Question (spoilers)

So sitting here playing the game again/ watching the show I had an idea and was curious if anyone else thought this. If mar knows how Ellie came to be why doesn’t she just do it again? In all ways of this reality something shitty would have to happen. Ellie dies and they try to make an experiment or Joel goes crazy and kills everyone. But if they just did it to a mom who more than likely wasn’t gonna make it and her kid, couldn’t they just use the kid before it grows up? I can see this being extremely controversial. Especially with today problems. But just something I thought of.

My opinion on season 2 (controversial)

I must say I was very swept off my feet after reading the responses on all of these threads. Let me start off by saying I loved the show. The characters. The animations. Everything! But one thing I see in all of these replies with people not liking season 2 is people just say “bad taste” or “it’s not a Shonen” etc.. I wanna state I was one of the people very underwhelmed by this conclusion of season 2. I try my best not to be biased as I am a stoic/atheist, but i for one think it was a load of bs. I get the whole point and I’m sure I’ll get slammed for saying that and I know this is has no correlation but remember the end of AOT? Did (no spoilers) he not prove a point? Everything will repeat itself without strength and authority in life! I don’t believe in this “everyone should be nice and the world will be perfect” if you’re religious and even if you’re not you should damn well know the world is not butterfly and rainbows. People are born demented and tainted by parents making actions that aren’t even aggressive to anyone. The world is full of prosperity but also free will and temptations. If everything was just a pat on the back and a good talk no one would learn anything. Not that the alternative is much better. But still. In my opinion the world needs a medium on that frontier. Thanks for reading my rant. I just wanted to say what I haven’t really seen anyone say. The world can truly never know peace as long as family’s and ancestors hold the burden of past decisions. 1,000,001 can be in a world and it only takes the one to shift a tide. Unpredictable is life and so should it be handled. Much love.

(I did flag the post as spoiler just in case)

So my LD gf (20) and me (25) have been together for almost 7 months now. Recently she had went on a family vacation and friends. Her brother had invited some friends too. One of them had complimented her several times on the trip and she had told me about it. I didn’t think much of it at the time but now she has recently told they were going to go hangout one on one. It was a day at the mall and feeding ducks. I expressed my feelings about this and said it made me uncomfortable but she insisted I was over thinking and that he has Just simply been nice to her and that she has not a single drop of interest in him. We had a bit of an argument about it and she kept telling me she’s always telling me if she’s gonna see him and what they are doing and that I shouldn’t be worried. She also says she has told him about us before. Now she says the end of the week he has invited her to go see his family in a family dinner. Am I really just insecure and damaged from past relationships? I feel in a way I would NEVER do this to her and she just can’t understand that. Is it truly possible a guy would be doing this with a girl just to be friends? (She has also “asked” him in person if he liked her and he said “no”)
