Found these at value village for $1.25-$1.50 a piece on their half off deal the other day

Along with some other goodies (last pic). The Arrow cot-n-rite dates to the 50s, the JCPenny Towncraft is 60s I think, and the van Heusen is 60s-70s, probably early 70s. Also (non-true vintage mostly for the rest) a funny ‘trainfest’ polo, Knicks rally towel, some cool vintage buttons! Honestly most excited about trainfest lol I love collecting obscure or oddly specific event and festival shirts

My buddy was going through his old collection and found this gem

A gold Zelda edition GBC camera, with all the photos still on there. Absolutely insane that he forgot about this thing for ~20 years

My curated collection of vintage 70s dagger collar button up shirts/ polos/ jackets

I’ve been working on it for about 5 years now; nearly all of them were either thrifted off the racks or dug from bins, besides the floral blue sunflower Jon Norman one which was an antique mall find, and the kings road one with the green circles on it was a gift. Those 2 are indeed my favorites, too lol.

I’ve parted with about a dozen of them over the last 2 years that I didn’t like as much/ wear often enough/ didn’t fit. But this collection is one of my most prized collections!

2nd to last pic has polos, the green orange one is fs 70s but the red one might be 80s, and also doesn’t have a dagger collar but I still love it and kinda count it as part of this collection; last pic is of my 2 70s dagger collar zipper jackets that I own, an old Van Heusen windbreaker and a leather jacket that was tailored locally in Hartford WI (about 30-40 mins outside of Milwaukee, where I live).

Found at the racks

Found this at the racks the other day, thought the graphic was cool. Can’t find matches on the design and curious about it though. My best guess is it’s from the late 90s-early 2000s, graphic from Keith Mohr’s mixing studio, Mohr Music. Any thoughts?

It finally happened!!

When I saw this order pop up for $36 I knew it was too good to be true, but I accepted it anyways cause I was close. Sure enough, 7 other drivers had come after the first had stolen it. I had to push for it, but I eventually convinced the manager to remake it; I was super communicative w/ the customer and she was over the moon. Even changed her initial $1 tip to a $16 tip! Unicorns are out there, you just gotta work to get them sometimes

Declining raising my acceptance rate?

So it SAYS it doesn’t *lower* the rate, but… it’s actually been increasing my acceptance rate off an on from declining. Yesterday my acceptance rate was at 6% and I’ve accepted 1/~90 offers since then lol yet my acceptance rate has risen to 23%

Bowling leagues?

I’m trying to join a bowling league, ideally at a place with good quality lanes (basically anywhere besides landmark or Falcon), am open to places in the suburbs. I’m not great, but I’m solid; when I’m in practice I average around 160ish, my top score is 220. Ideally a league that’s chill and doesn’t take it too seriously, but that also is a little competitive.

But honestly I have no idea where to start! None of my friends are good enough/ have the time or gear or really care to start one, was wondering if anyone is looking to recruit or is interested in starting one for whenever the next season starts?

My modest collection: part 2

Since yall liked my collection so much, here’s more of it! They’re not as good or oddly specific for the most part as the first set imo, but there’s a few gems in here. Bonus: Kevin Burke/ kill gilligan was one I forgot to add to the initial one!

For reference, the Godzilla x Kong one is… not only a movie promo shirt but also a blood drive shirt 😂

My modest collection

Idk if all of these can quite constitute as odd and specific as is allowed here, but I do my best to find shirts in this camp. They make me happyyyy

Still new to this- help with ID?

Scored a big bag of buttons for $2 and I’ve been trying to sort them. I’m pretty sure pic 1 is antique/ vintage mother of pearl/ Bakelite; pic 2 is art deco and vintage metallic; pic 3 is mostly vintage lucite/ vintage resin; and pic 4 are mostly old colts; pic 5 I’m not too sure but I think is a mix of resin and vintage plastic, but would love some insight! Still have more to go through too

My friend’s cat (tortoise shell female) is soooo ridiculously adorable

I love how many weird and oddly specific toys they made for Voyager (and TNG/DS9). This one may take the cake in my book. Species 8472 COMPLETE WITH Harry Kim with all the shit on his face from being infected by their DNA? Sign me tf up please!! (Got it for $4 at an estate sale, along with a seska action figure for 50 cents)
