IN-12 or IN-14 regarding durability/availability?

Hello! After years thinking about it, I am planning to buy a nixie clock from nixieshop in Ukraine.

I am a total newbie in the matter. Recently, I saw on the website that they also sold clocks with IN-12 tubes in a really cute 4-digit setup. I initially planned to get a classic IN-14 6-digit clock but now I'm hesitating.

I was wondering if regarding durability and availability of replacement tubes, IN-12 were a risky choice? I read from their FAQ and assumed from skimming through topics on forums and on reddit that IN-14 are the most common/cheapest and easiest to find, but I'd rather ask knowledgeable people.

Thanks a lot.

Need help diagnosing a vibration/wobble in the steering wheel

Hello everyone! I own this 2012 D5 XC70 since last april, and I love it.

TL;DR: Car had a wobble in the steering when doing large turns. It 90% disappeared when I got the 2 front tyres replaced. One month later, the steering wheel developed some sort of light left-right shake (faster than the wobble) when I drive and not only when I turn. From the start it's been "pulling" slightly to the right as well, and I wonder what is at fault.

Longer description if it helps : when I bought my XC70, it had a slight, slow "wobble" feeling in the steering exactly like what is described here, it would only appear when doing large turns. Power steering fluid level was and still is ok.

In June, the two front tyres were replaced (one was noticeably more used than the other) and this wobble was let's say 90% gone. I did mention the wobble to the mechanics, asking if they could take a look and if I needed to maybe do the steering geometry/parallelism. They did a visual inspection and told me they didn't notice anything that would warrant doing it.

Now it's been a few weeks that something different has appeared: the steering wheel "vibrates", lightly shakes left and right - only when I am driving. It looks more concerning as it is visible if my hands leave the steering wheel (ie. doesn't appear just when I turn) and I feel it when driving, although it's not super strong. Maybe important: it seems to lessen when the car has driven for a while.

Has anyone had something similar ?

Also it is to note that since I bought it the steering wheel naturally "rests" slightly to the right/pulls slightly to the right if my hands leave it - it won't drive completely straight which I know is also an issue, but I wonder if it is linked to the past wobble and current vibration issue.

As I am not super knowledgeable about cars (but would like to diagnose things better), does all of this sound like it could be coming from the same "part", and if so, which one? I was thinking steering column or steering rack which both sound like very expensive fixes but I am of course willing to get it done for the car.

Thanks a lot for reading me and for any advice.

As a "CoD refugee" I did not expect to get the MBT badge before the guns. It's never too late to discover you like playing tank!

Last year, you guys really liked my neighbour's [Renault 5 Turbo]. Here's a fresh pic from today!

Post from last year. I was able to chat with him today as he parked behind me, super cool guy, retro cars collector but if you ask me, that's his best one!

My houseplants are happy and so am I

I have a lot of small houseplants in my apartment, gathered over the last 2-3 years. They grow very slowly because the lightning isn't super good here. But somehow, they're all doing good and lately I've noticed them grow.

My pothos cutting took 1 year and a half to make its first new leaf, but it made it and it's now working on another. My euphorbia ingens (a cactus-looking succulent) that I bought 3 months ago has new growth at the top, with bright green and amusingly soft baby spikes. My 3 years old spider plant cutting is barely bigger than it was at the start, but looking happy in its tiny pot and very slowly growing new leaves. My blossfeld kalanchoe is, to my absolute surprise, making new small, bright orange flowers although I wasn't expecting it at all given the conditions. All of my snake plants - cuttings from a rotten plant, that I thought wouldn't survive, currently have fast-growing baby snake plants everywhere in their 3 pots. The big monstera cutting I took from my office plant is making its first little root in its jar of water.

Every day, I take 5 minutes to look at all my little plants, and it makes me smile to see them thrive.
