Testing To See If The Smallrig Stabilizer Arm Is Effective Minimizing Jitter/Bobblehead Movements

Hey everyone, If you've ever experienced jitter or the bobblehead movement with action/pocket cams, there's one device that easily fixes that. In this video, I review the SmallRig Handheld Stabilizer Arm. I test it with the Insta360 X6, Pocket 4P, Luna Ultra, and the Mission 1. Would you ever consider using a stabilizer arm for action or pocket cams?

Pocket 4/4 Pro Update You’ve Been Waiting For (240fps LOG!)

Hey everyone, DJI released their newest update for the Pocket 4 and Pocket 4P today. If you wanted to see what all was changed, I made a video going through the different changes to show you what to expect. The headlining update, of course, is that 240 FPS log now available within both the 4 and the 4P cameras, which is an excellent addition in my opinion to the camera, which I provide several examples of along with the other updated features. I hope this helps clear up the changes for people looking for real world examples.

DJI Pocket 4 P Review — Compared to Luna Ultra (Base ISO, Tracking, ND Filters)

There's been a lot of debate over which is actually the better camera, the Pocket 4 Pro or the Luna Ultra. I made a full review comparing the two, focusing on real-world user experience and actual results rather than spec sheets.

One of the many things covered is the ISO performance across the range in D-Log 2 to see if the claimed 1600 native ISO on the Pocket 4 Pro actually holds up, along with a bunch of other tests.

Curious what this sub thinks — what else would you want to see compared between these two? And if you've used both, which one do you actually prefer overall?

Insta360 Luna Ultra: 30 Days Later (Is It Actually Fixed?)

I spent 30 days with the Luna Ultra to make this review. Since I picked it up after the camera's initial launch, almost all the footage was shot on either the beta firmware or the most recent official release. In the second half of the video, I do some comparisons to see what Insta360 actually fixed with this update — including whether the auto-ISO issue in I-Log still persists. I hope you all enjoy this review, as I spent many hours filming and editing it.

GoPro Mission 1: One Month Later – Honest Review

The GoPro Mission 1 is an almost perfect release from GoPro, after owning it for a month, I have some thoughts on what it does right and where it can improve. What do you think the Mission 1 does right, and where would you like to see the camera improve through firmware updates or future iterations?

This Update Makes Mission 1 Footage Look SO Much Better

After watching ChrisMeetsChris’ video mentioning Mission 1’s newest GP-LOG2 LUT — created by Abe Kislevitz — that brings the cinematic look from the normal preset over to GP-LOG2, I thought I’d test it out in Vancouver during the Sweden vs. Canada chaos in Vancouver last week. I have to say, I’m loving the range this log format gives you, and I think it’s a pretty decent starting point for a grade.

Have you tried the LUT linked below? If so, how do you think it compares to the release LUTs?

Insta360 Made a Pro Mic… and I Wasn’t Expecting This

After using the Mic Pro for several weeks on the latest firmware, I created this video to give an honest review of the Mic Pro in various recording settings. I include untreated indoor tests, windy bike tests, and outdoor tests in a nature reserve with straight out-of-mic raw audio, as well as Davinci Resolve processed audio. I hope you like this one, as I dedicated quite a few days to its production. Anyway, thanks for your time.

GoPro Mission 1, Action 6, Ace Pro 2 - 8K Comparison And Overheat Test

I just recently released a video comparing the 8K to the 4K, plus overheating tests using the Ace Pro 2, GoPro’s Mission 1, and the DjI Action 6 based on a user’s request. I have side-by-side comparisons of all cameras in those 4K and 8k modes to easily show the difference between all cameras mentioned. In the description of the video, I also have JPEGs available to download directly from my DaVinci timeline for comparison if you feel YouTube compression is degrading the quality. Is there anything else you’d like tested between these three action cameras? Thanks for your time!

GoPro's Mission to Kill the DJI Action 6 (Non-Sponsored)

I've had the GoPro Mission 1 that I bought myself for a few days now, and since receiving it, I've used it alongside my Osmo Action 6, comparing them side by side. I'm mainly sharing what I found that I think is a useful difference to mention, rather than anything too technical, since that information has been out for over a month now. If you want an honest comparison between both cameras, I think you'll find it in this video. Thanks for your time!

Insta360 GO Ultra Photography Test - The Review Nobody Made

Since the GO Ultra was released, the photography mode has been ignored when it comes to reviews or thorough overviews of the photography features within this camera.
In this video, I share the differences between 12.5 megapixels vs. 50. I also share what was changed in the recent firmware update, with changes to portrait mode and all the recently updated film looks within the camera.

If you’re curious how this performs using the micro lens kit or just simply with the standard lens alone, I think you’ll find this video of value to you.

DJI Action 6 New Firmware - Investigating the 1:1 FOV Changes

DJI recently released an update for the Action 6, but there’s a lot of confusion about the changes. Specifically, people are confused about the 1:1 change in the field of view and the addition of AI highlights. In this video, I compare before-and-after shots of the FOV, and I also get some clarification from DJI staff about my findings. I’ll also explore the usefulness of the highlights feature alongside the other new updates.

I hope this clears up any confusion you might have!

Which Tiny Camera Is Worth It in 2026 (GO Ultra vs Osmo Nano)

After weeks of shooting in countless different conditions, I’ve released my comprehensive Insta360 Go Ultra vs DJI Osmo Nano comparison video. In this video there are plenty of side-by-side comparisons showing mostly straight out of the camera how these cameras handle auto ISO and also auto white balance. This video also includes night comparisons, a user experience review, overheating tests, mic tests with a DJI mic, and internal microphones submerged in water, also tested in windy conditions. I also offered side-by-side comparisons of slow motion, comparing the 2.7K 120fps vs the 4K 120fps, among many other tests. The video is fully timestamped if you want to fast forward. Thanks for your time — I wish you the best finding the right camera for you.

Pocket 4 vs Action 6 — It’s Complicated (Non-Sponsored)

After using and reviewing the Action 6 likely more than any other reviewer on YouTube, today I compare both the Action 6 up against the Pocket 4 and share comparisons in a variety of situations and testing environments. In this video, I test the log and normal colour profiles and auto settings, slow motion, built-in mic tests, comparison of 2X lossless modes, and many other things. I have the video time-stamped, so you can jump to a particular section if you want.

Thanks in advance, I hope this is helpful for a few of you out there who can’t decide.

After paying for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 and now using it for two weeks, I have some things I’ve noticed that could possibly be deal breakers for some users, like flickering in DLOG, overheating concerns, to handicapped settings within certain video/photo modes. I made this video filled with real-world examples to highlight the positives and negatives if you’re interested in this device but not completely sure yet. Hopefully, this is of value to you all.

The Pocket 4 is a surprisingly capable photography camera with evident changes and improvements over the Pocket 3. When I bought the Pocket 4, I didn’t expect as big of an upgrade for stills, and I’m still a bit surprised looking at some of the images. I made a video I’m linking that compares it with my Nikon Z6III, Pocket 3, Ace Pro 2, DJI Action 6, and an iPhone 17 Pro, testing it at daytime and at night. If you ever wanted to know how the Pocket 4 photography mode performs, I made this with the intent of it being the only video you'll ever need to watch.

In the past, I always hesitated to use my smartphone for filming, but since purchasing the iPhone 17 Pro, I decided to give it a try and make it work this time. After researching the smallest possible setups, I came up with a few devices I want to share with you all, from ultra-portable tripods and the tiniest 512 SSD, to lens options that maximize my reach, and monitors for live view, including how you can now use your Apple Watch with the Blackmagic app.

Let me know which accessories are your favourites for filming with your smartphone!
