Why is Danielle always competing with Bridgette?

Her tiktoks always mention bridgette somehow painting her in a better way, even in vlogs she says a taunt like recently calling B a vlog hog (B’s content is better!) like its so weird its her sister look at these recent tiktoks, its so obvious she’s trying to feel better about not being engaged and showing shes running the business now lol

Love Jab Tak Hai Jaan

The first half of this movie, the flashback is amazing. I have watched and rewatched the movie so many times, i always skip the second half. But the first half is so magical and beautifully romantic!

For those who also enjoyed the movie, what did you love most about it?!

Bepannah - Zoya is the worst

I am watching the show right now and omg she is so annoying! All she does is cry, she glorifies cheating, and the way she led Arshad on was disgusting. I think Aditya deserved better than her, the way she was willing to let Aditya go to prison just so she doesnt tell everyone about Mahi was so frustrating to watch. Especially when she was trying to suck up to her mother in law by reopening the case.

Every time she just annoys me and it has really ruined the show for me, which is sad bc the main couple look really great together. What do others think?

Alternative Real Careers to 9-5

Hello, I am currently in an admin job started this month, and I absolutely hate it. I hate the office culture etc, and I have worked in office jobs before and did not like them them either.

My question is those who have pivoted from such similar a role into a completely different industry, how sid you do it and and what advice you would give.

I live in London, and i dont want to be miserable anymore, thanks.

How to to environmental Careers from admin experience?

I'm based in London and currently work a typical 9–5 admin job. I also have a business degree.

I've realised that what I'm really craving is getting away from the corporate office environment. I've found myself drawn to nature-based or more meaningful work, but I'm not sure whether I actually want a "nature career" or just a different kind of workplace and lifestyle.

I keep looking at things like park ranger roles, conservation organisations, etc., but I have no idea what I'd realistically be qualified for with my background.

Has anyone made a similar switch from office/admin work? What kinds of roles or organisations would you suggest I look into, especially in or around London?

Do university professional staff get the summer off?

Hi all,

I'm interested in working in higher education/universities in the future, but in a professional services or administrative role rather than as a lecturer or professor.

I was wondering whether university staff in these kinds of roles get the summer off like school staff, or if it's generally a normal year-round job with annual leave like most other workplaces?

Just curious about how it works. Thanks!

—- Thanks everyone, I have got my answer!

Manifesting financial freedom from a 9–5?

Hi everyone! how do i manifest financial freedom to the point where i no longer need to work a 9–5 (or work at all) while still being financially secure and having more than enough money to live comfortably?

I currently just started a regular 9-5job, but my goal is to reach a point where I have complete financial freedom and can spend my time on things I genuinely enjoy. I’m wondering how people would approach manifesting this properly—affirmations, visualization, detachment, acting as if, etc.

What has worked for you? Please give me detailed advice as I really an a beginner

Advice for my career in library

I’m based in the UK and recently graduated with a Business degree. I have admin experience and have also volunteered with publishing/magazine-related work.

I’ve been trying to get into library work, but keep getting rejected. I even applied for the British Library’s 5-week placement programme as a way to get my foot in the door, but wasn’t successful. I’ve also looked into volunteering at my local libraries, but they rarely seem to have opportunities available.

For those who work in libraries, what is a realistic route into the sector after graduation? Are there particular roles, qualifications, or types of experience I should be targeting first?

Thanks!

First Time Gym anxiety + which membership Tips

Hi, I’m thinking of joining the gym for the first time ever and I’m a bit confused about which membership to choose and also a bit nervous about starting.

I’ll be starting a new job next week (3 days in the office a week), and I also do fencing on Wednesdays, so my schedule is a bit mixed. I’ve never been to a gym before at all, so I’m not really sure what I’d even do when I go.

I know people say nobody cares, but I still feel a bit awkward about going in as a complete beginner and not knowing how anything works.

I’m also unsure whether I should get a limited-hours membership or an unlimited one . I don’t want to overpay, but I also don’t want to regret choosing the wrong option. also I want to join the workout classes they offer but u can only go for hours included in your membership

Would really appreciate any advice on:
which membership is better for a beginner
how often people realistically go when starting out
and how to get over gym anxiety
Thanks 😊

Penguin 2 Week work experience

Those who received and completed the 2 week work experience that Penguin does every few months - did it help you in getting a full time role in publishing soon after?

- they do this in the uk, so any answers from uk would be helpful thanks!

Job Offer Unsure- Help

I’m really confused and would appreciate some advice.

I had a second-stage interview today for a junior admin/ support role, and I’ve now been offered the job on the same day. The speed of the decision is making me overthink everything.

During the interview process, I didn’t feel a strong “fit” with the role or environment. The office felt quite corporate and different from what I expected, and the work itself seems more admin-heavy and structured than I think I’d enjoy long-term. I also just didn’t get a very warm or engaging vibe from the team (they were fine, just quite reserved). After the interview i went home and i was hoping i dont get it bc idk i felt they were abit kinda of like mean girls (there were 2 men one woman), like they didnt care for my answers and my asnwers for the computer tasks were wrong, i even mispelt a few things

Now I’m stuck because:

  • I don’t want to turn down an opportunity in a tough job market
  • But I also feel like I would struggle to enjoy or stay motivated in the role
  • I’m worried about regretting either decision
  • And I’m also questioning how quickly they made the offer (same day), which is making me overthink things even more

There’s also a small part of me hoping for something more aligned with publishing/creative work in the future, which makes me unsure if I should take something I already feel uncertain about.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful or like I’m overthinking a good opportunity, but I also don’t want to accept something I already feel uneasy about.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you decide whether to accept or walk away?

I kind of feel like I am being punished or tested in a weird way, bc ive been job hunting for year and the one job i feel so terrible about is the one i get, and the ones ive spent so long practicing and working for i get rejected
