I hear so many complaints about Bluetooth dongles regarding controller connectivity.
But I don’t hear much on the matter with PCIe Bluetooth. On paper, the ones with external antennas are just straight up superior to dongles and onboard Bluetooth. So, do any of you use it, and if so what’s your experience been like with it?
My VR headset arrives in a few days, I really want to play Half Life Alyx because it looks extremely good.
I haven’t played Half Life 2 yet, I was originally going to play it over the next few days on my desktop and finish the story by the time the headset arrives. But then I learned there’s an actual good VR mod for the game.
Question is, should I play that VR mod for my first playthrough of the game? How good is the mod, and how does it differ from the original game? What’s the setup for the mod like?
I upgraded from a 5070 to a 5080 about a month ago, one thing I quickly noticed is that this thing takes my room from around 72°F to 85-90°F after a few hours of gaming.
Is this common? If so, what would you recommend?
I’m thinking about overclocking + undervolting it, usually I just forget about overclocking GPUs since it’s mostly negligible, but from what I’ve seen the 5080 has some of the highest overclocking potentials out of any GPU.
I’m familiar with overclocking, but I’m not familiar with undervolting, so I’m wondering what you would recommend for the 5080.
I powered the PC on and off maybe 5 times with the power button and it worked fine, then after I went to rearrange some cables, it now no longer works.
Manually shorting the power pins still turns the PC on, F_Panel cable is seated in correctly (though it sits in the pins very loose, this isn't the problem though as I held it fully in myself and tried to turn it on to make sure it wasn't just not getting contact or something).
What should I do? The picture is the inside of the case header. The JC20 is the F_Panel cable, which does look a little crooked on the board, and above it is the power button. I guess the power button could've also stopped working, but the fact that this happened after I was messing around with some cables makes me think I might've tugged on it or something and broke it somehow.
I’ve had nothing but problems from this case, it’s unfortunate because it’s a really nice case.
I want a more compact and non bulky build, but I want to keep the benefits of a full sized ATX board.
Needs to be black or have a black option. No exposed PSU. I don’t have a specific budget, but nothing insanely priced. Thank you.
I might make some small adjustments depending on my position and such, but I will almost always be at sitting height if I get this desk. Will there be any wobble, or will it just be like any normal desk at that normal height?

If I run this game 4k max graphical settings, will it look impressive or no?
In Phyllis’ wedding, when Pam leaves early with Roy, Jim is watching her leave. At the same time during this scene, Kevin’s band starts playing the intro to “Every Breath You Take” by The Police. It’s only for a few seconds, and there are no lyrics, so I feel like it might be easy to miss. “I’ll be watching you” is a popular lyric from the song, and I feel like it perfectly sums up this scene, as well as Pam and Jim’s early relationship.
Feels like a subtle nod by the show that a lot of people might not of noticed.
For some aggravating reason, all the YouTube reviews I’ve watched only show the trackpads by using it as a cursor in windows or in games that have menus designed around a mouse cursor.
Instead, I’m wondering how good they are for replacing the joysticks. Does it feel good? Can they bridge the gap between a mouse and keyboard’s accuracy and precision with the comfort of a controller? I know only select people were able to review the controller and get it early, so I’m just wondering if you’ve heard anything maybe from reviewers about what I’m wondering.
(EDIT) I fixed this by uninstalling the mod in Windhawk, and redownloading it. I’m not sure what caused it, but that was the only thing that fixed it.
As you can see, the start menu is delayed and only pops up a few seconds after I click it. When it finally pops up, it’s frozen, and after a few seconds it disappears on its own. It does this with every theme, which makes me think there’s something I’m missing that will fix it, and I’ve isolated the problem directly to the start menu styler mod itself.
The problem is also not related to the taskbar hide, as I’ve tried it with it disabled and it still does it.
