Wanting Wavy Hair Help-turn to curly?

Hello all! I am wanting to make my more wavy hair curly. You can see the front of my face is definitely more loose wave and the back (especially under) is tighter.

My routine: This was done by using whatever the people’s dogs I am watching had in their shower. Some color shampoo from Pantene and I also used a Dove intensive mask as conditioner. I also used a bit of pureology 21 essential benefits leave in spray on wet hair and I let air dry (also slept in wet, whoops)

I usually won’t blow dry unless I plan on styling it with hot tools. I do have a good amount of hair. Also thought it might be worth mentioning I live in a humid area in the mid west.

Looking for moving help

Hello, all! I will be moving in December and am looking for a few people that would be willing to help pack this sh*t to the Uhaul.

I’ve been getting estimates around here at a few companies and was wondering if anyone had maybe any personal references or people that may just be looking for a little extra cash.

With the amount of things I have (small 600sq for house) the professional movers seem to think it can be done in 2 hours.

Any suggestions?

Tongue Sticking Out Constantly

Please tell me I’m not alone on this one.

Even as a kid I was seen with my tongue out. I have so many photos where I have my tongue just ever so slightly hung out of my mouth and now as an adult (35) ITS HAPPENING ALL THE TIME. Not just when I’m really concentrating which I know is normal, but always. Just when I’m sitting on the couch watching TV. Just ALL THE TIME. I feel like I look reaaaallllllyyyy dumb and I don’t know how to stop it without being completely aware of it all the time.

Is it anyone else? Is it just an ADHD thing?

ULPT:Copy of College Class Schedule

Soooooo I have a student ID with no expiration date on it but no class schedule. I’m trying to use it to get a discount at a yoga studio but I guarantee they are going to want a class schedule AND the ID

Any suggestions? Anyone wanna throw me a copy of their semester schedule? I HIGHLY doubt this hole-in-the-wall studio would call and verify anything.

Keeping it together

My partner and I have been doing LD since December 2025. We’ve always been long distance, so this isn’t a new thing for us. I live in Indiana and he’s in Washington. Flights are getting more expensive, it’s not exactly a few hour drive, and the distance is beginning to weigh on us.

We have plans of moving in together in December and are making these soft plans now. We’ve seen each other in person 4 times now and are hoping to see each other at least 2 more times before the
move. He’s been wonderful the entire time validating and supporting me through the hard times and how difficult it is to be without my partner IRL. I have my moments of doubt that mostly I won’t be able to make it through, but I truly do want to make it work and finally be together full time.

My question is since the finish line is relatively close and we may not see each other a lot until then, how do I keep it together? How do we keep it fun and interesting and the spark alive?

Flying with my dog for the first time

I would love some advice or tips to make this a smooth trip. It will be a 4 hour flight and she will be under the seat, not in cargo.

Best Way to Feed

I am trying to figure out the best way to feed my girl. We’ve always eaten out of a bowl and I usually cut her loaf with a knife into small(ish) squares but lately I’ve found she’s having trouble getting them. She has no teeth, vision is going, but very good appetite.

Plates don’t seem to work because everything slides off and she has a hard time getting it. Today I tried dumping the food on a puppy pad, but now it’s all over the kitchen floor and I’m not the type that wants to mop EVERYDAY.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

16 year old becoming almost insufferable

I’m probably going to get a lot of hate for this message, but not a whole lot of people I know could understand.

I love my girl. I’ve had her since she was 7 weeks old. We’ve been through everything together. I’ve had her my entire adult life. Been through divorce, countless moves (5 being cross country), different boyfriends, all of it. She’s always had MAJOR separation anxiety. She will bark for hours on hours if I leave, she will pace back and forth in the house and never lay down until I return. She is getting to where she won’t use the bathroom outside unless I really force it on her. She won’t go in the grass, but will poop on the patio, and it takes forever for it to happen. If I miss the window or think she’s gone and she hasn’t, she will poop in the house and track it throughout the entire house. I cannot put her in a kennel because she has kennel anxiety, and I don’t feel like coming home to a dog covered in sh*t more than I already do. If I go out of town for vacation or to visit my bf, I have to find someone to watch her in my house because I don’t think she’d make it at a kennel (again, kennel anxiety). She would bark all day, and I worry about people being mean to her or her stress levels being so high she might literally keel over. Every time I return from being away, I pick her up and she feels lighter, almost like she’s lost weight since I’ve been gone. The last 2 times I had to leave, I’ve noticed this. She is so very high maintenance that I only can rely on a few people to keep her, and now those numbers are dwindling because she is so difficult. I can’t even be upset with people because they come back to poop caked into the hardwood flooring, and they have to scrub on their hands and knees to clean it. I’m sure some dementia is creeping on, but to be honest, she’s always been this way. The older I get, the more frustrated I become. I find my patience becoming thinner and thinner, the more and more time goes on, and I’m running out of options. I try to take her to the groomer once a month, at least, to keep her short and her nails done, but even the groomer is noticing her becoming more difficult. She will put her in the kennel and come back to her covered in her poop. I keep her locked in the kitchen so she doesn’t have the chance to run back and forth throughout the whole house when I’m gone, but I feel like I’m CONSTANTLY cleaning up dog crap off the floor and off of her.

I feel guilty for coming home and being immediately upset with her. I feel guilty that I’ve thought about giving her up, but I would never. I feel guilty for feeling trapped in a situation that I don’t know how long will continue. I feel guilty for asking people I love to take care of her while I’m gone. I’m angry because I can’t walk into the house without having to clean up a mess, and then guilty again for leaving. The countless times I’ve cried, screamed, and bargained is crazy.

I love her and can’t imagine life without her. I am going to miss her so much when she’s gone, and some days I hope it’s soon, and others I hope it never happens. These constant conflicting feelings are driving me crazy, but when I got her 16 years ago, I said it would be until the end, and I meant it.
I feel like a monster because I’m tired, stressed, can’t do anything without fear that she’s going to die from stress, crap in the house, become sick, or whatever might happen that I can’t even think of at the moment. I don’t know why I’m making this post exactly—possibly for suggestions, solutions, or just for someone to confirm that I am indeed a monster—but I feel like I’m losing it more and more every day in this situation.
