I was at a concert tonight, it was a smaller venue, for an Indie band. The venue was maybe half full, and only holds about 300, but had a small vertec system and about 5 commercial subwoofer. we were nearthe front row....the band started and 2 girls behind us immediately started having a full on shouting conversation. We could clearly hear them over the band even though they were 10 feet behind us.
I nicely asked them to stop or at least be a little quiter twice. they'd stop for half a song and start again....the thrid time I finally turned around and told them to "Shut up, or move to the back of the space".
My wife felt this was aggressive, and that I was an asshole...I maintain that a concert, especially near the front row in the middle of the crows is not a place for a conversation when the band is playing...I feel like I was probably the asshole, but maintain it was warranted, and multiple people even said thank you.
Im just so tired of poor etiquette at shows.
This message is on the pages of all three Togiak models.
I had to disagree with her was I correct in taking this stance?
I had a lot of trouble getting a proper all day fit with the Miyako, so I replaced the clasp with this ratcheting one. The end links on the Miyako are 18mm and 20mm, so I ordered some new links from Helm to make them both 20mm. The clasp and its mismatched end links are the only thing I don't really like about this watch, but it was a relatively cheap and easy issue to resolve.
I work the night shift (9 PM–6 AM), and after work this morning, my friends and I stopped at a food stall near our office for breakfast.
The place was busy because it was early morning people were eating, and others were out for their walks and jogging.
An man was also sitting there eating. He farted once, and nobody really cared. But then he kept doing it over and over while everyone around him was trying to eat.
It got so uncomfortable that a few people actually moved away and gave him space. The whole atmosphere changed, and honestly, it ruined our appetite.
I know farting is a natural bodily function, and sometimes people can't control it. But if it keeps happening while you're sitting in a crowded public eating area, does it cross into being a hygiene issue or is it just bad manners?
Curious how others here would feel in this situation.
Shouted "LOOK AT THE PINK! LOOK AT THE PINK!" and "That 's not real chili."
Saw this sign at a friend’s gym. Somebody must have been really overdoing it.
Do they sell it this way, or is it something you can ask them to do when you order one?
