Hey everyone, I’m incredibly late to all of this, but I’ve spent the last few days binge-listening to the Love Trapped Podcast.

My mind is completely blown.

I’m trying to wrap my head around the dynamic with her parents (Jan and Ronn). I genuinely can't work out if they were active enablers who knew about the massive web of lies from the start, or if she is just such a master manipulator that she had them innocently wrapped around her finger. Obviously, any parent wants to protect their kid if they think someone is genuinely out to get them, but this goes so deep.

The audio of the mom speaking to the police during that welfare check was absolutely bizarre. She seemed to wholeheartedly believe every word coming out of her daughter's mouth. But then her immediate pivot to go, "Well, we do a podcast together, in 2018 it was rated top 10 so we’re popular..." was just so odd and jarring given the gravity of what was happening.

For those who have been following this since the early days: what's the general consensus on them? Did the parents finally snap out of it now that criminal guilty pleas are involved, or are they still deep in the delusion?

I am watching the season 14 reunion and I am losing my actual mind. Vicki sitting there as a "Friend of", shrieking at Andy Cohen saying "don't forget where you came from" like he owes her his first born child just because she allowed cameras into Coto De Caza back in 2006, is just too much!

And the backstage drama before she even got on the couch... saying she wouldn't even walk onto the stage if she wasn't sat on the main sofa the entire time? Complaining that Bravo was treating her "like a lap dog"? The entitlement is astronomical.

The funniest part was Steve standing there acting all tough saying, "Let's just go home then," and you could visibly see the panic in Vicki's eyes because she absolutely did not want to go home and lose that camera time! She just wanted to hold the production hostage for her ego.

When she finally gets out there, it’s just non-stop "I started this show, don't forget where you came from!" aimed at Andy. Like... Jesus Christ, lady. Yes, you were the OG, but you were a paid employee who got a massive salary. Andy looks like he wants to swallow his own microphone, but why on earth doesn't he just snap back and put her in her place?!

Why does Andy let her walk all over him here?! You can tell her was uncomfortable and he says to the cast afterwards "I'm just glad Vicki's not here"

Do you think Robert and Debra would have been a better match?

He's a better listener

He appreciates strong women

They seem to have a similar level of maturity

He loved to go dancing and seemed to be much more fun than Ray.

He was amazing with the kids.

Now, I know it wouldn't have worked in the actual show. But generally, do you think they'd have been better suited?

I ordered the DNA testing kit from My Heritage, but the 1 month free trial is now ending before my results are back.

I'm hoping to find my dad, will I be able to do what I need to without a full subscription?

I'm loathe to pay for it, as it is sooo much. But I also really want some clues as to who my father is.

What would you recommend?

If you were watching it as it happened, when did you start to suspect Brooks was lying about his cancer?

I've just watched s10 e11 and when Shannon tells Vicki about the cancer lie rumours, she goes crazy at Shannon and storms off, it is so over the top!! It's actual craziness the way she reacted. Is this when people started to get suspish? Or were there earlier signs of it? Also, the way Shannon is so sure it isn't a lie, is amusing. It must have been great to watch it all unfold without already knowing it was all a lie.

I've just watched Love Stinks and it makes me so sad that Roz doesnt end up with Roger. He was so lovely. I can't remember why it didnt work out in the end, can anyone refresh my memory? I know they broke up because of his job, but they did get back together, I just can't remember what happened.

I just wondered everyone's opinion on Ryeqo. I've been prescribed it but I have put off taking it as I worry about side effects. Can anyone give me any positives/negatives they've had with it? I have endometriosis and adenomyosis, I have had two surgeries for it in the past.

I know its absolutely ridiculous so please don't judge me, but I'm so worried about it causing weight gain. Has anyone experienced this?

I am 40, not sure if that makes a difference.

Thinking about what to do with my children (5 and 6) on monday and wondered if anyone knew whether or not the paddling pool in the park had water in yet?

Hi everyone. Its my mums birthday next sunday (17th) and I'm miraculously child free, so I thought it would be the perfect time for us to go have a peaceful afternoon tea together to celebrate. I've been to Mama Doreens before but not for the afternoon tea (which does look incredible) do you think that would be the best place for us to go, or is there somewhere else just as good/better?
