Explain it like I'm 5

The pins. The map pins that can show you how placement of zones can add up bonuses. I didn't realise it was a thing until I saw it used in a couple of tutorials on YT, but they were not fully explained.

I have had a crack at figuring it out, but I must be doing something wrong as I'm not seeing any additional information.

Tbh, even though I have played off and on for a couple of years, I mostly play Civ V as I never got the hang of the difference in mechanics. But this last week I have been trying to get the hang of it.

Any help appreciated!

Bloody hell that's loud!

Lightning bright as day and the thunder shook the house.

I usually love it, but that's terrifying. I'm glad my dog isn't here, she was so scared of regular storms, this would have sent her mental.

A minor moan

Please forgive my moaning. I'm feeling a bit hard done by. It's a week to go before my blood test and I feel rotten. I am following your advice about not cutting gluten before the test, I cannot see myself doing it after the test, whether they want me to have a colonoscopy or not. I simply cannot continue to feel this bad. I can't do anything. I feel bloated, queasy and can't be far from the loo. Today has been particularly bad with cramping. I want a hot water bottle on my lower back but its too hot and I am already flirting with dehydration.

You are a really nice community here BTW. I am not 100% if it is coeliac as I get this all with anything I eat in the morning, but it eases throughout the day mostly. Gluten definitely makes it worse, but I am leaning towards IBS or something.

Thank you.

Test upcoming

Hi everyone, I am being tested on 02/06 and read that I shouldn't exclude gluten from my diet so as to avoid an inaccurate result. All well and good.

But, I don't particularly want to spend the next 2-3 weeks on the loo or cramping. Can I limit the bad foods for a period and then the week before add them in again, or does the test need a longer sample time, like a diabetes blood test that represents a 3 month period?

Ingredient problem

I'm posting here because I'm in the UK and i don't want a bunch of suggestions that I can't use because I can't get them!

Okay, I am craving a gooey mac and cheese. The problem is I am recently diagnosed gluten intolerant. (I cut out carbs for 8 months for diabetes reasons and when i started to reintroduce them pasta and bread are not my friend. Wtf body!) Anyway, I have tried various substitutes. Leek sheets for lasagne, tasty. Courgette for spaghetti, tolerable-ish. But I cannot find anything that gives the same mouth feel as pasta for mac and cheese. I tried gluten free pasta and the konjac stuff its just not the same.

So anything else I can try?
