Which is the real customary tradition?

Aang was taught to choose his bison himself, while Opal was told it’s the bison that chooses their companion.

It might just be because different times have different teachings, but isn’t the air nation known to be extremely conservative? (Making very little change involving traditions, regardless of time passing?)

Petition to bring back Minecraft series.

I know this is a bit over discussed, and the chances of it returning are very unlikely, but honestly, who doesn’t want this series back?

Cory might not be a pro at this game, but watching his play through was really wholesome and enjoyable. The way he struggles to achieve several skills, his uplifting reaction to various events (reminding us of how we use to play Minecraft our first time), and his overall progression in each episode (slow, but commendable).

Edit: This is just a theory, but chances are he’s not able to access Minecraft anymore due the that 2023 announcement that required all players to switch the game, from their mojang account to their Microsoft account (since he’s not very active in the Minecraft franchise, he probably didn’t hear about it in time).

Ok, why was this part cut out??

I remember watching this video years ago, and it showed him playing the Gear level completely. Now it’s cut out until the ending for some reason.

I understand YouTube is becoming more strict with Copyright violations, but does this one even apply??

It’s just a Geometry Dash level, which he made plenty of. Furthermore, there are still dozens of YouTube videos showing the Gear level being played (Mostly by random YouTubers who don’t even play Geometry Dash anymore).

Misty’s long awaited goal for catching a Corsola.

4 whole episodes spent trying before a successful capture.

Reminder that Dawn helped inspire a new move that Ash, along with his rivals would use worldwide.

This move really expresses Ash’s battling style of “Offense is the best defense”.

Interestingly, the first and last time it was used was by a water type against a Gengar.

Ash’s ultimate contest team.

We often try to build Ash’s ultimate team in a battle focused setting, but what about his ultimate team as a coordinator?

Since Ash competed in contests twice, and demonstrated that he isn’t novice at this field, I tried to imagine what his full team of 6 would be:

Pikachu: This is a no brainer; His number one partner, who competed in contests before, and earned enough praise from the judges to move on to the final round.

Buizel: Another obvious choice for several reasons; He already had experience in contests when Dawn was his trainer, was highly recommended by Wallace himself, and competed in the Wallace cup with Ash, demonstrating their skills in this field.

Hawlucha: He’s not just your everyday fighting type who constantly tries to prove his strength through tough training; This Pokemon lives to be flashy, like a professional wrestler (everyone remembers when Serena made him that flashy costume in the Kalos league).

Leavanny: A really graceful fighter with a well compatible move-set. It can definitely appeal to the judges in contest battles using String Shot to trap opponents, and dodge attacks effortlessly. One thing I would change though, is replacing its Razor Leaf move with Leaf Storm to further enhance its grass type visual presentations.

Incineroar: Probably not the first pokemon you think of for contests, but he’s very qualified; Just like Hawlucha, Incineroar gained experience fighting in a wrestling match, demonstrating his brute strength and resilience using awesome fire type moves. Darkest Lariat especially, is a flashy and intimidating move that could offer a mind blowing end in a contest battle.

Dragonite: She’s a strong battler (being one of his journey’s team), with an impressive move-set that gives her much potential in contests. Hurricane and Dragon Dance are enough to make it pass the preliminary rounds, and the way it utilizes Draco Meteor would also make any contests battle have a mind blowing end.

How far do you think Johness would make it in the heavens arena?

It’s unlikely he’ll make it to the 200th floor without learning Nen, and he did lose to Killua before he even learned Nen. However, he has a big reputation as a serial killer, and can intimidate possibly any other non nen user.

Lycanroc was more than just Ash’s regional ace, it had a strong connection with him from day one. Dogs truly deserve the title: Man’s best friend.

The 4 nations have benders, but only a select few have managed to not only master their technique, but take it to its fullest purpose (based on their cultural lifestyles). Here’s what the other 3 mastered based on their lifestyles and the original benders.

For earthbending, they live by the principles of becoming “one with the earth”. The badger moles utilize this technique, not just as a martial art, but to interact with the world. Toph unlocked this technique with her unique seismic sense, that lets her sense even the smallest vibrations in milliseconds (and took it a step further in the legend of korra, by using the Banyan-grove tree to observe the world continents away). In conclusion, the mastery of earth bending is Seismic Sense.

For water bending, they live in a society most tied to spiritual energy (after all, the original water benders came from the spirit world). Their teachings involve controlling the flow of water, and using an opponent’s attack against them. Unalaq unlocked this technique by bending spiritual energy (before even becoming a dark avatar), allowing him to influence the conditions of all living things.

For air bending, they live by the ideology to isolate themselves from worldly desires, to achieve freedom and enlightenment. Both Guru laghima and Zaheer unlocked this technique, by literally detaching from the ground and flying in the air (similar to Bisons, who are the original airbenders that fly with no wings).

For fire bending, it’s hard to tell what their ideal society is; the fire nation has been too industrial & war driven, while the sun warrior tribe didn’t get enough screen time (all I know is they hold deep respect to dragons). Their bending comes from the breath, and is meant to be recognized as energy (like the sun). There hasn’t been any fire benders who truly unlocked the cultural lifestyle of it (lightning and combustion bending just seem like different forms of the same material), so what do you guys think would be the ultimate technique of fire bending? (Cause the original fire benders don’t do anything special past flying and breathing fire in different colors).
