We already saw him beat Team Avatar at their prime; even going so far as to almost kill them.

He fought a close battle with Aang in his avatar state. While he did win because Aang got emotional, it was still closer than anything the red lotus accomplished when Korra was in the avatar state.

His Airbending in general is out of this world, being able to crush several metal air ships, simply by using the wind.

Zaheer mainly relies on dodging his opponent’s attacks in the sky before dealing a devastating blow, and while that works out for him against most benders, fighting someone as trained and maneuverable as Tenzen makes him fall hard.

P’li is probably the most vulnerable one; She always relies on being far from her opponent’s reach, so she can snipe them with her combustion technique (if simply covering her head with metal was enough to make her blow up, Tagah could most certainly make a force field made of air around her to turn her technique against her).

Both Ming Hua & Ghazan heavily rely on ideal environments, but ultimately, they’d be defeated quickly. Ghazan is mainly a threat because he is always bending something no one else can; Compare him to other earth benders who are in tone with their element like Toph, he wouldn’t stand much of a chance. Ming Hua might actually put up a better fight than Ghazan or P’li.

Overall, I think Tagah would beat them faster than he did with Team avatar. Thoughts?

The Pokémon anime made regions inspired by 5 countries so far (Japan, America, France, England, and Spain), yet we only see people speaking one common language (some used French and Spanish phrases, but very few times without even forming a sentence).

Why would Rotom need this feature, if there is no proof of anyone speaking something else?

I understand it’s just a show, and removing a language barrier is more convenient, but at least acknowledge their existence properly (several anime shows such as Death Note, AoT, and MHA point out the existence of other languages).

I have a whole group of Pokemon for the little cup league; I reserve that league for 1st stage mons only, to give them opportunities to battle, since they can’t reach enough CP to compete in standard leagues.

I don’t have much qualifications, just that they have minimum 2 star appraisal, can reach the exact maximum CP limit so choosing a team is random, and overall Pokemon I enjoy having.

It’s widely believed & accepted that Thaedus was planning on killing every Viltrumite left, including Nolan, his sons, and even himself.

He instructed Allen in his final message to use the Scourge Virus to wipe out every remaining Viltrumite, regardless of what it could do to humanity. Allen was initially up for it despite the billions of people that could die, and didn’t hesitate to imprison Nolan for trying to stop him.

However, the fact that he didn’t kill him, and felt guilty when Mark got infected got me thinking:

What would Allen have done if Thaedus announced he was going to kill them after he was done with Thragg’s army?

Nolan and Mark are some of his closest friends, and it’s more than likely he was planning to spare them after using the virus, but what if Thaedus was still in charge and targeted them next? Would Allen remain loyal, or actively try to oppose his choice?

I can understand everyone else’s frustrations from the previous series, but Goh’s was the least valid IMO.

Ash mentioned he wanted to start a new journey after becoming the champion, and Goh accused him of betraying their friendship for wanting to travel alone (like what the heck?).

First off, is he forgetting that he and Ash live only one town away (walking distance mind you), and they could always visit each other after each journey? (That’s something most of his other companions didn’t have).

Didn’t he and Ash depart ways before? They did it to accomplish their own objectives, and were in a similar situation right now (only difference is the length of time which they have an infinite amount of).

He met several of Ash’s former companions, couldn’t he see that despite not traveling anymore, they maintained a close friendship?

I get that he might miss being a full time companion, but it wasn’t a permanent goodbye (he didn’t even bother asking if he could tag along in his next journey, like the others did).

This was bothering me for years; Why would they leave behind the last jar? They were clearly waiting for it until it was full, and just completely ignored it.

Lugia & Groudon are GBL caught btw.

He casually travels the world as Ash’s research friend, only to be dragged into these strict battle evaluations, and be told he lacks what it takes to help him get stronger.

Glad he kept it real and said he’s not some side character tasked with helping Ash; He’s his own main character with his own story to follow.

They really said “every man for himself”, but Ash lost his chance.

Living with her self-centered sisters was exhausting, but it taught her how to overcome family problems such as those.

This might be an over discussed topic, but not without good reason. The Masters 8 was a major point in the anime, that had very mixed feedbacks from the fandom. I’m probably going to start a power scaling war, but at this point, it’s just a common habit from this fandom (Be prepared):

1. Ash: Very little needs to be said; He won the championship, and his entire team had major milestones.

2. Leon: The guy was world champion for 10 years straight.

3. Cynthia: Her team was composed of absolute beasts; Her Garchomp is in its own league, Spirit Tomb was a menace, and Togekiss was ruthless.

4. Steven: His Mega Metagross was an absolute unit during its debut; Managing to land an attack on Primal Kyogre alone was impressive, but shrugging off two of its attacks and continuing to fight? That kind of endurance could only be beaten by 10 million bolt thunderbolt. Furthermore, his Aggron defeated Ash’s Dracovish, who had incredible feats in this tournament.

5. Diantha: Most of her team is kind of mid, but Gourgeist & Gardevoir were heavy hitters. Gourgeist single-handedly defeated Lance’s Gyrados (who gave Leon’s Charizard a hard time a while ago), and Mega Gardevoir stood up to Leon’s Gigantamax Charizard better than Alain did.

6. Alain: I don’t understand why some fans try to rank him last, or claim he was nerfed/weakened after XY. Becoming one of the Master’s 8 is a huge improvement, and his Charizard managed to one shot Leon’s Rilaboom (one of the main MVPS) in its base form.

7. Lance: A well accomplished trainer, who holds the title of regional champion in Kanto & Johto. His battle with Leon was intense, and really showed how far he came from just being an Elite 4 member. Unfortunately, his ace was quickly defeated by Diantha’s Gourgeist (who was easily beaten by Leon’s Rilaboom), putting him below Alain.

8. Iris: Her battle with Cynthia was incredible, especially for someone who doesn’t use any gimmicks, but aside from her Haxorus, there’s really nothing else to help her scale higher than the others.

Thoughts?

The dude is a nerd, and is studying the same courses as her. He didn’t seem to have any bully problems back then, so there’s really nothing distracting him, or holding him back.

He’s overqualified, has decent free time, and still doesn’t try to tutor her? Genuinely, what’s his excuse?
