Do you think there is any realistic chance she will come back after everything that happened?

I’m 22 and this was the first girl I’ve ever genuinely become emotionally attached to. I had been single my entire life before meeting her. We initially started talking online after I sent her a simple “hi,” and over the next 2–3 months we became extremely close. We used to talk frequently through Instagram and phone calls, and I genuinely felt like we had developed a strong emotional connection.

At one point she told me that she was scared of getting into a relationship because of things she had gone through in the past. There were also moments where she seemed unsure about what she wanted, but there were still periods where we were very close and affectionate toward each other.

Eventually things started changing. The communication became less frequent, misunderstandings happened, and I became increasingly anxious about losing her. I probably overthought and overanalysed things, which didn't help the situation. Eventually she distanced herself and blocked me. We currently have no contact.

It's been only a few days, but I'm finding it extremely difficult to detach because she was my first real emotional attachment. I keep thinking about her and wondering whether she thinks about me too.

Recently I also noticed that another guy has a separate Instagram highlight containing photos of him and her, and she herself posted a photo/story mentioning him. Obviously I don't know what their relationship actually is, but seeing it has made me feel like she may have moved on.

So my question is: do you think there is any realistic chance she eventually comes back and wants to reconnect? Has anyone experienced a situation where someone became distant, blocked them, possibly started getting close to someone else, and then eventually came back?

Advise and opinions

I'm 22M and lately I've been feeling mentally and emotionally overwhelmed. I recently finished my MBA and started a field sales job where I'm travelling between shops/dealers most of the day, so there's very little interaction with colleagues and I spend a lot of time alone. On top of that, I've become emotionally attached to one girl, things didn't work out, and I've been overthinking her messages, replies and everything related to her instead of simply seeing her as another girl and moving on. Being away from home, having a lonely career, dealing with heartbreak and having so much time alone with my thoughts has started affecting me mentally. I don't know if I'm just going through a normal rough phase in my early 20s or if I'm genuinely becoming mentally unstable. For anyone who's been through heartbreak, loneliness and career confusion at the same time, how did you get yourself out of it and become mentally stronger?

Is she interested but afraid of relationships?

I (22M) confessed to a girl who initially rejected me, saying we didn't know each other well enough. Since then, we've become very close. We text almost every day, she often wishes me good morning first, we've had long phone calls, she shares parts of her daily life with me, and she's opened up about her past relationship where she was cheated on. Recently, she told me, "I'm scared to be in a relationship currently. This doesn't mean that I don't love you." I'm confused whether she genuinely has feelings but is afraid because of her past, or whether I'm reading too much into the situation. What do you think?

Thoughts on this

have been chatting with a girl (my college junior) on WhatsApp for the past 1–2 months. She rejected me about two weeks before we started talking regularly, saying, "We don't really know each other, so how can you be sure about me?" After that, we somehow became friends and started chatting almost every day.

Recently, I complimented another girl in front of her, and she became noticeably upset. Since then, whenever she's annoyed, she mostly replies with stickers or very short messages and seems to ignore me.

She also sometimes teases me by bringing up that same girl, saying things like, "Go chat with her instead," whenever her name comes up.

There was also another conversation where I joked that she should invite me to her future wedding. She replied, "Who knows? What if you become the main one?" When I said I didn't understand, she just replied, "Nothing."

I'm confused. Does this sound like someone who might have developed feelings and become jealous, or could it just be a close friend who gets possessive or likes teasing? Also, if we keep chatting normally over time, is there a realistic chance this could turn into a relationship, or am I reading too much into these interactions?

I'd appreciate honest opinions, especially from people who've been in similar situations.

Honest and logical opinions will do

A girl who was my college junior indirectly rejected me about 2 weeks ago by saying, "We don't even know each other that well. How can you be so sure about me?"we only had chatting for 2 weeks before i proposed her through insta

After that, we somehow started chatting regularly on WhatsApp because of another situation, and the conversations have been really good. She has said things like "just message me anything," "we're the same vibe," and even said she wouldn't have replied if she thought I was a stalker.

The only thing is that she rarely initiates conversations, and recently her replies have become a bit slower.

What should I do now? Should I continue talking normally, stop initiating for a while, or just accept the rejection and move on?

nb: the chance of seeing her directly is lesser as she is still in college and I am busy travelling due to work but still have time to text her will this work

Looking for honest opinions.

Need a life advice

I've been talking to a girl for a while. She rarely, if ever, messages first. However, when I do message her, she replies properly, asks questions, and participates in the conversation instead of giving one-word answers. I'm trying to figure out my next move. Should I

Opinion about texting my junior crush from college ?

We’ve had almost zero interaction till now, but I find her really attractive and I want to start a conversation without making it weird or creepy. The problem is I overthink a lot before even sending a simple ‘hi’.

How do you guys usually start talking to someone when there’s basically no prior interaction?”

22M — Would messaging my junior from college out of nowhere be weird?

There’s this girl from my college who’s my junior and I find her attractive, but we have literally zero interaction. We follow each other but that’s it. I’ve been thinking about messaging her casually but I genuinely can’t tell if girls usually find that confident/normal or just random and annoying.

I’m not trying to send cringe pickup lines or act desperate. Just a normal conversation starter. But at the same time I don’t want to make someone uncomfortable for no reason.

Girls and guys here — what’s your honest opinion on this? Would you think it’s weird if a random senior with zero interaction messages you?
