Is this a printing error? Just me or anyone else?
There's only 4 issues of born, so was massively confused about this

Just at the beginning of the X men ( excluding all new x men by Grant which I read before) just finished the B&G Omni vol. 1, which I really liked with the exception of the mojoverse stuff. I'm probably going to skip on the B&G omni 2 ( with fatal attractions omni) someone tell me if it's mistake.
P. S. I have no clue about the reading order post messiah complex with the collection I've got, someone correct me if wrong.
Also have Dawn of X Omnis but no space on the shelf atm
Excited with these ones, was sweating over Messiah Trilogy as its out of stock mostly in UK, but forbidden planet had it for £81 total so bit the bullet.
Just waiting for Blue & Gold to turn up, then I'll start the reading Journey! I think on average it works out as £50 per book, so not too bad I think.
Can't wait to finish the series at last... Hope everyone grabs their copy soon
Found it pretty prescient... Anyways, enjoying the Garth Ennis run so far. I feel the art in Jamie Delano run was more interesting though ( although haven't got to Steve Dillon issues yet)
I've got quite a few books hidden in other places, but this is currently my front facing collection. USM2 omni coming in soon! And x men apocalypse should come in today
I'm guessing it's a bit of a non focused omni, but anything worth reading here esp before Messiah Trilogy?
The hardcover quality seems amazing, hopefully the stories themselves are not outdated. In the part I tended to prefer Gilbert Hernandez's stories, but this is change to give Jaime Hernandez another chance
I know there's a new reprint, but thr RRP is very high.. However I found a nice copy of the other printing for good price (approx $95), Is it worth it at that price?
Obviously I've seen Age of Apocalypse and Messiah Trilogy due to come out soon
I've read and enjoyed All new xmen by Grant Morrison and Astonishing Xmen by Whedon. I've read some of Claremont stuff, especially the stuff In his omnibus volume 2..
If I had to get 1 of the 2 new omnibuses with my criteria being : 1) Prefer one and done Omnis 2) prefer well written over action 3) prefer bit more modern writing 4) I'm unlikely going to be a serious collector of x men, just want to read "greatest hits * basically
Which of the 2 would you get.? Thanks
Obviously the 2 omnibus HCs are the best, but OOP and very expensive
I already have the first 3 Complete Collections ( out of 4). But finding that 4th is a nightmare to find.
I have option to buy the 5 main Hardcovers for reasonable price , but it looks they don't contain the "extra" issues like Born, or Barrucuda
Is it worth getting the HCs just to upgrade format? Or should I be patient and wait for either omni to reprint or 4th complete collection?
I've just picked up one off my shelf that I've just seen the invoice for - September 2019.
Bought new then, was left in my parents house until last week when I finally found it. At least it's stlll in pristine condition
The book is Rusty Brown!
P. S. I Have an OOP Daredevil Companion omnibus that I can't find in my parents house. It was new and so cheap ( in today's standards) 😭
I don't think they're Garth Ennis or Danny Cates most well known books. But why not try them I thought!
Hopefully I've picked a couple of good Omnis, glad I got the blue and gold at good price
Any idea why they'd return to seller? Only 1 delivery attempt. I've used this parcel shop before and the label in the image ( pre blurring) is correct. The only reason I can think of, is if the package is in bad condition?
Came in great condition and did not take that long ( around 3 weeks total) and I could not have got this haul any cheaper in the UK. Great packaging, and will buy from them again!
Both masterpieces by the way
I think both of those books felt so real. I can't say whether they are historically accurate, but you cannot deny the attention to detail and artistry ( both written and art) of recreating the world around the story. I feel like I've visited the slums of the east end of 19th century London. Early 20th century Berlin was certainly a dazzling yet equally horrifying place to be in
Any others that you felt similar vibes?
As a fan of the original Stephen King stories, thought I'd take a chance! Does have some good creators attached. Anyone read them?
I think it follows Joe Kelly's run? Which I'm reading digital. I got it mainly due to the creators listed tbh
