Always great to add a few Absolutes to the collection, and I'm currently reading Transmetropolitan 1 on the advice of this sub and loving it!

This is meant to be a "new" purchase from retailer I never used before.. Never again

The paper thickness and cover material seem very different. My volume 1 has a faded matt finish, and is much thicker. Volume 2 is more glossy, colourful cover. Just interested to know.

I hear this one is a classic, I hope I enjoy it

Have read that this is great from Ennis and found sealed box set of issues ( think oversized), anyone read this?

I think I read a few issues many years ago and liked it. But never got far enough. Now I got this at a really good deal and can get 2nd volume for good deal too. Or is it divisive in terms of quality and should read through this volume first?
