Gloriavale: The Return (the follow-up to the 2014 Propaganda Doc, released in 2018 *I believe* - 8 episodes): unsure yet, still searching for this one. EDIT: I posted a request on r/DownUnderTV and r/torrentrequest, here's hoping it gets fulfilled!

Gloriavale (the 2022 documentary, aka Gloriavale: New Zealand's Secret Cult - 1 hr. 30 mins.): Use a VPN to tunnel to New Zealand, then make an account and do a two-week free trial to DocPlay, then watch here Gloriavale || DocPlay. To then cancel your subscription (and I would cancel it at the two-week mark, there are a *lot* of great documentaries in their catalogue, lots about cults!), go here: https://www.docplay.com/profile then click on the 'subscription' tab. If the 'subscription' tab doesn't show up, just keep refreshing the page til it does. They do charge you $0.50 or whatever in your bank account when you add your card to check that you're a real person, but that's it.

Escaping Utopia (the 2024 docuseries - 3 episodes): Use a VPN to tunnel to New Zealand (I use Proton and already pay $10 a month for it, unsure if their free tier would work for TVNZ since it's technically a streaming service, but it's worth a shot--really you can use any VPN), then make a free account at TVNZ+ and watch it here Escaping Utopia || TVNZ+. If you find that the video keeps stopping with an error code every few seconds or every few minutes or something (and I found that I had this error regardless of which browser I was using, I tried Chrome and Firefox), a weird work-around that I found was turning my VPN off, tunneling to the UK, turning it off again, then tunneling back to New Zealand and then watching again, and I could then resume watching mostly uninterrupted (except with some buffer spots here and there). Don't try to select the video quality though, leave it on auto otherwise you run the risk of it erroring out again.

(otherwise known as Devotion: The Gloriavale Story--they are the same documentary, the latter title is its international title, it's the most recent 2026 docuseries): watch it on Paramount+ here Devotion: Obedience, or Betrayal? || Paramount+. If you have Spectrum (we do) you can get Paramount+ for free on most cable plans (go to sign in or make a new account and then connect your provider and choose Spectrum as your provider--some other TV services also include Paramount+ on their plans, check if that's the case for yours and follow the same steps), and if not, allegedly you can use this code (SAVE992MPREM) to get a free one-month trial.

There was a term I saw used on Twitter (or was it Threads?) I think a week ago on a tweet about the Jackson brothers and how many of them dated white women, and I can't for the life of me remember what it was. And then just recently, I saw someone I know (who is Black) just got engaged to her boyfriend, who's white (and historically she's dated only white men), and I thought to myself "that tracks" but couldn't think of the word that some folks would use to describe her. TYIA!

Title. So everyone in my family has a FitBit Inspire 3, except my sister, who I think has a Luxe.

We all track our steps and are part of a “family” in the Google Health app, and one of our favorite things to do is to check out the leaderboard each day, and see who landed on top. And before you ask, yes, I do know the leaderboard is weekly. But since the “week” starts on Monday, today’s count on the leaderboard would in theory only be for one day, right?

The issue is: our numbers are wildly different depending on whose app we’re reading them from. I haven’t checked my sister’s health app yet but look at the stark difference between mine and my mom’s. And this isn’t like “oh, everyone’s step count is off by one or two depending on whose phone we’re looking at”, this is “oh damn, our step counts are off by a couple thousand.”

Why?!? I’ll put the screenshots in the comments to show y’all what I mean. My numbers appear to be accurate, but my mother’s are wildly off, with seemingly no explanation as to why. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am in my mom’s choir overseas and am used to a 4 ring binder.

For our latest concert, I put the sheet music in a 4 ring binder (all the Sheets were A4 sized) and for my “strap” I sewed a ring of elastic and stuck it on the spine (the loop closed on the inside of the binder). It worked okay for the concert but wrecked the top of the binder’s spine.

I need a dedicated choir binder for our next concert! What are your favorites?
