Casey Killing Chuck

I don't like how Beckman ordering Casey to kill Chuck never came to light.

I don't know if I'd want Chuck to have found out, because then, how could he ever trust either of them again? And it would have ruined the show.

But I, at least, would have liked something from Casey, or even Beckman, expressing relief that they never went through with the execution. Like even a throwaway line from, Casey. He could have easily said, "bartowski. I'm glad I didn't kill you."

Chuck would think of it as just an off remark. But the audience would know that Casey was being serious.

IWTYO when I found this out about Toto Africa song

My entire life, I thought there was a xylophone being played in this song. As well as a flute solo.

Only to find out today, both sounds were made with a synthesizer.

I'm so disappointed. Not sure why, but I am. Lol

I Just Finished It 😭

Somehow, I only watched part of season 1, when it originally aired, and then stopped (i don't remember why).

But a few weeks ago I decided to watch it. When I hit like episode 5 or 6 of s1, I realized I had no memory of anything, so I must have stopped there, back in 07.

I just watched the series finale (literally finished it 5min ago). And now I'm sad.

It's been my nightly binge the past few weeks. Basically watching a few episode every night before bed.

What the hell do I do now? I hate finishing shows. It's like saying goodbye to friends that you'll never see again.

Not the biggest fan of season 4. And I really don't like that they erased Sarah's memory in season 5.

But s1-s3 were epic.

I didn't know about all the craziness that went on with the show always being on the bubble. I looked it up while watching s3, because I was confused as to why i was seeing a season finale type episode in the middle.

Chucks behind the scenes story is crazy. It really was the show that wouldn't die.

And how great was season 3? I feel like there were 4 or 5 finale worthy episodes. And all of them were great!

I just joined this sub (I wanted to wait til I finished the show). And I'm seeing ppl talking about Zach mentioning a movie? That'd be pretty sweet. I know it'll probably never happen. But it'd be awesome if it did.

As long as in said movie, Sarah has her memory back.

Maybe, since Chuck has the intersect again, their kids would inherit some special abilities?

Not for nothing, but of course they had Jeffster play Take On Me in the series finale.

I was already bummed out, because I knew I was ending my time in the Chuck universe. But then they had to go and use THAT song, which make me think of The Magicians and Quentin (iykyk). I get sad when I hear that song.

Anyway, I'm glad I decided to finally watch the show, in its entirety. I loved it!

Miralax Warning

Not saying this will happen to you, but its happening to me, so it's worth a warning.

Miralax has messed with my heart.

Was taking motegrity for 6 months. It helped, but not enough.

Tried adding miralax. Low dose (2 tsp) to start. That first night I had my first heart palpation.

I looked online and saw that this is possible because of how miralax draws water into the colon. It basically pulls water and electrolytes away from other parts of your body.

And I was drinking water heavily to try to compensate. 120oz or more. But was still not enough (I guess).

I should have stopped after day 1. But I didn't. And it was only a couple flutters. And I wanted, so badly, to regulate my bowel movements.

On day 5, I saw my GI. At the time, I'd not had a BM in a couole days, so Dr said to bump up miralax to a full dose, which wasn't even that much more. But that might, the heart flutters were once every couple minutes.

I freaked out.

I called Dr next day and stopped taking miralax immediately.

Over the next 2 days I had 12 bms. Ended up completely dehydrated. And I was drinking electrolytes the entire time.

The weakness and heart palpations got so bad, that I ended up in the ER. I was worried I was having a heart attack.

Thankfully I wasn't.

But this was all a few weeks ago (was in ER on 7/4). And I still have the palpations. They never stopped. So now I'm dealing with all these cardiology tests.

And let me tell you, feeling your heart flutter, even if it's just 30x a day (which apparently isn't a "big deal") is friggin scary.

Again, not saying it will happen to you. But it may. So just wanted to warn people.

Hi. I'm new

I'm new to gastroparesis, not to gut issues.

Celiac diagnosed in 2001. Chronic fatigue in 2005. Ibs-M in 2009. Sibo in 2022.

Did a round of sibo antibiotics in January. Got rid of the sibo, but my ibs-M became ibs-c. And it gave me Abdominophrenic Dyssynergia. So I'm basically distended 24/7

Motegrity since January. Some help, but not much. still getting backed up.

I took the motilicap test a couple weeks ago. 6 hours in stomach. 169 hours total transit time.

Tried adding low dose miralax to motegrity.

Seemed to work... For a week. But then I got backed up again.

Went to GI. Told me to bump up motegrity to 1mg and full dose of miralax.

Well, the next day I got some of the back log out. Pooped like 3x. But I was having chest flutters and air hunger. So I stopped the meds.

But the next day, the rest of the backlog came out. I went 8x. Drank tea and electrolytes all day but still got dehydrated. And chest flutters got real bad. Shortness of breath.

Ended up in ER.

Hearts good. Oxygen is good. They found nothing wrong. So said it was a side effect of the meds.

So now I don't know what to do. I'm trying to war super small, safe meals. But I can't shake this feeling. I'm always distended and it's making me feel like I'm gasping for air. Like I can't talk much. I get out of breath, just from talking.

I don't know what to eat. Don't know what meds to take.

And so far, every Dr I've seen couldn't help me.

I had to beg for the motilicap test.

But now I need to find help.

Was supposed to see new GI today (motility specialist here in north jersey).

But of course, my 4 day block decided to come out at 1pm, when I had a 2pm appt.

And the Dr refused to see me on telehealth, because it was my first appointment.

Me saying I was recently in the ER didn't matter. He made me reschedule for 2 weeks from now.

So now I'm looking for another new GI Dr. Someone who can maybe help me sooner and won't be a dick about telehealth.

It's not like I need a physical exam. I just need someone to tell me what meds to take.

And maybe why motegrity and miralax caused such a bad reaction.

Ok. That's my story. Gut issues suck. Yoid think I'd be used to it after 25 years. But no. Still sucks and wish I was normal.

Jake/Phil

I know Jake is driving the CM, but DC keeps pushing the narrative, that Phil was Jake's mentor. He was not.

Jake was on CM for like 2 weeks.

I'm sure Jake may have looked up to Phil. But obviously Sig would be Jake's mentor.

And the way Jake has been talking about Phil, is how you'd expect him to talk about Sig.

And what's crazy, I feel like they are talking about Phil more this season, than when Josh and Casey were running the CM.

Breast Cancer episode

I have a 24/7 90210 channel that I watch from time to time.

Just happened to be watching it today, and the episode where Brenda finds a lump, was on.

I completely forgot about the episode.

But how ironic is it? that of all the characters that could have gone through it...it's Brenda, who's actor ends up dying from it in real life.

Motilicap Test

Has anyone done this test before? It's a pill you swallow and it's supposed to track your motility. And hopefully give some answers as to why it's too slow or fast.

Wondering if it helped anyone?

I'm taking it on Monday. I'm not looking forward to those 7 days. Can't take any motility altering substance.

So no prokinetic meds. No ginger/peppermint tea. No gas pills. No digestive enzymes. No laxatives. Etc.

I feel like I'm gonna go the next 7 days without a BM, and just painfully bloated/distended the whole time.

But, if it actually gives me answers after 15+ years. It'll be worth it.

Canceled orders of v2 pro

I've read many people say that they were able to place an order for a v2 (or plus). But then the order gets canceled by walmart.

When this happens, does Walmart actually say the order is canceled?

I was able to place an order last night. It was said to arrive today by 10pm. But then at 930 I got an email saying the order had been delayed. But it didn't say canceled.

So I'm just curious if "delayed" really means "canceled"?

To try and avoid more stupid, smart ass comments...

My post is meant to gage others experience. If your order got delayed, did you eventually get it? Or if i should expect for it to be canceled? So unless you've ordered one and it got delayed or canceled, there's no reason for you to comment.

UPDATE: the device just got dropped off. I'm honestly surprised. I was definitely expecting it to be canceled. Glad it wasn't.

Just a Rant

I've been dealing with gut issues since 2001. Done all the normal tests, some of them multiple times. And its lead to nothing.
End of last year, found out I had methane sibo. Xifaxin/neomycin for 2 weeks, then motegrity ever since.
Took another test in April, which said Sibo is gone. And while there are some mild improvement to motility, its still not good, and ive been bloated/distended every day since starting the antibiotics.
According to Ai (and thats what I have to turn to now, because its more helpful than any actual doctor). It says that while the antibiotics helped with the sibo, it also must have messed up my microbiome, which has caused Abdomino-Phrenic Dyssynergia (APD). And that is why im not getting bloated just from eating. im getting bloated from drinking water, brushing my teeth, bowel movements, etc. Anything that causes my digestion to work...i bloat/distend.

Yesterday, I had a perfect BM. But my stomach was still blown up afterwards. So even when i have normal movements, i still spend the entire day uncomfortable (at best). And almost none of my pants fit.
Dealing with IBS and SIBO, I got bloated/distended a good amount. But it was never every waking hour.

And now for the actual reason behind this rant.

I went to a new GI a couple weeks ago. The reason I went to him, is because his office offers the Motilicap test. Its a test I've never done before, so I wanted to give it a shot.
After the appointment, I asked how long before I can do the test? days? weeks?
They said, they just need to get approval from insurance. So maybe a few days. But it was a Thursday, so early the following week.
Ok. I was fine with that. But then the following week comes and goes, and I heard nothing. So I called the office today, only to find out that they've done nothing on their end. They havent contacted my insurance company. They havent reached out to the company that makes the test (its like a camera pill with sensors, btw).
And now. Now that I called and asked what the hold up was. NOW, they say it will just take a couple days, and they should be calling me by Thursday to set everything up.

Im sure its a busy office. Im sure there are a ton of patients. But come on. And maybe another week doesn't seem like much. But when its another week, on top of 25 years...its a lot. 10-15 years of essentially no social life to speak of because of chronic illness. If this test could possibly help me understand what the hell is wrong with me, and maybe even how to get, even somewhat better.
I WANT THE TEST ASAP.

Ok. rant over.

New Phone Cant Set it Up

I am not an "Apple Guy". I just picked up an old iphone specifically for the lidar scanner. I have no other Apple devices.
So here is the deal.
A few months ago I purchased an iphone 12 pro off Woot. supposed to be grade A refurbished, with min 85% batt health. but the health was only 75% so i returned it.
I factory reset the phone before returning. But I did not know I needed to unlink it from the icloud account.
So now, with this new phone, I cant set it up, because it is trying to send a verification code to the other iphone that i dont have.
Also, I used a google number when i set up the first phone. I was unaware that Apple has an issue with this.
So now, I cant do the stupid 2 step verification because I dont have the other phone and google voice wont accept texts or calls from apple security.
And even when i try to log in to my account on my computer, it still requires the 2 step verification. So even on my computer, i run into the same problem.
So i cant unlink the old phone. Cant change the number associated with the account. no clue what else im supposed to do. Any ideas?

UPDATE: in case anyone else runs into this problem. The verification codes sent by Apple, end up in spam text folder on google voice.
