Hornady #3140 .311" box vs .310" recipe—safe to use starting loads?
I picked up an older vintage box of Hornady #3140 (123gr 7.62 Cal) that is explicitly stamped .311" on the label. From what I understand, modern production runs of #3140 are sized to .310", and current published load data reflects that smaller diameter.
I'm loading these for my Mosin. Can I just follow the recipe like normal, or do I need to make a change (like backing off the charge) to account for the extra .001"?
