Explaining Trinity to Mormons

What’s the best way to explain the Trinity to Mormons? Majority, of them keep saying it’s not in the Bible and it’s made up human tradition. But yet they believe Jesus and Satan are brothers. How does this make any sense at all? Whenever I try to explain it, they accuse me of idolizing the Trinity.

Taking the Holy Eucharist as a Confessional Lutheran.

I was invited by an acquaintance to a noon Eucharist service at an Episcopal church. Since the AALC and the Episcopal Church are not in fellowship, would it be wrong for me to receive Communion, even though the Episcopal Church practices open communion?

Anyone agree that mega churches have been “mcdojos” of the Christendom?

Protestantism shouldn’t look like this. Hopefully, we can all agree on this.

Should every Lutheran read Martin Chemnitz’s Examination of the Council of Trent before attempting to convert to Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy?

I understand that I should also
speak to my pastor as well.

Define interdenominational warfare?

Apparently, calling out specific things about a denomination is considered interdenominational warfare. Whatever happened to exposing heresies? Called out a specific thing about the ELCA and was considered hateful. ELCA gives us protestants a bad name. No wonder why the EO and the RCC mock us. Too many of these churches are preaching a false gospel. Nobody needs to hear heresy when they come to church.

Sparkle Creed? How in the world?

I’m sorry, but how is this biblical? Why can’t we just stick with what the scriptures say. This isn’t tradition nor does this belong in a Lutheran church…. It is absolute heresy. No wonder why the Catholics and the Eastern Orthodoxy judge us. It is perfectly fine to have political views but don’t share this at church.

Met a Roman Catholic who believed Mormons should also be classified as Protestants.

According to him, we made our own gospel and are just as deceived. 😂🤣 Probably, the funniest theological statements I heard.

Met a Catholic who believed Protestants are just as deceived as JWs and Mormons.

Probably one of the funniest things I’ve heard in awhile. He claimed we created our own gospel and went against what the early church fathers believed. Not only that but we preach a gospel not found anywhere in the Scriptures. 😅😂🤣
