Finally got some wrist time with the SBEJ017. The white dial, blue hands and brushed steel bezel work so well together. I also really like the GMT layout — sporty, but still clean enough for everyday wear.

At 39.5mm, it wears very comfortably on my wrist. Definitely one of my favorite Alpinist designs. The 110th Anniversary details make it even more special.

I think the SARB038 deserves a lot more attention than it gets.

While the SARB033 and SARB035 are well known, the SARB038 offers a completely different personality with its warm gold sunburst dial and gold-plated case. The combination gives it an elegant, vintage-inspired look that really stands out.

It still features the same classic 38.5mm SARB case, sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance, and the reliable 6R15 automatic movement, making it just as enjoyable to wear every day.

I paired mine with a genuine Seiko leather strap and a matching OEM gold-tone deployant clasp, and I think it complements the watch perfectly.

Anyone else here appreciate the underrated SARB038? I’d love to see yours!

One of my favorite Japanese HAQ watches. The brushed dial looks absolutely stunning in person. The Super Titanium case makes it incredibly light and comfortable. Powered by the Eco-Drive A060 with ±5 seconds/year accuracy. A truly underrated masterpiece from Citizen.

The SARB001 is one of Seiko's lesser-known Retro Modern models, featuring a beautiful faceted sapphire crystal and an incredible sunburst blue dial that completely changes depending on the light.

Photos really don't do the dial justice—it shifts from light ice blue to deep electric blue depending on the angle.

The 6R15B movement is running great, and I'm really impressed with the finishing and unique design. Definitely one of my favorite JDM Seikos.

What do you think of the Retro Modern series? Does anyone else here own a SARB001 or another model from the lineup?

The eagle feather-inspired dial has incredible depth and texture. Depending on the lighting, it shifts from icy white to a soft silver with subtle hints of green. Combined with the razor-sharp hands, flawless polishing, and the incredibly precise A060 Eco-Drive movement (±5 seconds/year), it's a watch that's even more impressive in person than in photos.

Definitely one of my favorite dials from The Citizen.
