Hello fellow eczema-havers. Posting about eyelid eczema again.

Anyways, I got prescribed these steroid eye drops and the eyelids were healing so well and nice, then bam day before yesterday I wake up with very swollen undereyes and swollen eyelids, and random red patches near my left eye on the temple. I have no idea why... Eyelid area basically looks red enough to register as fresh sunburn.

Anyways, last night I use my brand new Silk eyemask ( yes, Blissy, expensive , yes but the sleep mask from the store was too slick and sweaty made of polyester). Anyways, I wake up today with much better looking eyelid area, when I expected it to get worse.

I am hoping the eye mask works .:( anyone have any experiences trying to use one ?

Hey had my initial screening at the psychiatrist today and I got diagnosed with Inattentive ADHD. I just wanted to let ya'll know that NVLD was on the screening , which I was pleasantly surprised by, so if you suspect NVLD it is possible it is on more and more providers' radars. I think I mentioned it on my intake form, though.

I still relate to people in this forum , so I will probably still stick around , but just curious if anyone else has been diagnosed ADHD as well.

Prescribed for me to take 3 times a week on top of my Cinbinqo. Anyone take this ? I know nothing about it.

So here I am watching videos on figure collectors, and I AM amazed how many different franchises these people are into...How can they watch THAT many shows ? How can they like THIS much stuff ???

For me, I only really love one anime that I collect things to , and I used to only watch like maybe 5 movies a yearish and maybe 1 new show a year , ocassioanlly I would be on a roll and watch 3 or 4. Same with movies, sometimes I could watch a handful at once. Same with games !!!! Maybe 2 or 3 a year , and I usually only played PS1 JRPGs. With my husband I watch a lot more movies and play a lot more games now which has opened my interests up a bit more, but I do not like any enough to buy merchandise to usually . Otherwise I was just on YouTube a lot and drawing constantly back in the day.

I feel like I just don't have the mental bandwidth to watch a lot. My attention span is super ba with stuff, , I am quick to shut something off ( I can barely make it 5 episodes in ). I also find movies sometimes feel SOOO long, like please movie makers keep things to 90 minutes!!! Games I just struggle a lot with to the point they become not-fun but I can fall into them, but if I start having trouble too much I want to stop for the day.

Anyway, to keep this short I don't think I have ever met anyone this obsessive over one franchise ( I am talking about my fave anime constantly) who is not also very into other shows. For me there is basically only room for one in my brain and heart.

I have been like this with friends as well, only having one or two. It kind of extends into everything.

Struggling with my eyelids bad. Am switching out everything I can . For glasses I know hypoallergenic ones tend to be made out of either acetate or titanium. I know if I wear any jewlery against flared eczema it irritates it but I think metal is worse ? So I am leaning towards acetate.

What do you wear ?

Contacts are not an option because I get ocular herpes occasionally ( more often now )

What I want to kkow :Should I go the the urgent care or just take Valacyclovir ? Do I need to also get eyedrops or not ? Should I bother seeing an opthamologist ASAP? Anyone else with ocular herpes ?

I ocassionally get outbreaks of ocular herpes. It usually only happens every 3-4 years, but since being on medicaiton for my full-body eczema it has occurred more frequently.

The last time I had it I caught it when it was only a spot and just took Valacyclovir I had on hand ..It was fine, but this time it is much worse in terms of hurting, and I have several ' sores/ bumps' extending from the right corner of the eye down into the ' eye bag' area. I was having a bad eczema outbreak and thought the spot on the corner of my eye was just a scratch...Shoulda known better.

I am also afraid of something called eczema herpeticum so I am keeping a watch on to see if it spreads any beyond the eye area.

I also think I need to stop taking my eczema pill ...even if I get crazy itchy until it heals. Because it does supress the immune system. I am reluctant and last time I did not stop my medication, but this time again it is worse.

Should I go to the urgent care , the opthamologist , the dermatologist ? I just don't know....

What the title says ! Ahhhh * screams into void*

Soooo I have a history of my eyelids swelling to the point I have to miss work. It happened all the way back in December to the point I had to stop being on Rinvoq - was also having facial, neck, and arm flares too. The face was getting unbearable.

Soooo now I am on Cibinqo since like February-ish . Around May my neck especially was breaking out bad and my eyelids were often being flaky or red like I was wearing eyeshadow, and arms have occasional breakouts.

So appointment in July I get prescribed Zoryve. I start putting it on every day on the eyelids, some on the face, the neck, and the arms. It does help the neck immensely and the arms .

But July 21st my eyelid swells so bad I miss work ... It eases up after 2 days but flakes like mad. It will heal, then get red and swollen again , then flake , then heal..Cycle never ending. They are pretty swollen today.

I am not sure if the Zoryve is helping or not, but my arms got fresh breakouts too. The Zorvye helps ease the spots on the neck and arms, but not preventing them so much.

I am just tired of the eyelid issues and them being itchy and feeling heavy and sore. I THINK I am gonna stop the Zoryve on the eyelids.

Anyone have any experience with eyelid Eczema on Zoryve ?

Anyone here afraid to drive? I think I may not actually be able to.... I have trouble navigating, get left and right mixed up at times, and feel overwhelmed thinking about keeping track of all those cars... I also just often don't see things in my environment, very tunnel visiony.

I made a post in the NVLD ( Nonverbal Learning Disorder ) subreddit and related to so many people there. I thought I would post here too.

I am getting screened for ADHD , but I know I have to have some sort of directional disorder. It feels like a real disability for me.

I posted about having difficulties driving and while I related to everyone there, when I look up this part of the diagnosis there is just not a fit. I love analyzing the themes of stuff I have read or watched and it seems to come easy to me. So this pushes me more towards ADHD in my mind.

Would just like others to give their background on grasping subtext and enjoying it ...

I am terrified to learn to drive and I think I may have this. Directions and the coordination and the steps it takes in driving. I feel like it is all too much.

I made an appointment to get screened for ADHD soon, but my directional abilties are so bad and I often make mistakes when having to do something complicated.

Just wanting to know if anyone else has not tried driving. It really feels like a true disability even attempting to get in a car. I have only tried driving like 3 or 4 times , but the thought of having to keep track of other cars too is too scary.

This is really one of my biggest issues that feels like a straight up disability. I constantly get left and right mixed up and cannot seem to relate another perspective on a map correctly to myself. Like in video games, I will THINK I am going the right way, but then pull up the map and am going completely the opposite way. I also have a habit of going to the exact wrong door when I walk back into a room from a different perspective. It isn't that big of a deal cuz, video game, but it does lengthen the time I spend playing them and gets frustrating for my husband who is watching me play LOL.

Really this translates to real life too, but I don't drive and I don't go to a lot of new places. If I am in a new place though, I will usually end up lost , but that is not even uncommon among people...

I feel like I can't really keep track of a list of directions either, I just forget. So like go this way, then I am gonna go that way- I am just constantly pulling up the map every two seconds. Thank goodness for GPS . It helped me out a lot when I used to try and walk to new places or take the bus.

Like I actually have a VERY good memory for where things are at my work ( retail) , but I think it is because I am remembering it by objects and not by direction.

Anyone relate?

I just want a fun colorful wig. I shaved off all my hair recently for various reasons ( it was annoying my neck eczema and my hair was also just fried)

I would like a wig to wear for fun , just for a little bit, not necessarily all day but I dunno if synethic is itchier than real hair or anything much about it.

Also would not mind some wig recommendations.
