Found an 1836, 12 acre land deed located in Windham County, Vermont!
On September 11th 1836, Joshua Morse from Newfane in Windham recieved $150 from Abiel Hinckley in exchange for his 12 acres of land. It gives precise coordinates, including calling this property "Right No. 62 degrees", meaning its part of the 62 plots of land in Marlborough dating back to the 1760's. Joshua Morse, a prominent resident, also built the towns baptist meeting house in 1816 and built that property on its property line. Interesting find! Thinking about calling the Vermont historical society or maybe Widham/Marlborough historical society. This may significant to their history!
