Context- I hate physics and love Math and I started studying seriously from the month of November and I skipped JEE Mains session 1 becz I knew I can't do shit there.

From November I started studying like hell and I would increase my study hours everyday and somedays I would just do Math and nothing else. During that period I gave multiple mocks chapterwise ( from melody bhai, iykyk) and I am in HSC board, which is notorious to give so frickin less marks and also saare paper leak hote hai ( I came to know about ts later). Boards ke baat bhi I was locked in for BITSAT and I was mainly strong in Math, PC and IOC.

JEE Mains ghatiya gaya ( mainly attempted math obio) got 92.4. Uske baad BITSAT dene gaya and then I got 253 16S2. I was so damn happy, never expected itna zaada ayega. But then after my UGEE exam, I saw that result declare hogaya of HSC Boards- I was expecting about 80percent, to my shock I got 62.5 and man I could'nt even move exam centre ke bahar. I never expected to get less than 70% and after that itna ghatiya hone ke baad I couldnt do shit. So uske baad I did'nt even study shit for any other exam and now abhi I am getting core branch in Tier2 cllgs but as I hate phy, gonna join Mnc in Tier 3 college. Yeah, thats it dude, pata nhi ab bolke kya he hoga bc.

Just warning 27 tards jinhine Hsc board liya hai, cause my frnd who got 99.6x got 68 in Hsc too and uska bhi criteria hua nhi and dusra banda who got 99.9+ got 75.4 and uska just clear hogaya,.

TLDR- Got 253 in Bitsat but 62.5 in boards so gonna join Tier3 cllg for mnc branch.moye moye.

Foreword

1. This list is made using the placement data and cutoffs.
2. Most of the pros and cons are stated by seniors.
3. For pvt colleges like VIT Pune, SIT and TSEC- I have reached out to seniors who are currently studying there.
4. The placement data is mainly according to how the seniors have reported it to be as most private colleges inflate their data.
5. I am not trying to defame any college in this list, this is mainly based on my opinion.

CATEGORY 1 - God Tier (in mhtcet lol)

1. ICT Mumbai ( for chem eng)

PRO- Considered to be one of the best institutes and is recognized nationally for chemical engineering and is damn good for fellow chem lovers.

CONS- Brand value degradation in recent years and also addition of branches which are pretty much useless (according to seniors). Do it for passion obio and not for money (but still placements better than lots of tier 2 cs cllgs)

2) VJTI, Mumbai

Pro- Known to be da GOAT for IT BRANCHES and the placements and brand name is goated af.

Con- Infra is shit ( pretty much all cet govt cllgs) and hostel allocation is tough

2) COEP, Pune

Pro- Known to be da GOAT for CORE BRANCHES and the placements and brand name is goated af. The campus is much bigger and better facilities than VJTI and the clubs here are considered to be the best.

Con- Same as VJTI but yk these cllgs are goated so con is pretty much useless dude.

Category 2 - THE Premium College Ji (in mhtcet lol)

4) SPIT, Mumbai

Pros- Placements are damn good and location is good too.

Cons - Shitty acronym name for this college, tough hostel allocation as located in Mumbai and a bit strict acads. Strict attendance policy so mid coding culture.

5) Cummins (same rank as PICT for girlies but lot less stricter than PICT)

Pros- Placements are GOATED af (many top investment banks placements dete hai) and also many companies come for placements to fullifll gender ratio wala requirement yk. The faculties are goated (even for core) and campus life is damn gud too.

Cons- Coding culture is not as good as WCE and DJSCE ( but placement better hai) and only for girls.

6) PICT, Pune

Cons - Strict af ( school jaisa cllg ) and placements are a bit declining.

7) WCE Sangli

Pros- Coding culture damn good and bigger campus than most cet college, core branch placements are damn good but strict af (mainly mech).

Cons- Bad location and student intake increased.

8) Djsce- Dj Sanghvi, Mumbai

Pros- NO RESERVATION for category students (but only 1k rs fees for sc/st) , Good Coding culture, lesser intake than many cllgs.

Cons- Campus is small af, hostel expensive af, Gujju Quota hai (but still the cutoff isnt as low as other category wale in above colleges), lots of CSE specializations, EXTC is shit according to seniors.

9) SPCE, Mumbai ( ONLY FOR CORE BRANCHES)

Though this college is only for core branches but this is so damn goated that imo this college is rank 3 in Core in mhtcet college list.

PROs- Placements for core are on par with VJTI and COEP. Not as strict as PICT and all and great location and campus.

CON- Operated on traditional standards rather than exploring itself to new pathways. (according to senior ji)

CATEGORY 3 -GOOD COLLEGES (in mhtcet lol) - will be mainly mentioning cons becz thats what ppl wanna know and will be mentioning a pro which is not there in othere colleges in this section.

10) TSEC, Mumbai (worth only if u live in Mumbai)

Pros- Very Good College life and much more relaxed than other cllgs in this category

Con- Expensive af if u r gonna live in hostel and also fees is more than other GOVT cllg and campus small af.

11) VIT Pune

Pro- Brand Name is good and if you are in the top creamy layer of students here in terms of CGPA and skills then you are gonna get a good placement ( well its the same for all colleges but the companies visiting this college is better than any other colleges in this category.

Cons- Intake has been increased a lot ( only for CS rn 3.5k seats) and seniors are expecting the placements to fall (obio).

12) SIT- Symbiosis Pune - choose this over VIT only if u are getting vit through management/ ils quota.

Pro- Big Campus and lot lesser intake than other 2 colleges above. Median is good and reservation quota is very small. Good Companies visit this cllg too. The college helps most students to find internships too.

Cons- Expensive af (4L per year for CS and 3L for Entc) and hostel is only for 1st year, from 2nd year onwards you will have to find a pg ( hostel for 1st year is approx 1.5L )

13) PCCOE, Pune - only comparing with KJSCE

Pros- Fees is lot lesser than KJSCE but if fees is not an issue then choose KJSCE

Cons- Very very Strict and no college life.

14) KJSCE, Mumbai - maybe same rank as SIT for Mumbaikars.

Pros- Good college life and clubs are good too.

Cons- Expensive af and not logical for non Mumbaikars to study here. Some seniors reported that the college doesnt help much to find internships and that management is shit (true for most colleges here)

NOTE

1. Well i havent included main collleges like CRCE and VESIT because that colleges are good only if u live near them yk.
2. If you want to know about colleges which are not in this list then dont be d*mb and post on this sub asking about how that college is, everyone here will say its the worst college ever and will not help you. Instead post your college options and ask about them.
3. Don't post your percentile and ask what colleges will you get, instead go to websites like predictcollege .in and then put your percentile, cateogory and branch or location and then download the list.
4. If you are not getting top colleges in this list and you are rich af then go through management quota dude.
5. If you cannot afford to get in through management then either choose a local college and grind tf there and also dont be involved in shitty activities there or take a drop and pls lock in (try to take a drop offline).
6. About Me: I got 99+in Mhtcet and I have knowledge about these colleges because literally most of the people in my fam have studied in many of these colleges. Btw I am not joining any of the cet colleges as I am only gettinf core branch in the top college (yk which cllg) and I hate physics and love math so will be choosing MnC( Mathematics and computing) in another cllg not in Maharashtra.
7. Don't Dm me asking for counseling. I am done with that so pls dont dm me but if someone wants to get in through Management quota then go through official college itself and not through agents. All the pvt colleges here (except DJSCE and Cummins) have ils/ management quota.

Today is English ka exam so atb guyz

So basically mera pehla session acha gaya tha and uske baad I stopped studying because of various reasons like mera BITSAT mai 253 aagaya tha but Hsc ne G mardiya and all. So 2nd session was pretty much useless for me and ghanta kuch padha tha uske liye ( Ganda wala fever tha ) so what I did was 2days before MHTCET, I attempted last 3yrs PYP and usme every exam mai sirf tukka martha gaya and then after every exam I used to analyse my wrong tukkas and then I eventually improved my tukka skill so much that I didnt solve a single question in 2nd session, only tukkas and then baaki time mai I tried to sleep centre mai but neend nhi aarha tha. Uske baad when response sheet came out, I got to know I got 122 in S2 PCM. So thats the con of having no negative marking in MHTCET and uske karan worthy candidates ko seats nhi miltha hai.

TLDR- Got 122 in s2 only through tukka by perfecting my tukka skills 🥀

ATS- ACCORDING TO SENIOR

1. ICT ( only for chem eng but ATS , the brand value is degrading a lot )
2. VJTI ( better for IT branches )
3. COEP ( better for Core branc hes )
4. SPIT ( bad faculty ATS and relative grading to tough to get a good CGPA )
5. SPCE ( for core branches )
6. WCE ( location isn't gud ATS )
7. CUMMINS ( Core is gud too but only for Gurls )
8. PICT ( strict af and attendance ka issue )
9. DJSCE ( increased intake and core branches aren't good ATS )
10. TSEC (campus isn't gud ATS AND not worth for non- mumbaikars becz hostel is expensive af)
11. VIT P ( intake increased a lot from 2028 batch and hence degrading it's brand value ATS )
12. SIT PUNE ( expensive af but better than VIT placements for CSE )
13. KJ SOMAIYA ( again expensive af)

NOTE- Guys if you aren't getting a good colleges like top 15 Maharashtra mai and all then use ur power of reservations even in good pvt colleges if you have reservation. But still nhi mil rha tho get into whatever college you are getting ( pehle research karlo reddit mai bhi for reviews and linkdin to get in contact with seniors ) and then excel there and grind ur ahh off. Iske baad if the response is good then mai idhr he post karunga what to do for college mai for my CS guys

Predictor itna ganda prediction de rha hai but the fact most people are not gonna like is ki this year 2 sessions hai and which means rank bhi badne wala hai even though only half of the students ne he attempt 2 diya, still the ranks are gonna be inflated. TOPPERS ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO ARE NOT GONNA GET AFFECTED- becz many JEEtards and Bitstards wale log jinhone acha perform kiya hai they did not give 2nd attempt and becz of that 2nd session wale topper are gonna have an advantage. I personally fxuked my 2nd attempt big time so even cet mai I am truly fxuked.
