techworkerscoalition.orgOutlets for tech labor strategy article
Hello,
I'm looking for good outlets for a piece on tech labor strategy based on movement ecology theory (Nunes) and modeled after the "movement intervention" format of the book All In.
I would like to avoid publishing through my org (Tech Workers Coalition) because it contains ideas already going around in my network and I would like to reach a different crowd.
The scope is Europe+USA and the goal is to understand how to mature from the past 20 decades of experimentalism into a healthier and more impactful movement on a global scale.
I already contacted Labor Notes and Jacobin, but without internal contacts, I guess they just don't check.
I would like to ask for good recommendations for outlets that match the following criteria:
* read by veteran organizers
* not focused on critique
* ideally non-American or American but with a global audience (yeah, Labor Notes wouldn't fit in this)
* it's fine if it's not narrowly union-focused or labor-focused, as long as it reaches people active in these spaces
Any recommendation?

open.spotify.com[M]37 Looking for gaming pals with active social life. Survival/Base Builders/Strategy. Starting Palworld maybe?
Hello.
In the past few years I've been struggling to find regular gaming pals. My IRL friends often play games I'm not particularly interested in, or have incompatible schedules. We did a few long Factorio run, but then it ran out of steam.
Online communities have proven very hard to find good pals because the majority of people hanging out there have very different life experiences and it's hard to interact with them: they are often shut in, they play as their main life activity, they have scarce social skills and they are deep into "gamer culture", which I find harder to relate with at this stage in my life. I was like that 15 years ago but grew out of it and I would like to play with somebody who can relate to other humans with an understanding of the outside world.
This reflects on the way and norms used to schedule sessions. Like, I spend quite some time playing videogames, easily 1-2 hours a day, but I can't be available on a whim 24/7. Also, I would like to have interactions and exchanges that go beyond the game itself. The typical gamer pattern of hanging out for months without knowing any details about your life outside feels very depressing.
So if you think you fit, reach out to me ^^
