Found an 1836, 12 acre land deed located in Windham County, Vermont!

On September 11th 1836, Joshua Morse from Newfane in Windham recieved $150 from Abiel Hinckley in exchange for his 12 acres of land. It gives precise coordinates, including calling this property "Right No. 62 degrees", meaning its part of the 62 plots of land in Marlborough dating back to the 1760's. Joshua Morse, a prominent resident, also built the towns baptist meeting house in 1816 and built that property on its property line. Interesting find! Thinking about calling the Vermont historical society or maybe Widham/Marlborough historical society. This may significant to their history!

About to buy Part 2 after beating NG+ once. I've heard Part 2 is better than Part 1 but had other questions.

Questions are: Are the physics for gunshots/arrows better? In Part 1, they were good but in slow motion they seemed pre-animated/scripted if that makes sense. How is the blood and gore in Part 2? More run and gun or heavily stealth based? I play on PS5 (not pro) and was wondering if there is a noticable graphics jump between Part 1 and Part 2. I'm late into the series but after beating Part 1 twice, its now in my Top 10.

Help Finding Elusive Toy!

Ok, so my dad was born in the 1970s and mentioned he had a crossbow or crossbolt launcher toy that he got in trouble with. He wants to say it was Chewbacca's gun or looks like it but Google says there was no such thing made. It was from either the 1970s or 80s. Was such a toy made?

Very ominious vintage photo of a foggy river and mountains. It called to me. Signed at the bottom

I can't explain the "feeling" when I held and looked at it. Almost like I was there before or saw it in a dream. They always say go with your gut so I took a chance. Paid $9.99.

The Night Of: An Insomnia Tale

It's 3:07am on a Friday night and you just got home an hour ago from your friends party. As your eyes start to get heavy and melatonin is released, the fan becomes quieter. Tommorow is your off day and you plan on meeting your girlfriends parents for the first time. You check the time and it's 4:08am. Strangly enough, there is a knock on the window downstairs. Still groggy from not falling asleep, you grab a flashlight and turn it on, illuminating your path ahead. The locks on the windows are still secure but you get a notification on your phone.

"Back door, open" your phone says out loud, so you promptly inspect the issue. To your suprise, the back door is still locked.

"Front door, open" it says, causing you to now go check the front door. Alas, same scenario as it too is still locked.

Frusturated, you mute your phone and try heading back upstairs when you hear a knock on the back door and front door at the same time. You head back downstairs and retrive your pistol. With your weapon drawn, you open the front door and check your surroundings to see if someone was playing a prank. Nobody was observed, letting you focus attention on the back door. Again, nobody was there and you start get enraged. You bolt towards the front door, only to reveal an upside down wooden cross with bizzare lettering carved into it on the porch. Upon picking it up, the cross burns the text into your right palm.

After soaking it in cold water, you had back upstairs to finally try to sleep at 5:09am. Shortly after shutting your door and lying in bed, very loud scratches are heard on your bedroom door. Scared, you tell yourself its just a dream and head out of your room to inspect the sound. To your suprise, four gigantic claw marks are visible. You begin to sweat and your heart starts to race as well.

Just as you slowly turn your head, a snarling wolf is infront of you. It's drool soaks the carpet, leaving behind a thick layer of saliva. You quickly run downstairs but the wolf is too fast. It's razor sharp teeth pierce your lower leg, penetrating your ACL tendon. In severe pain, you make it to the basement and lock the door behind you. Blood pours out at an alarming rate, forcing you to improvise. You locate a towel and wrap it around your leg to help stop the bleeding.

All of a sudden, as you're heading upstairs, a giant python is slowly crawling down the steps, hissing every few inches. You panic and try calling 911 but nobody answers. With a badly injured leg, you run upstairs, trying to avoid the python but it latches onto your other. In a desperate attempt to free yourself, you pull out your pistol and fire one shot into its body, incapacitating the large reptile. Unfortunatly, the bullet penetrates your foot, causing severe nerve damage. You open the basement door and attempt to call 911 once more but a busy signal plays.

As you were heading back upstairs, the wolf follows, biting you in the other leg, severing your ACL. With both legs now critically injured, you begin crying in agony. Memories of your girlfriend play through your head but it still fails to ease the pain. The wolf backs off, giving you a chance to go to your room and lock the door. Luckily, you manage to get into bed but the pain is unberable.

The time is 6:10am and still haven't fallen asleep due to both ACL's being severed. Your eyes get heavy and the fan gets quiter. This is it, your finally going to sleep, despite being in pain. Just before your eyes shut, hissing is heard in your room. The python made its way upstairs into your room. It slithers its heavy body across your chest and wraps itself around your stomach. As it crushes your internal organs, your breathing becomes shallow. All feeling from your waist down is lost as circulation is cut off. The wolf comes in and jumps on top of the bed before staring you right in the eyes. You blink twice and it nods its head as if it understands. It lunges towards your face, biting it until bone is exposed. Your life was great and so were friends and family. As you take your final breath, your room fades to black.

Goodbye, Nina

A collosal storm approaches and wind violently shakes the trees limbs, causing some to snap. Lightning illuminates the dense forest, providing a glimpse of Mother Natures fury. Barking is heard in the distance, as well as the owners distressed voice.

"Stop, Nina! You know I can't run fast. Shit, I forgot my inhaler, too!" Kelli says as she frantically chases after her 8-month-old Yorkie.

The subtle barks get less audible, causing Kelli to lose track of her beloved puppy. Her heart rate reaches a critical BPM, indicated by her fitness tracker. With a shortness of breath, she staggers to the ground and begins to cry.

"What the Hell, God? This dog means EVERYTHING to me! Ever since Brian died overseas, Nina has been my only escape. Give me a sign that she is OK!" As soon as she says that, a loud yelp is heard in the distance.

More determined than ever, Kelli bolts toward the sound of her whimpering dog, eager to bring it back home. A unsettling growl is heard, causing Kelli to stop in her tracks. All of a sudden, Nina appears, slowly limping back to her. Upon closer inspection, the whole entire left torso of her dog is missing, exposing bone, muscle and organs. Blood pours out onto the grass below, dying it a dark red.

"What the Hell? Nina?! Honey, who did this to you?! Baby, come here, come to mommy!" Kelli responds as her dog is clinging on to its life.

All of a sudden, Nina stops. Her tail quits wagging, no whimpers or barks, a completely void state. Nina slowly backs up, concerning Kelli greatly. The deep growl is heard again, only behind her this time. Kelli holds her breath as thick drool soaks her shoulders and runs down her chest. Not making a sound, she slowly turns around and comes face to face with a creature believed to only reside in fairytales; a werewolf.

It's glowing yellow eyes look straight through Kelli's soul. Thick grey fur covers its muscular body as it stands almost 11 feet tall. For a few moments, both human and beast study one another before the werewolf slowly opens its mouth and lunges towards Kelli. The sharpened teeth cut through her body like butter, impaling every internal organ. The werewolf then takes its claws and swipes across her abdomen, disemboweling her instantly. Before the fatal decapitation, Kelli looks Nina in the eyes for the very last time and says her final goodbyes. Nina wags her tail before running off into the dark forest.

Understanding Me (31M)

Being diagnosed with ASD later in life has changed the way I view the world. I've accepted my (many) unique gifts and interests, as well as challanges. Many friends I talk to think I should stick to one hobby or interest but some just like doing multiple things. I'm an author, musician, artist, entrepreneur, future movie director, YouTuber and collecter of a ton of items. I don't drive (attempted but have PTSD from a bad wreck), never been in a relationship, can't tie my shoes (I wear slipons), can't make eye contact, don't like being joked with or pranked etc. I am me and not someone else. I hope to meet men and women on here who have maybe the same intrests or challanges I do. I've heard this community is accepting, so introduce yourself! If you wish to reach out via DM, that is OK too. Have a great night and stay you!
