I’m so tired of living like this
I need tips, motivation, shame! Whatever it takes
I can’t live like this anymore

I have been struggling with mental health issues for my entire life (OCD and Bipolar disorder type 2. I HEAVILY suspect ADHD)
I’ve been seeing multiple professionals for my entire adult life but I simply don’t feel like I am ever getting any better
I take my medication and try to do everything they and other people recommend but I feel like I am just doing it to cross it from a list. I don’t feel any better when I do so.
It comes and goes in waves, I sometimes really feel hopeful like it might all get better and then a couple days later I’m back to numbness.
Lately I’ve been struggling a lot with just getting up from bed. I’d come back from work, crash in bed and stay there until like maybe half an hour before I have to go back to work. I eat at work so I’m only getting 1 meal a day, I’ll pee at work and ocasionally once at home if I am able to get up.
I don’t cook, I don’t clean, the only thing I am able to do is make sure my cat is clean and fed. He always has fresh and clean water available, food and his litter box is always clean. I also make sure he gets lots of attention and cuddles but that’s it.
I’ve been late to work every single day for maybe a month now cause I just can’t find the strength to get up. I set up alarms, I take the phone out of the room, I choose a sound I hate, I’ve tried everything but nothing works.
I feel numb and sore all of the time.
I haven’t gone grocery shopping in about 3 months, I get my cats food delivered and that’s it. I’ll eat a sandwich at work and drink tap water every single day.
I stopped showering everyday, I’ve stopped doing laundry and taking out the trash, I haven’t done the dishes in days.
I’ll just stand in the middle of the room frozen thinking “I need to…, I need to…” and then my body just drives itself back to bed.
I don’t know what to do, I’m missing out on so much.

TW!!! Onycophagy and injured fingers!!!
I am so proud of myself. Letting my nails grow has been on my vision board for years, I had tried many things atp and felt hopeless.
I saw no end to it and thought I would never be able to break the cycle. I went through so many relapses.
I felt tired of feeling self conscious, being constantly in pain and unable to do basic tasks like typing, writing or showering.
I am so happy with my progress.
I keep them really short for personal preference, but my nail beds are almost fully healed. It’s been a long journey of garlic polish, wearing gloves almost 24/7 (out of sight, out of mind), chew toys, gum, keeping them hydrated all of the time (the shinier the better cause those dry, white, uneven, thin, hard bits really called my name), keeping a file and clipper on me anywhere I’d go and distractions, lots of them.
You can do it!!!!

Thank you everyone!
Hello everyone! I just started my project yesterday but I’m really struggling to find uses for some products I genuinely don’t like.
For context all of these are makeup products that do not work for my complexion, I don’t have any family members or friends whose skin tones they would favor either and they are too used up to donate.
I don’t want to throw them out either.
They were purchased by a family member that left the country and were gifted to me since she couldn’t take them with her.
They are:
- a foundation that is too orange for my complexion
- two contours also too dark for my complexion (stick and liquid)
- setting powder that is too yellowy and shimmery
Thank you for your tips!
Most of these are products gifted by family members or store samples
I’m excited!
I love film and have always been extremely passionate about it, however I can’t help but feel like my appreciation and understanding barely go beyond surface level.
My love for film and the way it makes me feel and is truly able to move my emotions is anything but basic, but I want my knowledge to be at the same level as my passion.
Gorgeous baby found under a car. Turns out she was pregnant but lost her babies due to complications :(
She loves cuddles and pets, and is the sweetest, most well behaved girl.
I’m waiting for her vaccination appointment to start socializing her with my other cat, but for what I can tell it seems like they’ll get along just fine!
Also, the one direction blanket was an emergency resource but turns out not only she actually loves it but their music too! Her favorite song is Little Things and she also likes Niall’s solo music, especially “Still”
