Is it a good quality stay? I've heard good things at least

So I feel like I can make friends fast at work. At my previous job we went bowling had an Instagram chat shared memes and at my current job we have nicknames for each and my coworkers have said I'm a fun guy so I decided to become a steward

But after 5 months or so of joining the union leadership positions I don't feel happy going to the meetings. I feel like none of the other leaders from different cities really talk to me. I propose new things but I always get outvoted and I don't know it just seem like it's never taken me this long to make friends at a new place. When I go back to my actual job site I feel happy and people ask me questions but not that much when I'm with union staff or the other leaders. I feel like I'm not really wanted

I went to my first cope meetings because I saw there was going to be a candidate where I live and signed up for the extra donation. But when I got to the meeting they selected one person who worked for the city to ask the same question for all the candidates running for the city and it seemed like they typed out the question in advance

I just had my first cope meeting because I realized I may not be interested in politics but it affects us so I should donate and try to make a difference. But during the meeting they only allowed one question to all the specific candidates. As a social worker I really wanted to know what they'd do for our clients and so I ran out of the room when the candidates left and asked em my own questions. But I got pulled outside by the director saying I can't do that

So here in the US it's typically it's about you being sad and grieving but also they're in a better place silver lining, you'll grow again,etc it doesn't just end with grief

I noticed our city's fire departments media specialist who was an office assistant and makes the social media posts and everything wears a uniform and badge at work. First I thought she was a firefighter or inspector or something

So we had a meeting last week and our rep was saying we should be wary of any teamsters members. That apparently they've been trying to get seiu members to leave their cities join an association ' and then join the teamsters. And it was basically if a candidate has teamster backed in their bio that should be a red flag. For me I always thought it didn't really matter what union as long as they're unionized

I was in this club and found this girl by the wall we started talking and got closer to each other. I was saying something and had my palm open and age reaches out and puts her hand in my open palm

Is that what the scene was implying? When he was watching her room. Was it implying she was having sex with different guys but he wanted her?

So I was voted as a leader recently and I don't know I feel everything I do is wrong. The other members have been there for a while and every suggestion gets shot down. Having a guide to the office reps for the different office got voted down, having the reps bring in treats or donuts got labeled as bribery, suggesting Columbus Day for a Halloween party got voted down. It just seems like no one wants likes me there

So a member was recently lost in a tragic incident. I can't go into detail but it was unexpected and sad. I thought it would be good to send an email just saying condolences and offering counseling but the union nixed it because there thousands of other members that die
