My outfit for a day rave I attended two weeks ago! Highlight of my summer
It was a hot day and the rave was all outside so I was grateful for the weather!

Hey ladies
I hope you’re all doing well.
I live in the U.K. London. I think most on here are in the USA?
I saw a friend yesterday and it started me thinking… why am I not believed?
Granted my friend is a little naive and wyt, although from an Eastern European country that is experiencing war.
I told her about my experiences of when I used to live outside London, and wyt women used to try and touch my hair and she was making excuses for them and I was like H no!
“Don’t tell me as a black person anything about it!”
She apologised and we continued on our evening.
However it got me thinking this is not a unique experience for me, I’ve experienced not being believed by black ppl too!
Particularly when I’ve experienced SA.
I have experienced not being believed by Black ppl when I’ve experienced SA and even my sister didn’t want to acknowledge it or accept it., although she hardly knew my ex.
I had a close African friend who didn’t believe me about my ex’s treatment towards me ( he was half white and half Chinese)
until he let the mask slip and she saw it with her own eyes! She apologised and told me she thought that I was the one causing trouble (and inferred that Black ppl do) mind you she had experienced DA from her wyt husband! (Make it make sense).
This is not to mention any other SA or harassment I’ve experienced.
I don’t get it, it’s not like I have a history of telling lies or saying things that are not true, yet the default is unbelief.
It’s always seems to be racism and misogyny where I’m not believed, (misogynoir).
Why is this still happening in 2026? Is it just me?
I love dressing up and feeling cute.
Went to see a play at the theatre, on my way home now
I grew up reading Maeve Binchy books and how she describes the various adventures of the characters living in Ireland. I live in London but haven’t met many Irish people here, so thought I’d put it out here and hope to meet more people 😊
Getting back into upper body training have been limited due to a hand injury.
So, this was sent to the buyer. I have no communication that there was an issue not picking the item up or that they are on holiday. I’m thinking they maybe trying to pull a fast one as they will get a refund now. Has anyone else had this issue? I mean it wasn’t much the skirt was only £3.
I have a festival coming up next month, it’s an open air one- old Skool 90’s RnB. I wore it for the weekend, however I believe it will be perfect for the festival.
Today was such a battle and most days are. I put on makeup and a smile and pray, but it takes a lot of energy. I’ve done a lot to try and make improvements but it never feels enough. I’m looking into finding a therapist.
