What is the best pet name you have ever heard at PetSmart from a pet parent?

Just started working at PetSmart as a pet associate. One of my favorite parts of this job is meeting pet parents' pets and asking questions about them, offering free dog treats, etc. I want to know what the best pet name you have ever heard on the job!

Someone in my complex is probably currently wondering where their box is

Today I got a text message saying my HelloFresh delivery arrived. I opened my door and imagine my surprise when I saw not one but two boxes sitting at my door. I thought at first they somehow duplicated my order but then I looked at the labels and noticed that one had my name and the other had someone else's name and a different unit number. I don't know why the delivery driver left both boxes at my unit, they should have looked at the labels to see that they go to different units. But I took it to the leasing office, explained the situation, and they will make sure the box gets to the correct person. So Matthew, if you are reading this, I hope you got your food. That is all.

It just happened for the first time in over a year

Last time before today was 1/11/25. Exactly 17 months ago. I know compared to some of yall that’s not a super long streak, but for me considering I deal with panic attacks that lead to it happening (not a good combo with emetophobia), it’s actually pretty impressive for me. I feel way better now but a little sad the streak reset. But maybe it’s the start of another good run. I’ve done better with my anxiety in recent years so I feel pretty hopeful it won’t happen again for a while. This was kind of an anomaly because I just came back from a family vacation to Japan, and I’ve been up for over 24 hours flying back home. I think that contributed to this incident, just the fact that I’m disoriented and tired. Luckily though it didn’t happen until after I got back home. anyways that’s all for now, I gotta get some Z’s.

Apple telling me to turn the volume down

That one Apple notification that’s like “volume should be turned down.” You’re my phone, not my mother. I can listen to my music at whatever volume I want thank you very much.

A heartwarming interaction

I worked today from 10-2. We got dumplings in today so of course everyone is wanting to get some. One of these dumpling buyers is a girl and her grandmother (I'm assuming). They buy their dumplings and as they are walking out the grandmother tells me that the girl said the dumplings made it the "best day ever." Those are the types of interactions that make this job worth it. As much as we are all tired of the dumpling craze, it really makes me happy to see children light up when they finally get their hands on a dumpling.
