used to call people that looked like my great grandparents, "Los Turcos!" (The Turkish people), so for a long time I thought we were Turkish as well**

Add subtitles in multiple languages

I know there’s apps that will translate what you say in 1 language into 1 other language. are there cheap apps that add subtitles in 2 languages,

or do I have to make the video with subtitles in 1 language, download it, reupload it, and ask the app to add subtitles in a 2nd language and then drag and drop to rearrange the new subtitles

(so they won’t be on top of the 1st subtitles that are now hard coded and left in that position)?

Who’s the most ridiculous character in 8?

First time playing Tekken. I chose Shaheen as my main because he “represents” my Arab ethnicity.

I soon learned that he’s considered a very honest and straightforward character, so he can’t “troll” others, specially because of his serious personality.

In other fighting games, I have fun choosing characters that look like a joke: Mr. Game & Watch, Faust, and Blanka (although I think he looks good but in SF6 no one really looks “like a joke”).

Should I choose one of the bears, wait for Roger, or is that robot lady already as “troll” and BS as you can get in Tekken 8?
PS: I’m also eager for that chubby Karate guy to come out

What other game genres have high replay value?

It’s so easy to stack gaming hours in fighting games! Before you know it, you’ve reached +100s.

Although I like RPG games (that aren’t MMORPGs), covering most games is possible under 50 hours, and while most are fun, I’m not like the gamers at dedicated RPG Reddit/Discords, or even only 1 RPG game who have spent basically the same amount we’ve spent in FGC. Once I’m done with the story, that tends to get my fix in RPGs. I don’t keep making a new save file many times and starting from scratch in the same game.

Another genre I’ve spent massive hours in is in racing games. There‘s tons of game modes, online multiplayer, and for me, even just racing against the clock to shave a few seconds in time trials is fun to try… for 100s of hours!! Platformers are also easy to replay for me after beating them once because of speedruns and glitches. They feel faster.

What game genres or specific games have you replayed for hundreds of hours after the main campaign?

Any cheap PS4 hit boxes that will work with Brook wingman on PS5?

I have an old MayFlash controller stick for PS2 which didn’t work by simply plug-and-play.

is there’s a way to know which ones will work before I buy them?

Which games have local communities?

I know many games have big ‘online’ communities. What I mean is which games have local communities meeting in big cities?

In Austin, Texas, it’s very easy to find Tekken, Smash, and Street Fighter tournaments if you simply look for them.

They’re all fighting games! Have you found another video game genre that actually has players organizing meetups in your city?

Which strategy games support keyboard and mouse?

Update; this is a repost from PS5. I read contradictory lists that show keyboard & mouse games. is there a way I can know which strategy games allow K&M without buying them first? (I would buy them if I know they support it)

Looking at the AES+ launch titles makes me wonder if the non-figthing games available represent their genre well, and if not, which ones would you like to see released on the 2nd wave to show what the AES+ is capable of?

Action Shooter: Metal slug and Shock Troopers.
Sports: Neo Turf Masters (Big Tournament Golf)
Puzzle: Twinkle Star Sprites?

Scrolling shooter: Pulstar
Racing: Over Top
Platform: Magician Lord (we really need, Top Hunter: Roddy & Cathy)

Beat 'Em Up: None available on day 1

I don't know how to categorize Windjammers, and it's possible to have the best baseball, soccer, X sport game instead of Neo Turf Masters taking the whole genre. Would you say that Neo Geo's wrestling games count as their own genre? They don't play like traditional "figthing" games. What other genres are we missing?
Oh, and don't forget, whatever genre Neo Bomberman is, lol
