I get lowkey baffled when some people people try to label Bakugou as a trashy character with no improvement.

Note 1: I originally wrote prototype of this post at r/hatethissmug ,but I am writing it here because a lot of people who saw my post did not seemed to understand what I am talking about.

Note 2: If you want to leave comment at this post, please do it AFTER reading everything I wrote.

Note 3: I did NOT created this post to blame people for simply disliking, or having opinions against Bakugou. I only want to blame ones who try to label Bakugou as a "100% terrible character" without any valid canonical evidences.

I'm writing this because I had saw a rant about Bakugou. Yes. It is oviously true that what Bakugou did to Izuku (protagonist) during middle school years was obviously terrible. (He literally told Izuku to go kill himself because he is a looser without superpowers.) If someone justifies behavior like this, (Both IRL and Fictional.) that person do have problems. However, the another thing about Bakugou is that, he start to change himself when he entered U.A academy with Izuku. (I will reference heavy spoilers so if you are still watching the series, be careful!!)

>!Before All Might’s fall, Bakugou believed that he was perfect. However, when All Might had lost all of his powers in exchange of defeating All for one, , he started to question his strength, and capability as a hero. If he did not got captured by LOV, All might’s end may had not came that quickly. His guilt is shown very well what he tells Deku right before he duels him at manga chapter 118. He shouts like this: "Why I had became the reason of the fall of the All Might?" This scene shows that Bakugou was feeling extreme guilt about the fact that All Might had used up all power because he had got kidnapped by Villains. Also, after the duel, Bakugou and Izuku managed to have a calm conversation about how Izuku had used his fighting techniques during the duel. (If Katsuki still saw Izuku as an ignorable dweeb like he did during middle school years, he may just told him to shut up.) These scenes shows that entering U.A academy, and competing with Deku had started to change Bakugou's mindset about how he should behave. Also, as the series continues, Bakugou shows more and more kind and heroic behaviors. When Deku got almost got pierced by Shigaraki Tomura's attack, Bakugou literally threw his body at the attack, saving Deku. When Deku left U.A Academy during the war, he had participated at Uraraka's plan to bring Izuku back to the school, and SINCERELY apologized about every bad deeds he had done to Deku. During Final war, with help of Izuku, Bakugou had saved All Might, who had almost got killed by All for One. He had paid his debt for All-Might, who had saved him and sacrificed himself during the Kamino Arc. Finally, when the Manga had entered the epilogue, Bakugou had tried to provide Izuku a support, so he can return to hero work. Among all people who donated their money at the production of Deku's powered suit, Bakugou had donated most money. Also, it is also implied that Bakugou had tried to suggest him to work with him at his hero agency. !<

(To add on I am saying this whole thing as a person who prefers Deku x Ochaco over Bakugou x Izuku, and loathes some zealous Bakugou stans who misuse him to bash other characters, such as Ochaco."

Like this, I believe that there are plenty of canonical evidences, which shows that Bakugou had managed to grow up as a decent person, through lessons he learned from various events he experienced. Yes, I can get that some people can still don't prefer him, or think he needed better writing. However, I get baffled when some folks try to label him as a "Trash" even though he do have good qualities and showed heroic behaviors. (I honestly feel like it is pretty similar to clueless character slanders Deku and Ochaco had went trough during 2024, which gave them total baloney labels, such as "Macdonald worker looser" or "Greedy gold digger.")

It was an long rant... thank you for reading.>!!<

Did anyone else got annoyed by excessive Xenophobic jokes/posts? (Long vent!!)

I may be too sensitive, but I recently got bit disturbed by the fact that there are fairly huge amounts of Xenophobia going on internet, especially targeting countries like France. You know, jokes like fr**ch or stuffs like that. At first I thought it is not really a big deal, but I recently started to notice that “French” itself had been the center of circlejerking and mocking of country related posts. (Even though I am not French nor European.) And a lot of them were acting like France itself is extremely abominable thing. So, I started to get a feeling that it is actually a xenophobic behavior, not just a joke. Sure, you can blame actual war crimes, colonizations and obvious social problems of France, but I don’t get why a lot of French people/France related things gets this intense amount of blame because they are not all bad. (Actually, I think a lot of them are good!!) Some may come with arguments like “But aren’t French people suuuper rude?“. Then all Irish/Scottish people are alcoholic and tough? Nope. All Italians are related to mafias and throw temper tantrums about food? Nope! All East Asian youths are teacher’s pet who are very academic, and good at classic instruments? Nope!!! ( I’m East Asian myself and trust me, I totally suck at instruments, and not a perfect student like how media depicts East Asians.) Yes. Rude people exists in France. But they do not represent all 69 million people in France. (And 30 - 40 million of their descendants.) These shit talks and overly repeated humors have not much difference with racist/xenophobic humor comics (Which were common trough out 19th-20th century.) which are now shown in textbooks as “The history we should not repeat.” Too add on, other countries are also being targeted too. I saw some posts overly romanticizing (Or even fetishizing) Asia and its people. Also I heard that some people are getting bullied just because they came from controversial countries. So, what I want to say is, I wish people don’t be xenophobic to anyone on internet, and don’t consider any types of discrimination as light thing they can joke about.

p.s: If you came here to write anything xenophobic on comment section, just go away.

Bashing straight ships and Bashing queer ships are both cringe. I'm so stressed about how many people are not aware about this.

Alright I will get into bullet points quickly. As a person who enjoyed shipping in MHA community (Which became extremely infamous for people fighting over ships.) I quickly noticed that queer ships (Such as Bakugou X Izuku) are both famous and hated among fans. To be honest, I used to have bias against these ships. But as I stayed longer and longer in fandom. I found out that queer ships are not the problem. In fact, they can be pretty nice! Also, I found out that people who like queer ships can face harassments and attacks even though they did nothing wrong. (It also made me to relieze that people who likes my OTP Izuocha are not perfect angels. In fact, some of them can be very rude!) So, I decided to follow, "Let people ship what they want!" mindset. However, I also found out that het ships and shippers can get clueless blames too. For examples, when I searched Izuku X Ochaco related contents on X, I found out that some people are saying things against Izuocha and giving it bad lables. Also, I saw Izuocha shippers complaining about bad treatments they get for liking Izuocha. I mean..It is okay to not like Izuocha, but it is unnecessarry to cause conflicts like this. So, my conclusion is, just love what you want! Shipping is not a matter of which sexuality is better. It's an matter of emotion, chemistry and development!

I’m a Korean parachute kid who attends American boarding school. AMA :3

To clarify the term, parachute kids are kids who live/study at overseas without their parents or original guardians. There is no way I can represent all parachute kids, but I can give you guys some glimpses of my life, and some traits of mine. So let’s talk together!!

I’m starting to get tired of all the conflicts and fusses related to shipping.

Yes. Ya’ll may heard a lot of complaints like this, but I’m posting this because I think problems are not ceased yet. As a pretty enthusiastic shipper myself, I was able to see a lot of people who are actively expressing hatred to other ships. To be honest, I used have pretty similar mindset with these people. (Even though I did not shouted out my thoughts to other people.) For example, when I saw BakuDeku/ Togachako posts, I thought “Erg, these people are weird. Izuocha’s superior!!“ But as I kept spending time on shipping forums, my thought started to change. I saw that Izuocha shippers can be jerks too. (As a Izuocha shipper myself, I was very disappointed to see it..) I also started to think that bashing other ships is offensive, and ruin reputations of ships, which does not have problem by themselves. To add on, these things can be led up to things like hate speech, which definitely morally wrong. So, all these stuffs led me up to one conclusion. People don’t need to be a fan of all ships, but people need to respect people who have different preference on shipping. (Unless that person is expressing their thoughts in inappropriate way, such as bashing other ships.) But the problem is that a lot of shippers are unaware of this rule… Fighting will not help anyone, It will just hurt people. I know that we can not control our initial thoughts, but nothing can justify us from being hateful bullies!! So, I will beg all people who are reading this post. Never step into ship bashing and bullying. If you already doing these things, please stop!!
