So I've already checked that my phone is set to use Gemini as the assistant but it's still not using it on android auto. I'm in the beta using latest version 17.9.164004)

My wife had never used android auto on any car before but she connected her phone to the car, Gemini was there straight away. I've seen according to Auto Evolution Google completed the transition from Google Assistant to Gemini this week but still I don't have it showing

Am I missing something? A simple setting or change I need to make?

I went to a store today looking for a laser and saw it on display, instantly caught my eye. It looked a lot more premium and feature packed, but at £2300 its not a small purchase, as for me taking my time to decide and posting here.

I've had the SC Live 4 for a little over 3 years now and its been awesome, little slow at times but I've been very happy with it. The deck 1 filter knob has broke and the pads are visibly worn (I love to play with Roll during tracks :D). I'm planning on selling it after getting it serviced / repaired so that will recover some of the G2 cost.

If you have upgraded from the SC Live 4 or even any another controller really, is it worth it?

My income and outgoings won't be massive , but I want something simple, cheap and easy. Prefer something more "established" but willing to look outside the usual high street brands.

Where should I start?

I'm wanting to get a separate account, but are there any you recommend?

I'm completely stuck on what dash cam to get. Sooo many have useless features that just increase price but don't help with quality, just something to add to the name tag and description. I'm in the UK, most brands available here but just something to consider.

So i'm going through the process of getting a private hire licence from a certain council, but have only just found out that black cars cannot be used for private hire there. They can only be used for hackney carriage....

As my enhanced DBS application will be still be continued and will eventually arrive (signing up to update service too), will I be able to use it if I apply for a private hire licence with another council? Or will I need to go through the whole process again for a new DBS?

Randomly discovered this when 5.0.4 got stuck in a boot loop after the "import" screen appeared while updating and i disconnected power to try restart / fix it. (SC Live 4)

I've tried to do a lot research on how it all works, the tools I can use to track mileage and the automated apps that are available, but it's all got very confusing. I've seen many suggestions and many that contradict the advice from others

Simply put, I want to track all mileage while online (including dead miles which I can claim for), then log it all HMRC complaint.

But is there an app / method which can do it all? I don't mind a small monthly fee but I want to get it all sorted simply and following tax laws / rules

Any other advice in relation to this would be very appreciated

Yesterday channel 1 filter knob no longer has the center click / sitting position. It still works but knowing the filter is in the correct position by a physical feel helps a lot.

Any suggestions on where to get it fixed and cost (based north east UK)

So they were "livestreaming" in the movie.....the screenshot shows obs studio and you can clearly see, they're not even live. It shows a "start steaming" ui button. Just to add on they're showing the audio as "desktop audio" even though he is speaking to the camera. "mic / aux" has zero volume.

No 5 disrupted but seems to be alot more than nornmal, why?

I know the A6 C8 2.0 tfsi (204hp) isn't a big power car, but I'm getting different info from different sources about launch control. I've tried Esc off (inc sport), Dynamic mode, brake and accelerator flat....but revs only go to 2k and its just a quick ish start with a lot of turbo lag.

Does anyone know the actual steps to get it to work?

I don't expect it to say "launch control activated" on the dash, its not a performance model, but only 2k revs makes me think I'm doing something wrong

Looking to have a dash cam that also records inside the car to cover me in case anything happens

What signage is required and is there anywhere I can get them pre-made, meeting ICO standards? (UK)

I'm currently paying around £70 for SDP 11k miles on my Audi A6 2022 (I'm 27). While looking for H&R insurance inc SDP (my current doesn't allow top, eg Zego), the cheapest quote im getting is from Acorn for £175 aprox per month. Without H&R its showing aprox £140, so double my current insurance, but not much different to their SDP option

I checked with others and Admiral which is one of the few that allows top up insurance...... £407 per month (Laughable cost), H&R + SDP with INSHUR £229 per month.

I've been driving for 10 nearly years and got a 5+ year NCD, none of the cancellation / claims / conviction stuff

I don't live in a high crime / high risk area and the car isnt worth a massive amount, around £16.5k. But I am stuck in the case of not being able to use Zego for the hourly cover which would be much cheaper if my current provider allowed it.

Any recommendations for finding a lower price / provider?
