My store got rid of free water

As a courtesy clerk, obviously I am outside a lot of the time, and a majority of that time is spent in burning hot weather, as I live in an area where it can easily get up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit on a daily basis. Last summer, they had a big cooler with ice cold water which was free to take for the employees, but eventually, they took it away and placed the free water in an E-Commerce fridge when it got colder in the year. This is how it was for a while until all of a sudden they took the free water away claiming it was “personal property in a store fridge”, and they won’t bring the cooler back. The only way to get free water now is at Starbucks, but I literally have to essentially beg my supervisor to go there, as I will leave my lane or I will go back inside. This has to be some sort of violation, is it?

UPDATE: The cooler is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Killed an ant, will it attract other ants

Found an ant in my room today, carpenter likely, and I squished it. I have read that ants come to where an ant died due to pheromones, but if I squished it with some toilet paper, flushed its body away, but maybe a tin by bit of blood I didn't see spilled from it, will ants still be attracted to the spot, or am I good?

Calling off

I know Kroger is a strict company, but as someone who has never called off before, how often should I call off if need be to still keep my job and be seen as a good employee?
