I'm trying so hard to "accept" my panic attacks, but why is it so hard??????

Hi, I'm 22F and been dealing with panic disorder for 5+ years now. I am seeing a therapist finally, and one of my goals is to "lean into" the physical sensations when having a panic attack. These include heart palpitations, my throat closing, and the feeling of impending doom looming in my mind.

It's hard especially when I reach the "peak" of my panic attack, where it gets to a point when I genuinely cannot catch my breath, I cannot speak, or form a proper though. It lasts only about 30 seconds, 60 at worst, but it's the worst feeling in the world for me. The peak of my panic attacks make me feel like I'm dying.

I am trying especially to do my acceptance tactics when this happens, and I feel so motivated at the idea of it, but when it actually happens I just want to crawl into a small ball and disappear. It's so damn difficult. I am sick of feeling this way.

promoted from wives to mommies of twins 🩵🩷

After Kay and Adeline's babies finally entered this world safe and sound, together they ride the learning curve of what it means to be a parent.

Kay, fresh into the fourth trimester (postpartum), is surprised to find herself struggling to fall into the role of "perfect mother", and is struggling a lot behind closed doors. Adeline, while supporting her recovering wife and new babies, continues to focus on regaining her strength post-chemotherapy.

It's easier some days and harder on others, but together they make sure Henry and Héloïse will grow up nurtured and cared for.

This will probably be their last update, at least for a while, but thank you for tuning into my sims' journey!

My sim had a water birth, and her now cancer-free wife was there to support her through it all 🌊🤍

One wife is pregnant while the other is battling cancer...here's how their story unfolds 🩶

Kay and Adeline's marriage had a rocky start. Not only was Adeline diagnosed with Stage 2 lung cancer on their literal honeymoon , but that's also when Kay found out she was pregnant with their child.

Kay decided to break the news of the pregnancy until after Adeline's second chemo session. Adeline was surprised but took it well, and was very excited to have a baby 🤍

Considering her health and new baby (babies?!!) on the way, Adeline wanted to be as healthy as possible. Without pushing her body too much she exercised, took protein every day, and drank alllll the health smoothies her wife experimented with every morning.

Over the months as Adeline's chemo treatment continued and Kay's pregnancy progressed, only time would determine the fate their family would face.

Sulani honeymoon ends in devastation

My adorable couple (Kay and Adeline) finally married after dating for a few years, watching each other skyrocket in their careers, and adopting a cat ( Ma Ma). They chartered a private yacht and were having the time of their lives swimming, drinking, and woohoo-ing… until one afternoon Adeline collapsed on the beach, where her wife then found and rushed her to the local hospital.

There she was diagnosed with Stage 2 lung cancer, most likely caused by her smoking addiction. They cut the honeymoon short.

The night before going home, Kay was feeling off...she secretly took a pregnancy test, and...well she is pregnant with their baby!

…but now she has no idea what to do 😬

sometimes all your sim needs after their courthouse wedding ceremony is a quarter pounder 🍔

I know it's not a fancy extravagant wedding in a fancy extravagant location, but do not worry, they will be going on a very nice honeymoon in the near future 🌴🍹🌺

accidentally turning into PlantSims on their camping trip might actually be the cutest thing to happen in my game

My sims went on a weekend camping trip to Granite Falls for their 1-week anniversary... they swam, went hiking, and found a tree...It's been a minute so I thought this was the tree to take them to the Sylvan Glade, but surprise surprise they turned green 😂

then later they actually made it to the Sylvan Glade and had a romantic night camping near the water. They went back to Granite Falls the next morning to jet ski in the lake before going home...they will definitely need an explanation before going back to work lol

as a lesbian I am most definitely taking notes from my sims 😂

also this was my first time using the Granite Falls gp (even though i've had it for years) and honestly I really love it! well, minus the peeping bear.

Completely destroyed my moms's only copy of a book she wrote that SHE WANTED ME TO READ, depicting gay people as "unnatural".

I guess this could be considered a mental breakdown of sorts, but it just came to a point where I was filled with so much anger and rage I needed to destroy the book with my own two hands. This book represents everything I hate about my parents (that I still live with btw). They are religious hypocrites who see themselves as "holier-than-thou". Especially how my mom reacted to me coming out to her, and how she has basically ignored that part of me since then which has been over a year now.

Is it weird I didn't throw the scraps away? I put them in a trash bag, but put away in my closet.
