I’m so curious how you guys got creative with your streamer names!

I’m a fairly new game streamer, I currently stream OW and love every second of it!, and from my viewers requests I will be streaming RDR2 on the weekends in the evening. For my OW fans I’m a Cassidy main and I’m pretty okay at him 😂 my name is ColorMeSilent which is a play on Color Me Impressed. The only difference is I’d like people to have no impression of me until the see my stream/ gameplay lol it also comes with a cool logo too! Not asking for follows I enjoy the community aspect and want to work hard to find people who actually enjoy my stream so here’s a formal invite to everyone reading this! I’m an Overwatch fanboy lmao I know I know very saturated but I truly enjoy streaming and that game brings the best (and worst) out of me while streaming. My question is what are your games of choice? And would it be a good idea to stream story based games every now and then or is it better to stay consistent? Thank you guys! It has been an amazing journey and I’m loving all of the knowledge!

I see a lot of people asking for you to view their streams and not asking the right questions, what content do you guys enjoy watching? I feel personality is the no.1 factor in a streamer doing well but how can you promote yourself with no personality?, so Hey guys! I’m ColorMeSilent and I stream Overwatch Tuesday’s - Fridays at 7pm( sometimes earlier) and the weekends I mostly stream Overwatch as I love the abilities and flexibility of characters, I also love to stream story games on Fridays! Right now I’m streaming Infamous the second son play through! My goal in streaming is to get about 50 viewers and then raid a channel with 1-3 viewers and make their day lol give them a bit of hope you know? Well that’s me and it’s nice to meet you!! Recently I’ve been wondering about engagement and I’ve been getting some while streaming to TikTok (I stream to TikTok, Twitch and kick at the same time) i usually play Overwatch i really love playing it but I see what people mean about discovery on Twitch it’s much harder lol I was hoping anyone knew of any niche games that are similar to OW or even good story games that would help with more engagement! Hey everyone!

Like the title says this is an update on my stream journey so far! Long story short… I LOVE IT!! Man has it been so empowering! I’ve always been afraid of being on camera and hearing my voice i always thought I wasn’t entertaining at all on my own and now I feel so amazing when I’m streaming like I’m finally doing something that’s actually helping my anxiety. i legitimately feel so great about it. Currently after the first week of streaming Overwatch i average 1-2 viewers and usually end up chatting with myself lol but i really love this and I can’t thank all of you guys in this sub enough! on my last post about streaming you guys gave me the tough love i needed to break out of my shell, so thank you guys! I’ll give you an update on my 1 month journey!!

Had a bit of an epiphany today lol I’m a big advocate for Overwatch 2 but I know it’s a bit saturated at the moment, do you guys stream multiple games throughout a week of streaming or are you on and off of different games weekly/monthly or do you exclusively stream 1 game to maintain a building community even with over saturation? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
