HRT patch .0375 out of stock and doc is out for the next few days so the office cannot recommend a replacement.
I take pill, cream, and patch. The patch is out.
I'm frustrated with the staff response that "going off the patch cold turkey is no big deal."
The side effects sure sound like it to me. Sweats, acne, mood swings, and sleep issues?
If you continue the pill and cream without the patch for 3-10 days what did you experience?
57 no period for 8 years.
I get that the HRT patch shortage is out of office staff control.
However, being told the doctor can only review alternate options on X date but it's "no big deal" to go cold turkey off HRT is so annoying.
I consider
Sleep issues
Uncontrolled sweats
Anxiety
Bleeding
Rage
To be kind of a big deal. But that may just be the mood swings 😉.
I would think during shortages we could have a more expedient way to handle alternate Rx options.
Our U.S. health care is so broken.

My sweet Jack just hanging around, literally.
I've been fighting texture and dullness with products along every price range. I'm sure part of the issue is well water that although run through a treatment system still is well water.
Meanwhile I spend the day at an inland freshwater lake, come home and sleep on my unwashed lake water hair - and it's the most gorgeous shiny ringlets. 😂
I told my husband I'm bringing back buckets of lake water for rinsing next time we go. 🤔 Apparently fish poo and organic matter is the ultimate hair treatme
It happened.
One fresh dog poop met the robot vac. It spun it in circles real well.
It could have been worse but it also could have been much better had it just NOT.
It seems to have panicked and went back to base so we had that going for us.
Now our floors have never been cleaner. I just bleached the literal shi% out of hardwood floors and one rug went directly to the trash.
Nova is our baby girl and she's having pelvic surgery tomorrow. If you could spare a prayer for her to be safe and comfy it would be much appreciated.
She has Addison's disease (well managed) and I'm basically a helicopter dog mom so I'm worried. I hate that she has to stay overnight at the hospital.
Apx 10 years old
16 lbs
Addison's Disease well managed since 2022
Also takes Enalaprel and Dasuqin daily
Location USA
Fully indoor dog who lives with doting adults. Sofa and bed princess. Never outside off leash or alone.
Woke up this morning wouldn't bear weight on back leg. Yelping and trembling. Ravenous appetite for breakfast though.
Went immediately to her vet. XRay shows broken pelvis. We have no idea how this could happen. The highest place we can imagine her falling from is back of the sofa or our bed???
According to consult between our vet and surgical vet she is a good candidate for surgery. They see no issues with bone density or any indication of cancer or anything that would compromise the bone. Just a bad break? They will call us tomorrow to schedule.
They said likely Thursday. Does that seem right? To wait 3 days?
I'm just so concerned at how this happened. Obviously we will follow their advice but if anyone has input on healing, what to expect, therapies, etc . I would be so grateful as I'm worrying until they call in the morning.
I have the xray - they are calling it a clean break and unusual as it is just one and not two as they normally see? For some reason the option to attach it is greyed out.

Appetite remains good. In fact I was preparing to serve her breakfast on couch while waiting for vet to open when she flung herself off the sofa and came in the kitchen to scarf down her breakfast.

I am a Birk girl - boots, Bostons, sandals, and slippers.
The only Birkenstock I've ever not loved was Madrid Big Buckle.
Gizeh are my favorite in their sandal line.
I'm drawn to these braided leather but wonder
If that braid is really comfortable?
