So, why are there so many Christian right wingers who think being a liberal is the worst thing in the world?

Just curious if people are doing some preparing for the potential rain onslaught this winter? In theory it should impact Southern California the most but Sacramento is likely to get higher than normal rainfall.

I am thinking about buying a battery backup but it’s not cheap so I am on the fence.

They need to make this happen… Ellie should go to space and visit a moonbase that has been overrun by infected. It’s the next natural progression of the story.

The Trump administration is absolutely exploding the debt (again) and we are reaching unsustainable levels.

Not only do the US taxpayers have to fund the massive interest payments… other countries can use the debt for leverage against the US.

If a country wants us to do something (or not do something) all they have to do is threaten to dump our treasuries and we have to fold.

Basic empathy is beyond their ability. If something hasn’t happened to them or if it’s outside their direct experience they can’t understand it.

I believe that is the defining characteristic of what makes someone a MAGA.

This game should be up there with the all time greats like Witcher 3 … but it seems to have more of a niche following even though the combat, graphics, and story are best in class.

Is it due to the female protagonist? Or anti-ginger sentiment?

He has used the government to seize part ownership of private companies. He has intervened in the business private companies. He’s talked openly about nationalizing our oil industry.

He’s also eroding the separation of church and state which opens the door to Islamic influence on our government.

And he’s building a massive surveillance state just like they do in communist countries.

He’s mishandled the Ukraine war by pointlessly pandering to Putin. He’s weakened NATO. He’s alienated our closest allies. He’s exploded our national debt.

And now he’s started a new middle eastern war that is snowballing out of his control.

I think they need to start blending in some more dynamic choices that impact the outcome of the game like Witcher 3. This game has a few inflection points where you have to make a decision but for the most part it’s pretty linear.

This may be a dumb question… but why do I see so many recommendations to pick a small number of ETFs instead of rain birding it over a ton of them?

Such a great movie… it’s a technical marvel and the message still hits. It’s non-linear story telling and simple but effective way of summing up an entire life with a few key themes is powerful.

My son just turned 18 and is permanently wheelchair bound. He is planning on going to online college. He has an account that his grandmother owns (he is the beneficiary). Will that count against him when applying for benefits?

I am just a bit lost on what we should be doing. He has MD and is wheelchair bound. He never qualified for benefits as a child since I have a job and was able to provide for him.

He is planning on continuing to live at home and attend an online college program. His stamina is compromised so I don’t think he could work an 8 hour day.

Is he entitled to benefits? I am not sure if we should even be investigating it or not.
