DJI is close to releasing their Action 7. Now, starting off, there's a lot of misinformation regarding when this camera will likely be released. I don't have any insight from DJI themselves, but Insta360 has told me that they're planning to likely release in the new year, several months from now. And if you've followed DJI releases over the last year it is very unlikely for it to release it before Insta360, which means there's very little chance we see an Action 7 before February. As for what I'd like to see added with the 7, there are many other changes I would like to see, and in this video I go over a lot of those improvements that I feel are crucial for it to succeed. Throughout the video, I swap between the Action 6 and the Pocket 4P, so you can also consider it a comparison video if you're interested in having a watch.
Now please let me know what improvements you'd like to see added to Action 7.

Insta360, just dropped an update for their X6 360 camera, and I’m a little surprised not too many are chatting about it. This is firmware update V1.2.35, and it should be available as soon as you pair your X6 to your phone using Insta360’s app.

Al Director now lets you customize the edit range.
Manually select the date range of footage for Al Director to use, for more flexible results.

360 Video mode now supports 4K120fps.

Flat Video and Flat PureVideo modes now support
48fps and 24fps frame rates.

Flat Photo mode now supports 4:3 and 3:4 aspect ratios.

New 360 Slow-Mo Mode supports 4K200fps, 4K120fps, and 4K100fps.

Routine performance and system stability improvements.

Hey everyone, DJI released their newest update for the Pocket 4 and Pocket 4P today. If you wanted to see what all was changed, I made a video going through the different changes to show you what to expect. The headlining update, of course, is that 240 FPS log now available within both the 4 and the 4P cameras, which is an excellent addition in my opinion to the camera, which I provide several examples of along with the other updated features. I hope this helps clear up the changes for people looking for real world examples.

There's been a lot of debate over which is actually the better camera, the Pocket 4 Pro or the Luna Ultra. I made a full review comparing the two, focusing on real-world user experience and actual results rather than spec sheets.

One of the many things covered is the ISO performance across the range in D-Log 2 to see if the claimed 1600 native ISO on the Pocket 4 Pro actually holds up, along with a bunch of other tests.

I spent 30 days with the Luna Ultra to make this review. Since I picked it up after the camera's initial launch, almost all the footage was shot on either the beta firmware or the most recent official release. In the second half of the video, I do some comparisons to see what Insta360 actually fixed with this update — including whether the auto-ISO issue in I-Log still persists. I hope you all enjoy this review, as I spent many hours filming and editing it.

The GoPro Mission 1 is an almost perfect release from GoPro, after owning it for a month, I have some thoughts on what it does right and where it can improve. What do you think the Mission 1 does right, and where would you like to see the camera improve through firmware updates or future iterations?

After watching ChrisMeetsChris’ video mentioning Mission 1’s newest GP-LOG2 LUT — created by Abe Kislevitz — that brings the cinematic look from the normal preset over to GP-LOG2, I thought I’d test it out in Vancouver during the Sweden vs. Canada chaos in Vancouver last week. I have to say, I’m loving the range this log format gives you, and I think it’s a pretty decent starting point for a grade.

After using the Mic Pro for several weeks on the latest firmware, I created this video to give an honest review of the Mic Pro in various recording settings. I include untreated indoor tests, windy bike tests, and outdoor tests in a nature reserve with straight out-of-mic raw audio, as well as Davinci Resolve processed audio. I just recently released a video comparing the 8K to the 4K, plus overheating tests using the Ace Pro 2, GoPro’s Mission 1, and the DjI Action 6 based on a user’s request. I have side-by-side comparisons of all cameras in those 4K and 8k modes to easily show the difference between all cameras mentioned. I've had the GoPro Mission 1 that I bought myself for a few days now, and since receiving it, I've used it alongside my Osmo Action 6, comparing them side by side. I'm mainly sharing what I found that I think is a useful difference to mention, rather than anything too technical, since that information has been out for over a month now. Since the GO Ultra was released, the photography mode has been ignored when it comes to reviews or thorough overviews of the photography features within this camera.

DJI recently released an update for the Action 6, but there’s a lot of confusion about the changes. Specifically, people are confused about the 1:1 change in the field of view and the addition of AI highlights. In this video, I compare before-and-after shots of the FOV, and I also get some clarification from DJI staff about my findings.
