We just moved out to the North Yorkshire countryside. Lovely rural walks on the doorstep and not too sheepy around here. Stan loves it.

Trip to Bempton Cliffs today to photo the gannets with my G9ii but I had more fun down the road at Flamborough Head with my GX9 and the 12-32 kit lens. I really like the SOOC jpegs from this. Only the first shot has some editing applied.

At Bempton Cliffs visitor centre. Came for the gannets but this guy caught me eye. I love their colouring.

Beautiful setting on the cliffs of Flamborough Head, near Bridlington, East Yorkshire. Major seabird colony here with gannets, puffins, kittiwakes etc.

Invested in a used GX9 as an EDC - to compliment my G9ii which is mainly for birding - and really pleased with the SOOC results. Determined not to spend so much time in post-pro with this camera.

It came with the 12-32 G Vario kit lens and I have invested in the 35-100 as well which should cover my needs.

Lovely day to take the dog around Swinsty Reservoir, Near Harrogate. You pass Sir Gareth Southgates house, Swinsty Hall.

Not many birds about in the heat, but a couple of kites circled above. Location: W Yorks.

Love these guys, both have nests in my garden and sing all day. The wren is so hard to photo! Tiny, fast moving and usually deep in the bushes.

Not normally a Hannah fan - find that I don’t connect with her vibe or music. But really enjoyed this- having the bursts in the saddle and the rests out was a new one for me and totally worked.
