cpu swap from amd to intel help

Hello everyone,

I recently experienced what appears to be a CPU failure with my AMD Ryzen 9 9900X paired with an ASRock X870 Pro RS motherboard.

Since I rely on my PC for work, I'm considering switching platforms entirely due to concerns about reliability. I'm thinking about moving to Intel and would appreciate some recommendations for an Intel CPU and motherboard combination that offers performance comparable to the Ryzen 9 9900X.

What Intel processor would you recommend in a similar performance range, and which motherboard would be a good match?

9900x dead on AsRock x870 pro rs after 9 months

Hello guys, I have a problem. My PC suddenly froze, so I shut it down and restarted it. Now the DRAM and CPU LEDs are on, and it won’t pass POST.

I already tried resetting the CMOS and re-seating the RAM, but nothing changed. I also removed the CPU to check if there was any visible damage, but it looks fine. Still, the system refuses to boot.

Does this mean my CPU is dead, or could it be something else? also all the fans are working and everything
