Did the manufacturer coupon get worse?
I was on Ozempic 2-3 years ago, when I first started I was shocked by the price. Even with insurance (CVS Caremark) it still cost $200/mo. Then I found out about the manufacturer's coupon and it lowered my cost to $25/mo.
Fast forward to today, I am starting Ozempic again. My insurance is different now (Optum RX), but I'm covered. My initial cost with just my insurance is $200/mo, but with the manufacturer's coupon it only lowered it to $100/mo.
I don't think my new insurance provider is the problem, because the pre coupon price is the same, so did the coupon somehow get worse?
Lab worker tricked me into watching an injection, then I got 86'd for my reaction.
I am not comfortable with needles, so when I get blood work done I always tell them "I don't like needles, so I'm gonna look away, and please don't tell me when it's coming." It's just that initial jab that really freaks me out and gives me anxiety, once I'm past that I am totally fine.
Today the lady who was taking my blood got everything prepped, and I turned my head so she could do her thing. She then asks me "have you talked to anyone about this mole on your arm?" Causing me to look toward my arm, and as soon as I looked, she stuck the needle in! She lightly giggled, but my reaction was to shout "YOU FUCKING BITCH!" quite loudly. She was clearly a bit shaken up by it, and so was I. She finished drawing my blood and I left.
I got a call later from someone at that office asking me not to come back to that location. I was still too angry to explain myself, so I just hung up. I am a little hot still, so tomorrow when I am calmer I plan to write an email to the office explaining my side of the situation.
Also, I do not have any moles on my arm.
For the first time, I'm really pissed off about the Netflix deal.
I normally listen to the pod at work, but I've always watched the D&D episodes. Now I can't watch my favorite beefcake Dungeon Master, and it is going to ruin America's birthday for me.
Games that you were good at, until suddenly you weren't.
A few years ago I started playing Rocket League with my nephew, and I was fucking crushing it! I was scoring multiple goals per match, blocking shots, stealing the ball, etc. Then all of the sudden the SBMM caught up to me, and I was getting my shit pushed in, literally every single game was just a slaughter.
Anyone else have a similar experience? Maybe running into a boss that you just couldn't beat?
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
Why did they think making the bridge a barren wasteland again was a good idea? That was legitimately the best park in the game.
Both Tkachuk bros on the same team. Are the Panthers now America's team?
That's hockey talk.
Cyclist saw a guy running for the bus and helped him catch it.

Hello fellow Rams fans! 🥸
Aren't we all so glad that Aaron Donald is living his best life in retirement? I sure hope the team doesn't call him! Also, I think Garrett probably went through a lot during his time in Cleveland. Let's save him the extra jet lag and let him stay home for the opening game in Australia. I think we could let old man Stafford get some rest that week too!
How can I make decisions for a group of friends without sounding bossy?
Whether in my personal or professional life, I tend to take charge in group situations, at least when there isn't already a designated leader. It seems like whenever I'm with friends or family, I am often the one making decisions for the group. I try to phrase things in a way that sounds open ended, but I've really made the decision for us.
For instance, when we're trying to pick a restaurant I'll say something like: "where does everyone want to eat on Saturday? I think _____ sounds pretty good and they have happy hour from 3-6. Meet up at 3:30?"
Last year I went on a trip to Denver with some friends and I basically planned everything. I helped my friends find the best deals on flights, booked a great AirBNB, booked tickets to a concert at Red Rocks, made reservations for Casa Bonita, planned the route for those of us who drove there and back, picked out restaurants and breweries to hit up while we were in town, etc. I even found a dispensary near the AirBNB with the best prices/reviews for my friends who smoke!
When I travel overseas with my family I'm booking all of the hotels, flights, transport, rental cars, finding highly rated restaurants and local recs (thanks reddit!), excursions, museums, etc.
I'm always open for a discussion, but 9/10 times we end up going with my ideas. I really try hard to let someone else takeover the decision making, but when nobody else steps up, I will, and that happens damn near all of the time! I really would love to just kick back and let someone else take the lead, but if I do it just becomes endless chatter and indecision. Also, I hate feeling like I'm being bossy!
Does anyone else have any experience like mine, or is there someone in your group or family who is often the decision maker?
The weather apps on my work phone (iPhone) and personal phone (Pixel) showed a 10° discrepancy this morning.
10° change makes a big difference in determining whether I wear pants or shorts to work!
I don't want to hear any complaints that we didn't get a Spring this year.
Enjoy this weather while we have it!
Hoka determined this to be normal wear and tear, and not covered under warranty, my disappointment is immeasurable.
4 months of use at work only, I don't even wear them in the parking lot, I change shoes in my office! I'll be looking elsewhere for my next pair of work shoes.
