There seems to be a modern trend of describing Anakin/Vader as having a “split personality,” but that really isn’t what the films depict. Vader is an identity Anakin adopts, not a separate personality inhabiting him.
In Empire, Vader explicitly tells Luke “I am your father.” He doesn’t regard Anakin’s life as belonging to some other consciousness; he claims Anakin’s relationship to Luke as his own. Lucas and Lucasfilm describes Vader straightforwardly as Luke’s father.
Likewise, Return of the Jedi has Vader tell Luke that the name Anakin “no longer has any meaning” to him. That’s rejection of his former identity, not evidence of another personality. Luke’s entire strategy is based on the opposite idea: that the same man who became Vader can still choose differently.
Even Charles Soule, discussing his Darth Vader comics, describes Vader’s struggle in terms of letting go of his past and confronting “the thing that he had become” - again, a transformation of the same person, not two personalities.
Anakin and Vader are one continuous person at different stages of moral corruption and self-denial. Calling that a clinical “split personality” is a diagnosis that is never established.

Maybe it's unfair to judge The Griffon Incident too harshly, because we're so used to Trek doing a contained story where everything gets wrapped up by the end. As a horror episode, I actually thought it worked pretty well. It was creepy, different, very visceral and I liked SNW taking a swing at something much, much darker.
That said, some of the character writing felt really odd. Pike basically shrugs off an officer stabbing another officer, La'an is clearly still uneasy but seems to just ignore that feeling, and M'Benga pretty much YOLOs his way through everyone's psychological trauma and ticks the "ready for duty" box.
La'an especially felt strange to me. She's constantly bossing everyone around and somehow seems to know what's going on before everyone else. It makes the episode feel less like an ensemble story and more like everyone waiting for La'an to tell them what's happening. Perhaps this is foreshadowing her "I am superior" Noonien Soong DNA taking prominence...
Then there's the Griffon mystery itself. I don't need everything explained, but after all that buildup I wanted a bit more payoff.
So overall, I didn't hate it. The horror stuff worked for me, and I appreciate them trying something different. It just felt like the episode had a really good idea but some very weird character choices around it.
I'm old school, I wanted a science solution, to the ghost story, perhaps if I'd gotten it I would've been robbed of something.
I guess I'll wait for the Division 12 series...
I've just finished rewatching seasons 8 and 9, and I'd forgotten how fantastic Robert Patrick was, especially in episodes like Roadrunners, Release, Audrey Pauley and 4-D.
Patrick brought something different to the show and became a great partner for Scully. If the reboot happens, I’d love to see Doggett return as a higher-up in the bureau who's made a deal with the devil and helps out due to his burden of conscience or as a shady, off-the-grid survivalist who knows too much and might help whomever continues the search for the truth.

I was surprised to see Adobe showing us a woman, driving whilst on her mobile phone, a behaviour which makes you four times likelier to be involved in a car accident.
Great job Adobe! Can't wait for the next one, perhaps walking along operational train tracks? Sticking a metal fork in a live plug socket? Or how about cleaning your ears with a uranium rod?

It seems the Heroic Thunder Hammer, Storm’s Dominion, can progress the “Instruments of War” ordeal. Kills from the charged shock field it leaves behind appear to count toward the total.

The current endgame armoury is packed with weapons that apply poison, fire DoTs, and “build-up” damage.
The problem is that Funcom still hasn’t scaled DoTs and ability damage to keep pace with endgame health pools. Beyond a certain point, these effects become largely irrelevant. And make skills meaningless.
So why keep introducing new weapons built around mechanics that barely matter in actual combat? Surely the developers can see that, outside of their base weapon damage, these special effects (and our direct damage skills) contribute almost nothing in the current PvE sandbox, and I cannot believe they are intended for use in PvP.
Controversial taking the Defensive augment, I know, I just love an unlimited surge shield charger.

I recently made a post about my favourite occult- themed Who episode - The Curse of Fenric.
I forgot to mention one of the small, but cool tidbits contained in the episode...
Joseph Sundvik a resident of the fictional Yorkshire village of Maiden's Point died in 1872 and was buried in the local graveyard, he was survived by his daughters, Sarah, Jane, Martha and Clara.
Given this episode aired in '89 only one of those names referenced an existing companion, the others, as we know would come in time.
Pretty cool, eh?
Once you create an 'advanced' plastanium tier terminal you should be able to craft all prior material tier items from it too, that you can't is lazy and requires bases to be cluttered with terminals you use for one or two items.
“The Curse of Fenric” is probably my favourite classic Doctor Who story. The occult undertones give it such a creepy, atmospheric edge without ever losing the sci-fi side of things, and the whole WWII setting just adds to the mood. The Haemovore makeup and visuals still look genuinely unsettling, and Fenric himself is a great manipulative villain.

So, since the push for 100k to max post-expedition points landed, I've broken my Bettinas out of mothballs to use for PvE. And, I've got to say I don't understand the hate, these things are superb nowadays!
At IV, with a barrel extender and padded stock the Bettina shreds airborne Arc, capable of destroying Rocketeer engine pods with a few bursts - devastating. Equally effective for large ground targets, the Bettina allows you to strip off legs and armour plating effectively, though it lacks the snappy responsiveness of smaller guns, so surprise visits by Comets and Pops are harder to deal with.
During my sessions with the Bettina, I was attacked by fellow Raiders, I fell back to a medium distance and dominated, again, using the Bettina with controlled bursts gave my assailants nowhere to go and they lost the peek match. I can see a push or CQB being more challenging, and a need to keep folding back to stay at the optimal range for this gun. All of that said the second time I was attacked, at extract on Riven Tides it was close enough for me to mag dump without ADSing, and Mr "Enjoy the Free Kit" left with nothing.
If you've avoided using the Bettina because you've heard how bad it is, invest some resources in her, take her out for a spin around topside, she works best fired in controlled, three-round bursts and with decent stock and barrel mods, take plenty of heavy ammo and some ear defenders, what the Bettina lacks in stealth it makes up for in glorious, booming retorts.
TL:DR - Try the Bettina if it's been awhile, upgrade/mod it, take plenty of ammo, fire in three-round bursts and work at medium range.
What are those nefarious Arc up to? The Arc Turbines appear to be drilling into the surface, are they attempting to destabilise our beloved Speranza?!
