Earl Court (2024)

Visited London in October of 2024 and absolutely miss it. Stayed in Earl’s Court and absolutely loved that neighborhood. Hoping I can come back soon.

Anyone Know Name of this Building at Canary Wharf in London?

The one next to Newfoundland Tower. The shape is bit unconventional.

432nd Park Avenue and ONE WORLD TRADE.

I will be honest I’m not much of fan of 432’s design but thought this is was decent photo from Central Park

Napoleon III

Everyone wonders what a Kubrick *Napoleon* film would’ve been like but I wonder what his film on France’s First President and Second Emperor would be like.

The *Napoleon* 4-part miniseries from 2002 is really good though and I probably the closest we’ll get to Kubrick’s vision for it.

Could a Historical Epic on Heraclius Fighting Phocas and the Sassanids Work?

Of course may have to be presented as morally grey because of the violence from both parties but from what I’ve read Heraclius is mostly in the right and Phocas caused things to get worse under a rule of extreme tyranny and caused the Sassanids to greatly inflict much damage on the empire.

Other Unrealized or Potential Films Would’ve Liked to have Seen from Kubrick.

Aside from *Aryan Papers* his *A.I. Artificial Intelligence* and of course his *Napoleon* Project what are some other unrealized or other topics you would’ve wanted to see from Kubrick if he had made it into the 21st century?

Idea for “West Wingesque” show.

I’ve been studying and reading lot on President Rutherford Hayes and examining Compromise of 1877 and Reconstruction America. Could a “West Wing” style series set during his presidency work? I just have interest in many of the presidents that aren’t remembered as much and found Grover Cleveland and James Polk interesting as well.
