Been trying out some instant ramen noodles lately - really enjoying doctoring them up.
Jin veggie ramen with mushrooms & scallions sauted in oil and soy sauce. With soy sauce and chili crisp added in and fresh onions on top. Also added garlic powder and some fresh ground pepper.
Have any tips for me for future ramen experiments?
First time trying to make a ramen hack. With fried tofu & fresh mushrooms & scallions. Looks a bit sloppy though.
So.. I’ve been vegan for some months now- I did not anticipate how much research I would be doing on gravy. Most people don’t realize how important gravy really is (very). Anyway - here is my latest acquisition- let me know if you want more posts on gravy. Thanks.
Trader Joe’s biscuits w/ homemade pepper gravy w/ gardein crumbles. For dinner and also breakfast - and also possibly lunch.
Made a delicious cherry tomato salad! Blueberries are nice too.
Cherry tomatoes from local farm, red onion, fresh basil, Kalamata olive. Tossed in garlic expressions dressing with a bit of black pepper and sea salt.
Decided to treat myself as it’s rare to for me to get takeout. From a place called the Thai orchid.
Looks pretty decent - never had Swiss chard before. Was hoping for some berries but that’s okay.
Homemade guac on fresh sourdough bread from local farmers market with chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie I made.
Ordered the 6 pack - and can confirm it came with bonus taco crumbles and vegan jerky!!
How should I store this stuff? I’m single so it will take me awhile to go through 6 bags!
Any tips for preparation also?
Thanks!!
Hello friends!! In my 2nd month as a new vegan (have been vegetarian for a long time previously).
And I’ve already learned a lot. Please share any life hacks, tools, strategies-anything really - to eat cheap and vegan!
Maybe we could add a FAQ to the sub or a wiki? Just thinking…
Fast & easy way to eat veggies on the go…. What do you like to put in yours?
This one was hummus, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, alfalfa sprouts (homegrown), & fresh ground black pepper-all rolled up in a spinach wrap from Aldis.
Happy with what I got this week- not much that’s better than fresh picked strawberries.
Think I’m going to make some kind tomato basil salad too

New vegan here - just downloaded the paprika3 recipe app yesterday and was wondering if anyone had a vegan database of recipes I could import right into the app?
