Delayed rolling anyone?

Hii. My LO is 4.5 months and occasionally rolls onto her sides but that's about it

We try tummy time multiple times a day and she really really struggles.

When did your babies start rolling? Which way came first?

She's 18 pounds and Im starting to get worried that she won't roll or be able to push herself up via her forearms.

Has great neck control.

When does it ACTUALLY become enjoyable ?

Looking for opinions from those with babies/children older than 4 months.
Okay so I don't mean to complain. I absolutely adore my baby.

She's currently 4.5 months, hasn't gone through a sleep regression yet probably because she still hasn't started rolling or have gained many skills other than eating her hands haha

Right now it feels like Im always running around either feeding her, entertaining her, sanitizing bottles, napping her, doing laundry, trying to cook, going for walks, appointments etc etc and the cycle continues.

I feel like I'm doing the same thing(s) every single day and I'm always super exhausted at the end of every day. Also bored throughout the day. Although she is the love of my life, it would be great to look forward to something else if that makes sense?

Does it more exciting as they get older? I know parenting isn't EASY but does the predictability pass? If more difficult, does it get a little less boring? Should I look forward to a milestone or age?

Traveling to US with Pardon (Canadian)

Hi, my mom has been granted a pardon about 6 years ago. We have travelled to the US to see family members often but since Trump took office she's been afraid to attempt to cross the border.

She is now a Canadian citizen, no record and granted a pardon for self defence assult from back in the 90s.

Anyone travel to the US with a pardon from Canada with or without issue?

More than one child? Why?

Okay so I currently have a 4 month old. Love her to death. She was very much planned.

Before her, I always said I wanted a big family and multiple kids but after issues with polyps, fibroids, a 2nd trimester loss, emergency c section and postpartum preeclampsia, I said nope.

After the first month of her life I really decided that I am one and done. This life is very difficult no matter how much I love her. Although I've always liked kids and grew up with siblings!

So for those who decided to have more than 1 im just wondering why? Did you have an easy baby? Was it an accident? Did you feel like you had to? Did it become more enjoyable overtime?

I'm honestly just curious.

NEW FIFA COIN

Such a beauty! The loonie will be in circulation but I imagine it's going to be hard to find.

Has anyone just gone into a bank and asked a teller if they have specific coins lol?

I get tired of waiting to find them in my change so end up just purchasing the set(s) from the mint

This one is like $40 buvks so I don't want to dish out just for the loonie

When do babies start connecting sleep cycles on their own during the day?

Looking for some insight on when your baby started connecting sleep cycles on their own during day time naps.

We've been contact napping for months. Starting on Monday we have been practicing crib naps.

Usually during contact naps we'd get about 45min to 2 hr stretches depending on the time of day.

Crib naps have beeh much shorter 30-45 min except for Tuesday where we got 1 2hr crib nap. I think it was because they got their vaccinations a day earlier.

Anyway, baby is currently held/ rocked until drowsy then placed in crib with pacifier & hand on chest at night and can sleep 5-7 hrs before waking up to feed but day nap s seek to be harder.

For naps, the routine is the samess bedtime since Monday. As of Tuesday afternoon, when I hear baby start moving around, I place pacifier in mouth with hand on chest until she goes back to sleep.

Basically I'm manually helping her connect sleep cycles during the day naps.

When did your baby start connecting cycles on their own and not waking up after 30 minutes every nap.

How to tell if my coins are worth anything l

I've been collecting Canadian and US coins for about 15+ years now as a hobby. I just love how pretty they are.

I didn't start as a way to make money but now that I'm older with a child, I'm wondering if there's a way/resource to see if they're worth anything. If my books would worth passing down.

Ii saw some apps where you take a photo and it tells you their worth but those had crap reviews

Slumberpod, snoozeshade or crib covers worth it for DAYTIME NAPS?

Hello :) looking for opinions on those who have used crib tents and if they helped for daytime naps

I have a newly 4 month old who currently only contact naps. I am now able to get her to sleep in her crib for 1 nap in the morning but she wakes up after 30 minutes. Seems as though she can't connect sleep cycles during the day unless she's held.

At night we slightly rock her for a few minites or walk around with her for a few, put her in the crib and she's out. The room is dark with blackout blinds and white noise

But during the day she only sleeps 1 hr + if held.

I try to mimic the same environment during daytime naps but admit there's always a bit of light coming in from somewhere (under the door, the vent, cracks around the door etc)

I'm wondering if anyone has used a crib cover to help with daytime naps successfully??

Thanks a lot!

Early signs you've noticed?

Hello,

Currently looking to see if there are early symptoms of autism you've noticed before diagnosis.
We are coming up on the time where diagnosis is possible so just wondering if you noticed any signs in in fancy.

Young one isn't interested in peek a boo, not babbling, not rolling.

4 month old not babbling

Hellooo. I have a newly 4 month old (yesterday) who doesn't really babble. She makes ahh sounds sometimes. She makes raspberries and goes gurgling aounds. Squeals and makes sorta laughing sounds BUT nothing like oooh da da baba or anything like that.

Is this normal or do you think this is a developmental delay? Can anyone else relate ?

Ok I really need some success stories regarding the elimination of contact napping.

Baby is 4 months old today. Has been contact napping for about 2 months now. Before this as a newborn she would sleep anywhere crib contact couch Light dark whatever

My baby is large. 99th percentile so ai really want to stop contact napping

During the night, we give her a little rock or we walk around for a couple min, pop her in the crib and she's out for hours. 2 wake ups to eat then back out. About 11-12 hrs of night sleep

We currently have and have never had any issue with night sleeps (yet) so no advice needed with that.

PLEASE HELP anybody escape contact naps successfully at this age?

My 16.5 week old just slept for 8 hrs straight for the first time ever

Usually she wakes up after 5 hrs then again after 4hrs. Should I be waking her up if this happens again?

Do you wake yours up at this age for a feed?

Baby girl is 16 weeks today. Has been able to sleep in her crib since day 1 only EXCEPT for naps

She has always contact napped with the exception of her early newborn stage where she would sleep anywhere.

Anyway, she sleeps around 8:30PM wakes up around 1 to eat then again around 6am to eat. Then up for the day around 9

She will not sleep in her crib by any means. Has to be slightly rocked and or bounced and then just naps on my husband or I.

Naps range from 30 min to 2 hrs on average. Any advice on how to get mt baby to sleep in the crib during the day.

My back and arms cant take it anymore. She is in the 99th percentile. Also would love to get some things done during the day instead of being nap locked.

Pleaseee help!

▲ 2 r/zoloft

Hii. Okay so I have been on zoloft in the past 25mg for a few months here and there. Quit cold turkey and felt off for a bit.

This time around I was on 25mg for two weeks then 50 for a week due to postpartum anxiety and it was driving me crazy. For the first time I was having crazy vivid dreams, earloops, couldn't sleep to the point where I had to take melatonin.

I couldn't take it anymore and quit cold turkey again. I could finally sleep again. On day 5 without it abd feel so much better.

Should I expect to feel terrible soon?
