Emily deserved better. I’m sorry but if they didn’t kill Maya, I would’ve put her with her or at least write a storyline where she met someone later than the other girls (which is ready, relatable and common with gay people) working as a swim coach at competition and fell in love. No wonder why Emily got a divorce who wouldn’t being married to Alison. Also not to mention Alison being attracted to like so many guys and the only woman being attracted to was Emily I’m sorry but what that’s not how it works and I remember other queer people calling this out.
Also, what’s everyone’s opinions on how different the show would’ve been if they stuck to the books and made Emily bisexual. I mean to be honest I think it was great representation making her a lesbian, but also the show did have character who were attracted to multiple genders.
