Question about iPhone 12 over the air update

I received this iPhone 12 last year that was running iOS 18.0.1 and I did over the air update to iOS 26.0 and have continued to update it through iOS 26.6. I just wondered is it possible that some firmware components such as for the speaker or other firmware components could stay on iOS 18 versions while the iPhone still reports as iOS 26? is this something that can happen or does skipping iOS versions not really matter?

iPhone 16 pro storage question

Is anyone else having a really weird issue on their iPhone 16 pro with 256 GB? My system data was stuck at 1.07 GB exactly for months and months then I updated from iOS 26.5.2 to iOS 26.6 and it stayed at 1.07 GB then I rebooted it and the storage used by system data drop down to like 400 to 600 MB. so I left it for a little while the next day it went up to 5.12 GB and then drop down again to 400megabytes then it went up to around 2 GB then today I checked it and the amount of storage used dropped from 138 GB to 113 GB the system Data number also dropped down from 2 GB to 600 MB other than the system data the iPhone appears to be working normally I’m just a bit worried that my storage may not be recorded correctly does anyone know a fix for this issue and is anyone facing this issue on iOS 26.6?

Does anyone know how to fix my USB port?

So I have an iPhone 16 pro and my USBc port is incredibly unreliable. Often the charges will slip out of the Port. This is not a big deal to me as I mostly use MagSafe to charge my devices but it still is nice to have the port so does anyone know how to fix this? I have already tried cleaning the port and it will not help

Is the Apple Watch series 8 not being supported by iOS 27 a false rumour?

I saw a lot of people saying that the Apple Watch series 8 will not be getting watchOS 27 but I have also seen screenshots of people installing it on Apple Watch series 8 so I just wondered will it get the update? Also even if it doesn’t get the update is it possible that Apple could make it available in the future? also, will it work with my iPhone on iOS 27 or will I need to buy a new watch?

Spotify issue

Is anyone else having an issue when adding songs to a playlist using VoiceOver? I’m on an iPhone 12 running iOS 26.5 and I’m on the latest version of the Spotify app I can click the ad to playlist button and select my playlist but there is no done button when I finish to add the songs to the playlist. This is a huge regression in accessibility that needs to be fixed. Immediately I contacted Spotify support and it started off really good with the customer support person saying the accessibility is a priority but then after a week with no response I finally got an email asking me to complete a survey. I found this really disappointing as they hadn’t even resolved my issue and they just wanted me to complete the survey so yeah, does anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and rebooting my device

Music keeps cutting out when AirPlay to HomePod

I have a HomePod mini and an iPhone 12 whenever I try to play music on Spotify and AirPlay it to the HomePod. It takes ages to connect and the music keeps cutting out like every 10 seconds. Is anyone else facing this issue? My HomePod and iPhone are both up-to-date on version 26.5 and my Spotify app is up-to-date. My iPhone battery was also replaced in an Apple Store last month and in the diagnostic they said that everything looked fine, so I know it’s not an iPhone issue. This also happens on other devices. I have tried resetting the HomePod to factory settings but that hasn’t fixed the issue. does anyone know how I can fix it?
